I used to think this was one of the better locations unfortunately my 5 star review went down to a 1 smh … They don’t do half and half combos like other l&l’s and they don’t carry laulau&kalua till Friday … Smh and they MAKESUREYOUARESUPERRUSHEDANDUNCOMFORTABLEANDADAMANTTHATYOUDONTEATINBECAUSEGODFORBIDYOUCOMEIN3MINUTESTILL8PM … Lmao oh and they lock the door so you can’t get out I mean damn what happened to ALOHASPIRIT lmao cause I sure didn’t feel it tonight … Not a good feeling especially when you’re Hawaiian and know what good service and aloha spirit feels like and this ain’t it brah ! Lol last time we come here

Good portion of food for a decent price. Really enjoy the chicken Katsu plate, but I always make sure to get extra katsu sauce. The mini is a perfect portion size for one person, with the regular size being a ton of food.

Food is delicious. Garlic ahi is my absolute favorite! John and Jen are the owners, total sweethearts! I miss this place so much right now. They serve the best of everything. I stopped eating meat so I have to stick to their seafood now, but still amazing. Their gravy is my absolute favorite. It’s not the same anywhere else. I love how they’re always playing the Merry Monarch festival really emphasizing Polynesian authenticity. John and Jen, open up another restaurant in Temecula! lol I need one closer to me!

This is the second time I’ve had a problem with a Hawaiian barbeque place where their menu differed from the one on their website. I asked for the lau lau steamed in a taro leaf, but was told it’s only served on Fridays. Then I asked for the ramen burger and they didn’t have it. Third request was for garlic fish that’s flash fried. Their ahi has garlic but is grilled. However, the mahi mahi is fried, except it doesn’t have garlic. Fourth time ended up being the charm. Simply went with the kalua pork with cabbage. At least the cashier was sweet and patient while dealing with me. I was surprised that they had the Hawaiian Sun brand drinks I can only find at Asian markets. Always enjoyed those. I grabbed one while waiting and my food came just as I was paying for it. Perfect timing. The pork and cabbage dish was succulent and delectable. Better than expected. Makes up for the issue with the menu items. There’s probably some fine print on the website somewhere that says«menu differs by location.» Wouldn’t be a problem if it was more obvious.

Love the family pack. Definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a lot of food at a reasonable price.

This L&L is great! When you walk into the restaurant you can hear island vibe music already which made me feel like I was in Hawaii. The staff are all super friendly too! There are plenty of seating as well. I lovee their spam musubi which their 3 musubi combo fills my appetite easily! Their plates are pretty big also even if you order the smallest portion! The parking lot can be a pain when there is a rush of people grabbing dinner and lunch but the food is totally worth it!

Last night my family and I were craving Hawaiian bbq. The first place was closed and then I found this spot! I sent my husband and others to pick up the food and once they arrived home we were not let down. We had Katsu, musibi, bbq chicken, bbq beef with macaroni salad and rice. Katsu was great. Crispy breaded skin. Tummy sauce to go with it.(not as good as my father-in-laws, but that’s okay) Bbq chicken was cool perfectly. Flavorful and juicy. Bbq beef was good. Flavorful Musibi was gone in seconds lol. Definitely coming back

Haven’t been here for quite a long time, I’d forgotten how big the portions were! I got the #2 combo, which had the grilled chicken, beef, and beef short ribs. After ordering, I went to go get my drink from the soda machine and before I finished filling my cup my order was ready. The chicken was the best part, though the beef and short rib seemed to be pretty tough. They were kinda like a wet beef jerky, only they weren’t stiff. They tasted like they had a teriyaki marinade to them. I don’t think I’d get that again, maybe just the chicken, and not the regular size. The picture I took shows the regular sized meal. The plate comes with 2 scoops of rice and a scoop of macaroni salad and on it were 2 slabs of chicken, 1 short rib, and a pile of the beef stuff. I couldn’t finish it all, and the amount of stuff in the container left no room to cut stuff. If you need any condiments, they are near the soda machine. There are 2 air pots, one with teriyaki sauce(it’s pretty thin, so it doesn’t stop up the spout), and the other is filled with soy sauce. Little cups with lids are available for your convenience. The soda machine has the usual stuff, but next to that is the orange bang machine. This thing spits out this whipped foamy fruity drink, the orange flavor is kinda like an Orange Julius or a Creamscicle, only you can get free refills. Also in the machine are piña colada and horchata flavors. Overall this is a good place to get something quick to eat, and a lot to eat for the price. Just come earlier in the day to maybe get something cooked more recently, and try to come before the crowds swarm the sports bar a few doors down. The parking in that strip mall is awful!

I’m not a Hawaiian BBQ expert but this is excellent! The mixed BBQ has great flavor. The macaroni salad is delicious as well. Take your time and savor the flavor.

The chicken plate I got tasted really old. I remember they used to be really juicy and moist but today… It was just horrible. The place was dirty. Next to the fountain drinks there was flies and bathroom was not well maintained at all. It still got 2 stars because of the lady behind the counter. She was nice and polite. If it wasn’t for her it definitely would be 1 star.

I called in my order today and picked it up 10 minutes later. I ordered the half order plate of the chicken katsu. It comes with a scoop of white rice as well as a scoop of their delicious macaroni salad. I paid about six dollars and some change. I love the lady at the cashiers cheerful spirit and attitude. Always says mahalo and aloha. My food was delicious. See you next time L & L’s.

Another great spot to eat 4 minutes from our house! This little strip mall has some great places. This is a small eatery run by family. It is always clean and the service, friendly. We love the spam musubi! It is the best out of all the other Hawaiian bbq places. Thick piece of grilled spam, sweet sauce, nice ratio of rice, wrapped in seaweed. Delicious! The rice is cooked perfect. Don’t get me started on how delicious their macaroni salad is! Creamy, tasty, yummy! Husband loves their bbq combo plate. They serve Hawaiian sodas too. They cater, and we ordered their homemade lumpia which are crisp and not greasy. And they include dipping sauce. Come eat here! Support family run small businesses.

Soooooooooo good!!! There used to be an L&L right by my house that I wasn’t a huge fan of but this was years ago. Today I had the BBQ beef and it was amazing! The macaroni salad is to die for and the price and portion sizes are the best thing about it! The one down side was that some of the beef was salty but I’m sure if I had kept the rice and didn’t ask for more macaroni, it would of balanced out. Def coming back during my lunches at work. Everything looks amazing there!

The food is good enough and the atmosphere is the same as any other L&L. We catered for a birthday party for about 50 people. Of course we ordered extra. BBQ chicken, ribs and beef, and also macaroni salad. The salad was really just noodles and mayo. But that wasn’t the only complaint. The parking here is terrible. Narrow and one way. Which led to… When the young man working helped us get the trays to the car he didn’t lock the wheels… And the cart went off the sidewalk and into the car. And the food went onto the sidewalk… I grabbed the cart and he got the food. He said he would ‘give us extra’. Also, for those four items? Over $ 300. It probably isn’t that expensive but… I guarantee I won’t be back to this location and I won’t likely cater from any L&L.

The only hawaiian bbq place I will every order from. Why? Service is always above excellent, prices is just right and their portioning is always more than what is expected:) Im a true fatty at heart and especially being asian I sure do love my rice!!! I dont know what it is, but everything tastes great here and ive tried a lot of other hawaiian bbq restaurants and nothing seemed to truly satisfy me but L&L. Their menu is easy to understand and its not extensive where you cant make up your mind lol. Oh and if you never had hawaiian bbq I recommend you try the«chicken katsu,» its what everyone always gets! :)
