First review I’ve ever written. I felt compelled after finding chewing gum a layer deep in my carnitas nachos.

I’ve been here a few times now and have had consistently good take out food. It’s a neighborhood Mexican food joint and it does a good job with the classic combos, burritos, and salsa bar. I’ve never eaten in but there are some tables. I always pay cash but I understand that is an issue for many people that they can’t consistently run a debit card. It isn’t the cleanest place but the service was quick and all of us enjoyed the food. I wouldn’t go there for a sit down meal, but for quick«grab and go» Mexican food-I’m so glad it’s in the neighborhood.

There are a lot of negative reviews on here, but it meets your expectations if you are looking for a cheap burrito. I always get take out since it’s near my house, and I have never used the restroom(the reason for several of the other negative reviews.) The food comes quickly. The burritos are big for the price. They always get my order right. It does vary, by the day, whether they are cash only.

This place is right across the street from my house, so I frequent it. The food is always good, I never get chunks of fat in my meat, can’t stand that. There salsa is very good. It is clean, but it could be cleaner, that’s why I only gave 4 stars, also there food is priced kinda high for a hole in the wall mexican shop.

So disgusting me and my wife found a WORM in our food! We ordered the carne asada quesadilla and I couldn’t believe it! They need to be shut down! DONOTWASTEYOURMONEY. No stars if I could.

Service is so slow. They don’t have the green salsa as selection. And their prices aren’t competitive and are on the pricier side. Plus, there’s no air conditioning, so you fry while you wait for your food. AND I asked if there was utensils, the server said yes. I left and checked. Low and behold, no utensils. Slightly annoyed. I got the carne asada and chimichanga. Carne asada was dry. They don’t put much pico, or guac. No sour cream either. I would get the carne asada some where else. The chimichanga was decent and if I had to, I would get again.

Carnitas was really good. Perfectly cooked. Not to dry and not to wet. Just perfect. Great salsa bar too.

It pains me to give them only 2 stars, but I’m afraid I’d be misleading fellow Unilocalers if I gave them any higher. Really the two stars are for them being close to home and the copious amounts of cheese they put on everything. Cause I love cheese, even their cheap reheated shredded processed cheese. This place has the appearance of a great, cheap, quick Mexican food place, I mean, handwritten menu, underage staff, and burritos wrapped in yellow paper, oh, and, of course, carne asada fries for the drunkies. But its mostly smoke and mirrors. When we do decide to head here last minute, my usual is the cheese enchilada combo plate. Now, depending on who is cooking that day, its either great or cold… literally. I do love their red enchilada sauce and beans and if the cook is on his game that day, the cheese in the enchiladas is so melty, gooey, and perfect, I’m on a food coma in no time. Of its an off day, the cheese is still cold and a lump inside a room temp, raw tortilla. You also are playing credit/cash roulette every time you walk in, some days card, some days not. I never have cash, so I usually just walk out hangry those days. I’d love to have a better relationship with this place, but with an abundance of cheaper, better options in the area, it just isn’t working out between us.

½ star, owner is VERYRUDE! does not take responsibility for his workers making errors in your oders. the place is filthy!!! the only good thing was the girls were nice. other than that we always get the wrong order, the food is o.k. but when we go there after work and order it is ALWAYSWRONGWHENWEGETHOME! when we call or go back the next day to let them know, the owner could care less!!!(sorry way to to do business here the states) douchbagg!!!

The cashier was more involved with her phone call that she didn’t put her phone down once while taking our order. Also I ordered my food without sour cream and my food ended swimming in sour cream. Not only were we disappointed in customer service and the food, the place was pretty dirty. I would recommend going elsewhere and save your money.

One word DISGUSTING! They’re meat tastes like they’ve been leaving it on top of the stove all day. Hard and crusty. They don’t know anything about customer service. Food is not good at all. Any of it. They seem very cheap and just there for the money and not what people actually want. I recommend not going there. Go to a real albertos. These people couldn’t afford the name. They’re a cheap run down version of a real albertos.

I’ll start by saying that I really like their food. Great Marine Burrito, Super Burrito, and I enjoy their Carne Asada Nachos. The staff has almost always been nice to me as well. My biggest issue is that they accept credit cards, though it is «never working». There has been a handful of times where the sign was up and they made me pay cash only to accept someone else’s card in order to not lose business. I’m not sure if it’s because they just don’t want to pay the fee or if they want to have a better chance at getting a tip? This is a big deal to me as I rarely carry cash.

Disgusting!!! Sick. I bit into a bean and cheese burrito and there was a HUGE hair in my mouth… I went back to return it/tell the owner and they were closed. When I went in the morning, the owner said since I didn’t hold on to the food, and had no proof, they said I was lying and trying to get a free meal! Ha. Stay far away my friends!!!

This place is disgusting as soon as you walk in it smells like the bathrooms. The entire restaurant reeks of a strong urine smell. It made it hard to eat because I felt like I was literally eating any porta potty. The smell is horrendous additionally the restrooms are just as disgusting it made me wonder how the cooks are able to wash their hands if the soap dispenser was completely empty and there were no paper towels to even dry your hands after running them underwater. The lady who works there is very weird; she’s darker skinned with black hair she’s not very friendly. She’s actually really rude I asked her if she could run my card as debit knowing she hurt me she ignored me and did not even acknowledge my question then she slammed my card on the counter instead of handing it back to me as I had my hand out. I do not recommend this place it’s disgusting

Ok so everything was all good here till the other Saturday we went here for breakfast burritos and there was burnt pieces throughout our burritos? We did go a little later than usual around 12 noon, having a busy Saturday morning and not getting breakfast till much later. My guess is maybe they didn’t clean the grill and we got all the burnt leftovers from everyone else’s breakfast burritos that morning. That is just a guess, but either way it had a bunch of burnt pieces in it. :( For the most part this place has been pretty good but just lacks consistency in quality I think. One day the salsas on point and another day it will be watery, one day they accept credit cards and another day they don’t, one day the breakfast burritos are good and the next day they are not.

I’m always up for trying a new burrito somewhere. I was heading home and decided to make a quick stop and grab a classy California Burrito with Chicken added. Surprisingly everything was seasoned very well, the carne asada and chicken both had great flavor by themselves. Oh yeah, burrito was huge! Good flavor, highly recommend anyone to give them a try.

I went there today and ordered the shrimp taco plate to go. Their credit card machine wasn’t working and it was cash only, no big deal. I gave the kid who works there my cash and they didn’t have enough change in the cash register to give me back so he had to go get change from next door, again sort of okay. He gives me my change and I sit down and wait for my food. 10 minutes go by and the kid asks me «excuse me, what did you order again?», so I told him what I ordered. Another 10 minutes go by and the young worker says my order and I grab my food to take home. When I got home I opened the food plate and I don’t have the shrimp tacos I ordered. I got cheese enchiladas so I ended up eating them and they weren’t that good and parts of the rice were burnt. So if you go to this place I recommend to check your to go orders before you leave.

Went here for some breakfast burritos. They were bangin’. Piping hot when they came out. The employee up front was something like a 14 year old kid, but I’m sure it was his family’s business, so wasn’t too questionable. We all enjoyed our breakfast burritos, glad I finally checked this little place out. The breakfast burritos cost 4.50 each. And come in steak, chorizo, sausage, or bacon. You can add extra meat for extra loot. I’ll definitely agree that it is a very typical shop, but I dig it. Credit card machine was broken, bummer.

My go to for fast Mexican take out. The quality of the food has improved since they split off on their own and became Señor. I really like how they sometimes have different specials which you know are fresh made like the head tacos! My favorite thing here is the salsa, they always have like 5 to pick from and they are pretty spicy.
