Don’t come to this location if you’re expecting decent coffee or good service. Ordered 2 mobile drinks and still had to wait for them to be prepared. They tasted horrible. We got the smoked butterscotch iced. They weren’t mixed so all the syrup was on the bottom. Mine had an add shot, and it’s not in there. 2 employees were out in the parking lot getting high, so that probably had something to do with the terrible service as well.

This Starbucks has a Drive-Thru. I should’ve known better. Drive thru’s are often slower than the inside line. But I thought I’d give it a shot. The drinks were fine, but if you are in a hurry then go inside and order.

I placed a mobile order here and I’m not sure what I paid for. not only did I have to wait a long time for my drink, when I actually received it, I was surprised at what I drank. This is probably the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to.

Boo!!! This store has seven baristas behind the counter, but are the slowest pack of people ever!!! At the end of the bar, «little butterfly» is more concerned with talking to people than making drinks! I came for coffee, plain basic coffee at that, and not social banter! These people have one job and they are horrible at their one job.

Each time I go to this Starbucks, I buy a sandwich or meal box, a bag of coffee and a drink. I ALWAYS have to request a bag to hold my items. When I do they ALL look at me like what for? I want a bag for my meal along with a napkin thank you so much!

When they first opened, it was great service and the drive thru was really quick. I was very impressed. Then the nearby Starbucks closed so of course they’re busier but even now that the other location re-opened, the drive thru is very slow. Maybe staffing changed. Unfortunate.

I’m not sure what is up with this staff, but every time I go through the drive thru, they completely mess up the order. The guy who took my order repeated every word I said, yet it ended up not the drink I ordered and it did not show on the sticker they put on the cups. Therefore, making me look bad for having them to remake it when it was the guy’s fault for not taking my order right. Then as they were remaking my drink, about four of them were standing around the window, one girl asked if we wanted the messed up drink otherwise she was going to dump it, my husband took it to be nice, and one of the guys(probably the one who took my order) said something along the lines of «how about giving it to the next car…» Implying that if it was messed up in the first place, why would we take it? We shouldn’t have, but I wouldn’t want anyone to drink that mishap. This staff is rude and should be careful when taking orders in the drive thru, especially the guy. You can’t pick and choose which ingredients to put in a custom drink. I’ll do my best to avoid this one.

My first time here with this energetic morning crew! There was one barista singing which was quite entertaining. The store wasn’t as busy on the inside, but their drive-thru, my goodness! Anyways, just came in for a simple soy latte– tastes like usual. I would come back :)

1) Located off the El Camino Real Exit & the 78 frwy 2) Great Staff… a few pretty girls… and one ugly one 3) They also have a few booths inside… this makes the café experience much more comfortable than sitting on those hard wood chairs Starbucks typically has… No Bueno :( 4) It sits in a Towne Center that has a Target, The Habit Burger, and a Denny’s… So if you’re a Fatty… Oop’s i meant a «Foodie» you can’t go wrong

This Starbucks merits a YAAAAAASSSSS. While the drive-thru situation here can get off the chain chaotic, I’ve been cut in front of on a few occasions, that doesn’t detract from the service provided at the window/counter nor will it make me subtract a star. I frequented this location quite a bit when I was on my old work assignment which happened to also be while I was very, very pregnant and all I was allowed to order was apple juice and a scone. I’d sit at a table and do work on my laptop, enjoying the light that comes in given this Starbuck’s location on a corner. A good place to study or put in work, the sound never gets out of hand and I’ve noticed more people that come here do so to get something done than to meet up with friends for conversation and haha’s. Baristas are lovely here, I must admit though that I snap-judged them as immature and unruly when this establishment opened. My mind has since changed about them as I find them all to be very personable and, well, they make good drinks so that’s a plus! They’re always so busy here, but the employees keep their cools/smiles on their faces! I personally have never had an order mixed up/messed up and I am grateful for that! Life’s a garden, dig it! Grab some coffee and zip on over to Target! Much too convenient!

I don’t know what it is but every time I order my drink it’s always wrong I guess I don’t mind spending five dollars on a drink but when your drink taste like hot water with nasty spices in it’s just not worth it. They never have a problem fixing the coffee but the problem is I’m always having to drive back to get it fixed what a waste of time

The baristas here tend to be much slower than the other locations… I find myself in the drive thru lane much longer than normal. The staff isn’t so friendly here either. A simple good morning or a «hey how’s it going» goes a long way. I ordered a simple iced black coffee and a breakfast sandwich. The meat in my sandwich happened to have been cold too-A few minutes longer in the oven would’ve been greatly appreciated, I mean I did have a long wait already… what’s another 3 minutes. I’ll be back again… it’s the closest location to my work… hopefully it’s a better experience next time.

I’ve had the pleasure of being a patron of Starbucks well over a decade and I’ve seen some seedy locations with well managed stores. This is a brand new store in a high traffic area on the border of Oceanside and Carlsbad with the convenience of a drive thru, but as far as I’ve experienced it is the most poorly managed. Cleanliness: Without fail, every single time I’ve purchased a drink in store, tables are filled with crumbs and left over debris of paying patrons. There is little foresight beyond the initial morning setup to maintain a sanitary café. The pick up bar where food and beverages are received shows little care for the customer as the counter is unwiped and items remain unstocked. There is an overall appearance of disarray beyond the required company displays. Customer service: The company mantra is in violation. They had forgotten to make a beverage and offered a forced apology. The normal course of action for customer retention is to offer a coupon for a free beverage and that wasn’t top of the working team’s mind. Another Unilocaler mentioned that the staff chit chat amongst themselves more than to guests; I concur with that opine. The team is unfriendly and appear unhappy as smiles are few if any offered. The management is wholly focused on the busy work of getting orders fulfilled that the quality of the drinks fall short. Were I not a loyal customer, I would cease being a patron with the distaste I’ve received from this particular store. As it were, I recommend going through the drive thru for a quick coffee fix rather than in store. Maintain low expectations so that you aren’t disappointed.

Ummmmm GROSS… This Starbucks was disgusting… 1. Fizz machine broken 2. Spilled food and drinks spilled on the counter and no one cleaning it up. 3. No one bussing the tables. 4. Watched an employee reuse a cup… NEVER have I seen a Starbucks behave this way and I visit many, many locations almost daily!

First time checking out this location. This little strip mall is brand new construction in the Tri City area. I liked the vibe inside. My reduced fat turkey bacon sandwich had cold bacon and I let the batista know. She handled it like a pro and provided me with a new sandwich and gave me a 4.00 gift card for my next visit.

My favorite Starbucks hands down! If there was a rating between 1 – 10, it would be 9.9. Only one out of the 20 times I’ve been here was my drink bleh and since I’ve been around the Starbucks block a few times and back, that’s a bottom of the ninth, tied game, and then you just hit a GRANDSLAMHOMERUN! In the morning, the drive thru line is ridiculous as all others are and sadly the baristas feel constantly rushed so even if you go inside just double check your drink and make sure it’s what you correctly ordered. Studying here has never been a problem unless it’s the frequent Starbucks customers who come say hi to me and want to chat a bit. So instead of sticking around Barnes and Noble down the street which always seems to be over crowded and too noisy, it’s better to relax here.
