Broccoli rabe that my 1 year old loves? Check. Amazing chicken(though it takes a long time) check. Good take-out. We don’t eat in but that’s okay. For penne a la vodka, though, I prefer la pizzaola.

My absolute favorite Italian place. Best sauce ever!!! Everything is delicious the chicken parm, pasta e fagioli, chicken marsala, veal parm, etc. I moved out of state and miss Villa soooooo much. I wish I can ship their sauce here! Texas needs an authentic Italian place. People wouldn’t know what to do here if they tried Villa. They think Domino’s is good. Please open another location in Georgetown, TX. Lol

Seems like the employees that answer the phone still run and rule the place! Guess the owners haven’t got the message yet!

The food has been good but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Went for dinner and we weren’t hungry enough for a whole meal each so I said we would split the dinner. All’s well until the bill comes and I see a $ 2.50 «sharing charge.» Excuse me? you’re a pizzeria in a strip mall and I know real restaurants that don’t charge for that. Anyway, I ask the waitress about it and she says, with a snotty attitude, «well, it’s on the menu.» True, it IS in small print on the bottom of the menu but how about as a courtesy and to be a good server you tell people that when they order? Inattentive servers hang out in the kitchen with their backs to the customers so you have to go looking for them a lot.

I have called multiple times(like an idiot) in the past always hoping for a change. Everytime I call this restaurant for either a simple question, the men over the phone are nothing but rude and disrespectful. They make me feel like I’m working for them the way they talk to me. My friend’s and family had the same experiences when calling here. then when the food finally gets here the food isn’t worth it. I remember this place always being an awesome faimly friendly place, that now pizzaiola is :).

Villa Formia has a pizza shop portion and a more elaborate restaurant portion. This review is of the pizza shop portion. My favorite pizza shop. People have different tastes in pizza in terms of crispiness/thickness of crust, etc. I personally love their pizza, which has a thicker and tastier crust. They also have a wide variety of different toppings/types of pizza. Personal favorites are tortellini pizza and the white pizza. The pizza shop half is laid back and friendly, generally with a soccer game on the tv.

Great specialty pies! Food is great for delivery– baked ziti, chicken parm, penne a la vodka

Rude on the phone, and lacking in quality of pizza is not a winning combination. They were the only pizza place open after the snow storm so we ordered from them instead of our normal order from Dcoccos. I will say the only highlight were their garlic notes. They were very good. Otherwise the pizza was eh and the eggplant parm was super fried but not terrible. If you are in a pinch they will fill your needs, but with so many other pizza places in Oside i dont think I’ll be getting from them again.

I’ve here a few times and the food has always been good. One down side is when the sit down side is busy they only have one waitress and she gets overwhelmed. But all in all its a good local place

Bad experience! As an entrée, I ordered Calamari Marinara. The squid tasted metallic and very fishy. ‘Wanted to return it as it was inedible. The server brought dish back into the kitchen and came back out to tell me that«management stands behind the quality of the food and was still going to charge me». Not even an offer to exchange it for something else!(I don’t know what«quality» they«stand behind», but I would of gotten a better meal from a dumpster!) It’s apparent that ownership has alot to learn about customer service. They should remind themselves that there is a ton of competition out there.

Huge selection of specialty slices, their regular slices are one of the best around, and they have amazing chicken rolls and heroes. Pretty much anything they make with their house marinara sauce is amazing, they just have a great red sauce. I highly recommend the baked ziti slice, the chicken rolls, chicken parm hero, and veal parm meal with linguini. I order delivery from here fairly regularly.

Hate to downgrade, but our latest experience with the regular and Sicilian pies ordered for delivery has been terrible. I know that most food when delivered tastes a bit different from when you eat it at a restaurant and part of it has to do with the experience of eating out itself which provides a lot more pleasure than just eating delivered food at home, and part of it has to do with pure science of the food becoming more humid, etc after it’s been packaged, however, it was day and night. The cheese was just too gooey, the sauce tasted like it came from a supermarket can, my kids plain refused to eat it and they love pizza! They still like to come to the Villa after school to grab a slice, but we have stopped take-out and delivery from here, it seems that the only slice that holds up well is the Chicken Caesar which Villa does really well. Dear Villa, please try to figure out what goes wrong with the delivered pies!

The best chicken cacciatore(on the bone) anywhere. Very accomodating for special requests. Home made marinara sauce, fabulous little necks(whole) oreganato. Very Neopolitan cuisine. Large portions, good prices.

Stopped by recently as I was in the area and craving a slice and I was a little let down, perhaps it was an off day? It just seemed not as good or as fresh as it had been in the past? I’ll give it another try and see how it goes.

Everyone thinks their local place has the best pizza in the world, I’m no different. It’s crispy and delicious! Tons of awesome variety pizzas here; buffalo chicken, chicken marsala, chicken francese, calimari, caesar salad, baked ziti, pepperoni… I could go on. All of this stuff is on pizza. I’m a huge chicken roll/buffalo chicken pizza fan at Villa Formia. Absolutely delicious. Bonus points if you go to Villa Formia for pizza and then immediately go to neighboring Sen’s Garden for chinese food :)

Definitely in the top 5 independent pizzerias i’ve been to. The sit-down service is not very elegant, but the food is pretty good and the pizza itself is great. There are about seven pizzerias near to this one in Oceanside, NY. I would recommend Villa over all of them for pizza(by the slice or pies). Villa is pretty creative in its slice designs. I recall it being the first pizzeria in the area to try such things as a baked ziti pizza and caesar salad pizza. They have lots of other variations(always already made, so no waiting). In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with a pie from Villa… especially if you’re in the mood for something a bit more outside of the box than a cheese or grandma slice.

Another strip mall pizza place but with a decent chicken roll. The pizza is decent enough but I’d rather get one of their chicken rolls. They have surprisingly comfortable booths so it’s actually worth sitting down to eat rather than taking it home. Then again, they’re busier than you would expect so that’s easier said than done.
