So I guess this is a better tasting and cheaper version of Panera Bread. I had a half sandwich and half salad. Both were good but not amazing… It still felt as though I was eating at a chain restaurant, and I much prefer mom & pops. But as the first two places we tried to go to were closed, this was good enough.

If you have a decent MacAlister’s near you, this one is just like most of the others. It’s clean, the prices are decent, the tea is good (for those who like tea – and you can buy it by the gallon, as well as lemonade by the gallon too!) and the food is pretty good.
I like the baked potatoes, which don’t let them fool you – they aren’t one big huge potato – it’s usually two cut open and put together to look like it. But they taste good. They have good sammiches too. Love sammiches sometimes.
Usually grab it to go, but we’ve eaten there before. Been times we’d have to wait a long time to get served, but they were always nice and brought it to the table and packed it up nice even when it was to go.
Wheelchair accessibility is easy and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

This place is fabulous! I love a good Reuben but I’m kind of picky about them. The meat has to be juicy and not too fatty, the bread should be firm and stand up to the meat and theirs is both! I always order heavy sauerkraut and I got it. The potato salad and coleslaw are fresh and flavorful. My husband had the New Yorker and he loved it. They also have a great selection of baked potatoes with various toppings. The line was out the door on a Saturday afternoon but well worth the wait. We will definitely return to try out the salads and a few more sandwiches.

Always a great sandwich, always fresh and BIG, even a small sandwich is more than I can eat. Cannot speak to their soup as I have not tried it. If your up for a sandwich I recommend.

First time visit at this location Saturday lunch hour December 2014. Taking the order was slower than expected compared to other McAllister locations but food was to have it delivered very promptly. We enjoyed a choose two, ½ sandwich and a cup of soup with chips.

Love this place, food is always perfect. Broccoli cheese soup is my favorite!
Service is much better… there are a couple of folks that have been there awhile that are starting to figure out I am a regular and so they always ask if they can fill up my teacup! Love their iced tea best in the world!

Love the food. Best sweet tea in Texas! One of my favorite restaurants in Odessa you can’t be there sweet iced tea on a hot summer day so cool and refreshing!
