The pizza is always good. The service is fine consistently. However this last time I was there, a young man and woman were kissing and fondling in full view in the kitchen. Not just a quick kiss but a long drawn out production. Be professional and keep those activities out of the kitchen! If I was rating only pizza it would have been 5 stars!

Alright, so, if you’re in Texas, and you know about Jersey pizza, or think you do, or maybe possibly think you know about New York pizza(for the record, not the same thing) then you really need to come on down to Jersey Girl’s. I came here directly from Jersey(via Nashville, TN) and I have to say, this pizza stands up against the best pizzas I’ve had in Jersey. Maybe not better, but certainly comparable. If you don’t know about Jersey pizza… It’s time to learn! Busy place, even before noon on a Tuesday… Great prices and friendly staff too! Really happy it came up first in the list of Odessa Restaurants on Unilocal! What a great semi-random stop!

Overall, I’ll give it a 3.7 star rating. I had the Calzone it’s good but nothing to write home about or bring me back. Great atmosphere but I prefer great food. Friendly staff. You get plenty of food for the price but again I’d prefer quality over quantity. This will probably be the best pizza in town.

The service was unfriendly and they should recommend away from ordering pizza by the slice. Over cooked and not as good as whole pie slice I’d imagine. Just not a very friendly atmosphere. Won’t eat here again. Update: Kudos to biz owner to care enough to reach out for more details. I explained I was sure their whole pie was delicious but I’d eat sub par with great service. Service is a must. I would recommend trying and see for yourself.

As a Jersey girl, I felt compelled to eat at this place. As a calzone enthusiast from college(I used to eat one at least once a week), I felt the need to order a calzone. And BOY am I glad I did. I ordered a house salad($ 3 for ultra fresh veggies, yes please!) and a Hawaiian calzone that was double the size of my face. Intimidated yet overjoyed, I delved into it and it was so amazing. It was a pillow of cheesy goodness, and the banana peppers complemented the pineapples & ham so well. It was the best calzone I had to date… the bread, my goodness, was full of great flavor and cooked to perfection. As you can see, I can go on and on about it. Instead of listening to me, you should give it a try yourself! The interior is charming too. With booths and colorful benches, it shares an ambiance of playfulness and cheer. Definitely a casual place, there are writings on the wall by the booths written from past pizza-lovers. The walls are also decorated with fun NJ posters, which is a plus. Teak & Charlie’s, you made the Jersey in me proud! Go here, because they will make you an offer you can’t refuse…

One of my all-time favorite places to eat lunch from when I worked in Odessa(2009 – 2014). Excellent pizza! Wonderful sandwiches! Sensational smoothies! Plenty of glorious vegetarian-friendly options. The restroom is a one-seater, & is in back behind the kitchen, but they do a great job of maintaining it. The atmosphere is good for reading, since it’s not too loud, & it’s well-lit. They also have some TVs for news, sports, &/or weather updates. Sometimes they may get busy, but they are usually very efficient when getting out your order.

Pretty solid pizza. Actually having Jersey style pizza from going to the Jersey Shore, this pizza is pretty good but it is slightly different in comparison to the boardwalk style pizzas that Georgio’s has around Sea Isle, NJ or the very big slices from Lorenzo’s in Philly on South St. However, the pizza here is still excellent. Great service here. Now for the pros: –NYC style pizza… Best style hands down. –Served very fresh, hot out of the oven. –Very BIG slices if you went by the slice. –Filling. Literally, one could easily fill you up. –Easy ordering system put in place where the staff works in sync with the customers. Ordering the pizza was easy and having them serve you the pizza or calling your name out makes it easy to get your food. –Beautiful atmosphere. Families and individuals can come eat here. I came here suited up and I just enjoyed the versatility of the location when it comes to seeing different faces. –Fresh ingredients. –Awesome service(thanks Laura for taking my order). Cons: –These guys seem to get a lot of work so when it comes to getting served, it can take a bit. Does this take anything away? As a fast food spot, it can. Upside though is at least they don’t cook up pizzas that are left out just to be reheated like MOST places do. This part makes this spot a go to as everything is cooked freshly. Just warning everyone though, the wait can be long. –Personally, I loved how nongreasy the pizza was here. One thing I would personally change just to add more kick to the pizza is an abundance of cheese. I think more cheese would ideally make every slice just mesmerizing. I just felt that this minor thing will literally make this an ideal Jersey style pizza. Everything else tastes and feels right. I will definitely come back to this spot. Hopefully nobody here spits on my food after this review! Lol Just kidding.

I originally ended up at some other pizza joint here in the BFE that is Midland but they were closed and I really wanted pizza so I drove 15 miles to this place. The staff is friendly and the food is good. I ordered an 18″ Hawaiian so I could stretch it for a few days while I’m out here working. It was enormous, only two pieces had crust that was a little over done and of course those were the pieces I happened to eat first and after two slices I was stuffed! Very happy that I stumbled upon this place, since I come out here a few times a year I’ll be back. Plus the guy making the pizza was cute so that’s always a plus ;)

Went a few weeks back and was not impressed. It seemed sort of doughy. I decided to give them another opportunity to wow so I went back about 10 days ago. I asked them to leave the pizza in the oven and give it a little char… and that made all the difference. This is the best pizza in Odessa — it’s not cheap but you get what you pay for right? Their toppings include fresh mozzarella and that is the mark of the real deal for me :) Enjoy

Found this spot on Unilocal.Great environment, nice people and good food. In Midland/Odessa for work and came with a cousin. Not great for large groups, but very quaint environment. Our calzones were rediculous huge! I could only make it through half but the cousin went for most of it. Good luck to him later. Haha! I probably would ask for it well done next time. A little doughy. Great selection. They will turn any pie into a calzone or vice versa. Would definitely come back and reccomend it to everyone!

This is like an odessan favorite. These guys have been around for a while and for good reason. They serve a slice of pizza as big as your face. Not to mention it’s good pizza too at a reasonable price. The employees are friendly and they work fast. The only draw back is the space gets crowded fast.

All I have to say is «try the specially pizzas». Just do it. Some may sound strange. They are delicious. Your taste buds will thank you for your adventurous ways. I just devoured a triple PST with the wife. She said«I keep meaning to throw the crusts down because I don’t need all that bread, but it’s too delicious.» I think that says it all. She’s tiny… and usually eats one piece, not this time. Great place with great staff, always polite and quick to take care of you. That’s a rarity in Odessa, TX.

First time in Odessa staying at a hotel nearby and popped up on Unilocal search(my go to when traveling and looking for someplace to eat). Take out order from a fairly nondescript strip mall location but extremely friendly over the phone and when I walked in. Ordered: — house salad– very big salad with fresh and plentiful lettuce, tomato, olives, mushrooms etc — bone in chicken wings– served in a somewhat spicy sauce… I usually like my wings more on the drier side but these were tasty — Meat Lovers pizza– 14 inch and loaded with meat. Plenty of leftovers Definitely a place I would return to… much more on the menu.

great pizza! my husband is from the north east and is half Italian and this is the only pizza he will eat in the Permian. We get the bacon and white pizzas and we are never disappointed. The staff is always really nice and compensates for mistakes they make. You can’t go wrong with this place! Its worth the drive from Midland!

The first time there, the hubs and I checked out their menu, placed an order and didn’t receive the free garlic knots but the dudes behind us got theirs. What’s up with that??! LOL We ordered a large pie with pepperoni and mushrooms and it was huge. The pizza is very good. I appreciate that they use high-quality cheese and their sauce isn’t sweet and the pepperoni is also of good quality. Definitely the best pizza I’ve had in this area and this has become the place to get pizza for us. They’re also consistent in terms of quality and service(we’ve already been here 3x).

I ordered the veggie pizza and it was so delicious! I would say even better than a New York slice. The veggies were so fresh and the ratio of cheese/sauce was perfect! The crust was crispy on the outside yet soft and yummy on the inside. The staff was very friendly, they greeted every customer as they walked in. I had a wonderful evening and will definitely be returning soon.

This is an updated review for Jersey Girl’s pizza(we had only had calzones before). If you order a pizza slice, it is quite large with a thin crust. We had pepperoni, sausage, and olives and it was fresh, hot and very good. Caprese salad with mozzerella slices, tomatoes and basil was good too. They have re-arranged the layout of the place to include a little more seating. Personally I wish they would not have TV’s on in the place. I hardly ever watch TV and don’t like to see TV’s playing in restaurants. That is just my personal preference though.

The staff is upbeat and friendly. which is very rare to see in Odessa. You order and seat yourself. The pizza is huge and good. I came in here because there was a GROUPON I had purchased. They have a couple of small flat screens in the dining area.
