Great place over all. Waitress Christie was super nice and attentive. The place was not very busy at all. But the food was good. I had the chicken parmigiana with penne pasta. The pasta was slightly over cooked but not mushy. The sauce was definitely house made and very flavorful. I could see the fresh vegetables and the hint of wine for flavor. I will definitely return.

This is a great little red sauce joint. The food is good, traditional Italian fare. The wine list is decent sized and very affordable. This is not gourmet. Do not expect tapas and a maitre de. This could very well be your new family Italian joint or casual date place. I will be back.

A party of 5 ate there tonight. All were pleased with their food choices. I am a snob when it comes to red sauce and I really liked theirs. Service was very good and the manager even came over to check on us. I did happen to be reading the Unilocal reports at the time. LOL. Prices are on par with everyone else in this area. I am looking forward to trying their buffet on a lunch visit in the future. I will recommend this to my friends. I worry for anyone that starts a business in this facility as its location is a killer it seems. On a Saturday evening the most we saw was 4 tables occupied. They need some strong marketing. I only give a 5 rating to places that have that extra little pop.

The food is not good. Only one waitress so we had to wait for refills of our drinks. This restaurant made me consider opening my own restaurant… If they can do it, I should be a 5 star!

Had dinner with my husband here tonight. The best I can say was it wasn’t bad. I tried to order cheese cannelloni with Alfredo sauce, according to the menu you can order the cheese cannelloni with your choice of sauce. The waitress then told me the cheese cannelloni only comes with red sauce. I ordered penne with vodka sauce. It was bland and really had no flavor. My husband ordered chicken parm. The chicken was overcooked on the ends and the sauce was flavorless according to him. Needless to say I doubt we will bother to go back.

I want to be fair to the establishment. One star was for tonights dining experience. Ive gone there twice for take out and waited in the bar for the food, and have never had a bad thought about the place. Tonight, Friday evening I took my three boys and wife there to eat in. The place was sparsely occupied but there was a party in a back room. we arrived at about 8:00. Our waiter, was the only waiter in the dining room. there were about 4 tables seated when we got there. He was young and inexperienced. It took him a while to get our drink order, and it arrived piece meal. He took our orders which were an appetizer for one kid, 2 small pizzas for the other two, and entrees for my wife and I. We were on our second drinks before our bread arrived at the table. Then salads arrived a bit later, then the two pizzas. They were mostly done with the pizzas and we were the only diners left in the room. My wife was waiting on her soda refill. We asked for the manager, and he finally arrived with our entrees and sons cheese sticks. An hour into the evening. He told us our ticket was on the house. In the end it cost the restaurant about $ 70 worth of business. We tipped the waiter, but he barely earned his keep here also. Apparently the kitchen had issues prioritizing the orders. Our waiter should have been more attentive. Don’t avoid a slow table. Keep us in drinks and bread at the minimum. I am a fan of this places menu. Their food is South Jersey/Philly centric. Perfect for my wife. I get it that the city is screwing them over and is partially to blame for their slow business. The city of OFallon will not or can not issue them a permit to put up a sign. The business is hidden away and if you don’t know about it, you will pass it by.

Restaurant was very clean. I liked the ceiling tiles. Good menu selection. Lighting good, music was very soft.

I always hope for a good quality restaurant to go into this location, but it never does. If a restaurant is ever going to truly succeed here, they need to knock people’s socks off with amazing food. Amore is solidly good, but unamazing. For appetizer, I had fried mushrooms with marinara. The breading on the mushrooms was burnt and the inside was dried out. Not very good at all. For entrée I had chicken marsala. It was a good quality marsala, but not amazing. The sauce had some weird white flecks in it. It looked like the chef attempted to thicken the sauce by adding some flour and it clumped. But overall, it was OK. The waiter was very attentive. Of course we were the only two people in the place at 5pm on a Saturday. I wish this place was amazing, but it is not.

Had a fairly large group with us, and had a chance to sample quite a bit. Pizza surpassed my expectations, they use tons of cheese. Ravioli and lasagna got good reviews from my group. Pasta’s that were not stuffed were just plain. Not bad, just plain. Nice family atmosphere and reasonable prices. Will be back to try a few more things out. Have a feeling this place is trying to be all things, when they can probably carve out a nice niche with their strongest dishes. Well worth a trip, if you haven’t tried it yet.

Have eaten here twice. First time I enjoyed a meatball sandwich which was excellent and inexpensive. The return trip was disappointing. We experienced cold food, overcooked chicken, long wait time(considering restaurant was near empty). Stick to the east coast sandwiches.

Cute restaurant with great food. I had the toasted ravioli and lobster and shrimp ravioli with vodka sauce. Waitress was very friendly and staff went out of their way to make sure I enjoyed my meal. Nice wine list, but only a few can be ordered by the glass.

Great place for quick lunch or relaxing dinner. Everything is freshly prepared & drinks are included with buffet. Lasagna tastes like Grandma used to make. Don’t waste your time on fast food, eat a full lunch buffet for about the same price.
