My husband and I love love love this place. The omlettes are nice a fluffy and stuffed with whatever you want I had the Redneccker… Lmao! There are over 40 different combination. The best part is the give you a half a english muffins and lemon poppy seed slice of cake with the Best strawberry freezer jam! Omg the jam is soo good. We bought 5 and 2 lemon cakes to take home. The staff is very friendly and we enjoyed it so much we went 2x. One of my favorite place in this town.

Good meal! Service was good. Place is small, but when you see the omelet, it doesn’t matter anymore.

If you like being cramped into someone’s basement, getting unsmiling bad service, mediocre food and paying top dollar then please go to this place. You won’t see us there again, you’ll get better atmosphere, better service, better food and a fair price at Congdon’s or the Maine Diner.

WOW What a place!!! First off 40 omelettes on the menu is crazy. I had a western the first morning, and my wife had a standard breakfast. The wait staff was amazing. Donovan and Donette are the most genuine people and so friendly. They made my wife a special Jamaican breakfast our 2nd day in Maine. The french toast was so good, thick toast, cinnamon, and not too sweet. We can’t wait to go back and see everyone and have a great breakfast!!!

I went to this place while on vacation a couple times and it wasn’t really the best place. There is not a lot of room, so you’re a little squished. It’s also a bit smelly. My pancakes were burned, but the bacon and orange juice weren’t too bad. I don’t plan on coming back here.

The best omelette I have ever had along with a piece of incredibly awesome home-made sweet bread and an English muffin.

Delicious, filling breakfast before a day of surfing. Try any omelette with the homemade sweetbread, you can’t go wrong. Lovely service too!

This was a delicious breakfast! The omelette factory was walking distance from the motel we were staying at. I had the burrito supreme the first morning in Ogunquit, it was so good we had to come back for breakfast again on the second day. Both days we were seated quickly and enjoying our breakfasts in no time. Definitely would recommend coming here!

The food was okay nothing to brag about. Almost $ 10 for an omelette is a bit much when it’s an average omelette. The atmosphere was cool, waitress was a lil forgetful but very pleasant. We left a way above average tip. It was a lil packed for 4th July weekend! I wouldn’t recommend.(Not a good value for your money) there several breakfast spots in any direction

Very good omelette, not good coffee. Also, when paying the bill, the man at the register shorted me $ 10. I hope it was an honest mistake.

After eating an entire day’s worth of lobster rolls, crab rolls, steamed lobster, mussels, clams, and wine, I woke up the next morning wanting nothing but a nice American breakfast. It was a little walk away from most of the foot traffic on Shore Road & Main Street, but it’s a nice and enjoyable walk. You might miss the restaurant, because it is hidden and camouflages so well among the neighboring homes. We were actually hesitant about entering Omelette Factory because it does look a little sketchy… But reading through other Unilocalers’ experiences was reassuring, so we took the leap of faith and stepped in. I’d like to say that it’s a well-kept town secret. It’s very low key and all the patrons seemed to be from the area. They have a huge variety of omelets, eggs benedict, fried eggs, stuffed french toast, alongside other little sides. We got a slice of their stuffed french toast, two fried eggs sunny side up, and their vegetable omelet. They sell their french toast in slices, because their«slices» are about the same size as the normal size of a NYC french toast. They stuff it with cream cheese, which gives the dish a little bit of chew. But it was not my favorite, because the cream cheese filling ends up solidifying half way through, so the second half of your french toast won’t be nearly as enjoyable. AND, nothing can beat brie cheese stuffed french toast. Their omelets are so damn fluffy! Their vegetarian omelet is packed with zucchini, spinach, onions, and olives, with a side of home fries, buttered English muffin, and a slice of corn bread. It’s a lot to eat, but I made it to the finish line. The home fries are cut into decent sized cubes and aren’t soggy. They are crispy and pan-fried to perfection. The food at Omelet Factory is wayyyyy better than the typical diner omelets. They also provide their home-made jams. So damn good. I would go back to Omelet Factory the next time I am back in Ogunquit!

Review solely based on the lobster omelette and the fact the it is customizable. Will try it again tomorrow but going to add spinach and onions. Friendly staff. Also, their French toast is huge!

Pros: Really yummy omelettes! Like really good. I get the same one every time I go. I forget the name, but it has cream cheese, bananas and honey… so good. This is not a fancy place, but that’s fine. The proportions are generous. Cons: The place is in a cramped basement, it’s really small, so small we can’t go if we have our kids, but then again, I don’t think it’s super kid friendly. The service is not fabulous, so don’t expect it when you go. I don’t like that they really only have strawberry jelly, that is a big con for me. The sweet bread is hit or miss, but I think it’s based on your taste, I think they make different ones each day.

This place is really a hole in the wall. It’s kinda tight in there, but you’ll get a seat. The food was decent and good proportions. Not singling this place out, but everywhere I went in Ogunquit, they didn’t have Splenda. Not sure what that was about.

The omelets are good but the place overall is nothing special. My omelet felt greasy and the coffee wasn’t good. I wouldn’t be back.

Ya know? It’s just ok. My food was NOT greasy. The portion size was good. The service was friendly(thanks, Karen) and the owners were nice. I’d recommend this places, yes, but NO place in this tourist town has phenomenal food that I’ve tried. On par with Maine diner, congdons, egg & I. It’s all the same fare. If you want Benedict go to bintliffs if you want quiche or frittata-bintliffs, or, keep driving…

Pros: Delicious, gigantic, perfectly prepared omelets with a huge variety of stuffings. Cons: Service is a little slack. Owner and waitress more interested in chatting than getting a check together or being sure a table is completely taken care of. Maybes: In a basement – once upon a time someone’s rumpus room. Bright, but low ceilinged and cramped. On the menu, when they say«served with a slice of sweet bread» they don’t mean thymus or pancreas – they mean cake.

This is one of those places where judging from the outside, you’re not too excited to go in, but you do anyway and you’re not disappointed with the result. Cute little shack-like restaurant sort of on the outskirts of the busy area of town. The first time I came here it was really busy(good sign) and I just watched in aww as the chefs cracked the eggs so fast, it was crazy. I came here again at a quieter time. Even though there was hardly anyone in the place, my friend and I were seated in the back area by ourselves which is nice. So many times you go to restaurants and they seat you on top of each other because its easier for them. It was also good we were in the back because some of their staff is ahem, a little loud and brash when«talking» and it was pretty roudy in the front(especially for only having a few guests!) But I digress. Their food is awesome and they give you huge portion sizes. Perfect place to go if you’re going outlet shopping that day — you can fill up at breakfast and skip lunch.
