Went today for lunch. Chicken Cobb salad decent. I advise patrons to sit at bar and watch their cocktails being made, if ordering anything other than beer. Barmaids are cheating customers when it comes to their drinks. If they are doing this with cocktails, they are doing the same to wine. I am a barmaid from New York.

Impressed with my first visit here. It was Father’s Day and the parking lot was jam-packed. Even so, seating was immediate and seating was fast. My girlfriend has food allergies so we called ahead and asked if there were options for no seasoning/butter/etc. and they provided this where others could not. My friend ordered the chicken avocado club, which looked delicious. He said that it’s his staple and he was raving about it the whole time. I ordered a massive prime rib. The creamy horseradish sauce was strong enough to the point where I paid for slathering too much of it on a few bites and it literally rebooted my brain. Just how I like it. Oh, almost forgot. The croissants that for some reason just come with the house salads are amazing pillowy heaven and I don’t even like croissants.

Went there to have lunch with my daughter. I was so happy with the food and the service from the wait staff. Both our dish came out hot and taste. Would always come back again. The only thing I have to complain is the cold air conditioning. It was a little too cold.

We made reservations and ate here last Saturday. My mom loves Charleston’s and must eat out here with the whole family every time we go to Oklahoma. The service is always outstanding. This time I had the salmon which was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend it! My mom had the tilapia which was a tad overcooked but tasted great with some lemon and sauce. Everybody loved their food. I recommend ordering extra croissants. They are sooooooo mouth watering. The appetizers were excellent. We had the artichoke dip. This place is worth it! I just wish they would offer sweet tea. You have to have sweet tea when you visit Oklahoma!

The reuben was great but wanted an old fashioned cocktail prior. I should have stuck with beer… Atmosphere and service were great but I don’t recommend the bar. First drink had granulated sugar piled at the bottom. The second was made with simple syrup but was so sweet I couldn’t drink it.

Delicious and generous portions. Loved the batter on the chicken tenders. We really enjoyed the comfort food they offered. We’ll visit again should we be in town again.

Charleston’s has always been a top place for my family. Both of my grandfathers loved to eat here when they were alive, and I still come here from time to time to meet my grandmother for lunch. But mostly, we used Charleston’s as an easy place for takeout, especially since the baby came and it’s harder to cook. They have their takeout system down pat and it is always perfect. They never forget anything or get your order wrong, and the food is as piping hot and fresh as to go food can possibly be. So why not five stars? Because I don’t see any of the Hal Smith restaurants doing much good in our community. Correct me if I’m wrong, but they have so many great restaurants in the area, and OKC is largely responsible for supporting their 14 concepts so they could grow and become bigger regionally, but I never see them donating food to any local events, like this weekend’s Big Brothers Big Sisters benefit, Taste of OKC. I prefer to give my money to those who are giving back to our community in a big way, and I’m going to do a better job of letting my dollars reflect my values, even if their take out is delicious and easy.

I Have been to some of the best restaurants in the United States, France, South America and the Caribbean but the service I have recieved on both visits to this Charlestons Restaurant on NW Expressway has been above and beyond. The food is also top notch and the facility is always clean from the parking lot to the bathroom. This is now my go to place when the head honchos come to town

Usually have really great service… of course getting it to go really shouldn’t count, but it does! Good home style food, decent prices and a great casual/dressy atmosphere(depending on your mood). Came in tonight to eat by myself at the bar and well… if you’re single you may wait a little longer for your food. Also, I only ordered an appetizer(Shrimpcargot) and honestly, a little too salty for my tastes. Otherwise, their food is usually spot one — pork chops, chicken and the crescent rolls are always excellent! Having the bread pudding for dessert… Can’t wait!

Four of us dined there last night. We were not dissapointed. The atmosphere was casual, albeit a little too loud for my liking. However, the food was good. I had the grilled sea bass with apple/mango salsa. Superb! The French dip sandwich was good, but my husband said that it was only good enough for a one-time try. He said he wouldn’t order it again. The steak that was ordered was cooked to perfection(med rare) and the chicken piccata was very tasty. we also ordered the spinach dip. It was very decent. I mean– it IS a spinach dip. Pretty hard to mess up! the server was very kind and attentive. If we are ever in the area again, we will probably return for dinner.

Lunch with co-workers? Come here!(even better if the company pays) I don’t even know where to begin, everything is delicious! I’ve had the spinach artichoke dip appetizer several times and it’s always very good — warm, gooey deliciousness served with salsa and chips — yum! My favorite entrée is probably the«Today’s Fresh Fish» which is often a tilapia, and I substitute the vegetables that it comes with for their sweet glazed carrots. The Cesar salad is always good too, and it’s served with the best croissant you’ve ever had. The Chicken Piccata is also good, and I’ve never had it personally but the people say wonderful things about the Walt’s Champagne Chicken Salad. Just make sure you are hungry — their lunch portions are generous!

So I wanted a French Dip, and I rumor on the interwebs was this is the place to go to, so I went! I was greater promptly(must be my eyes) and seated. Waitress was super nice, I ordered, and she recommended I try their baked potato soup. Amazing, then the main course came out. Apparently Charleston’s has magic in the kitchen and they sprinkle it on their French Dip because it was out of this world. The cheese was gooey, it came with some horseradish spread, and the au jus was great! Overall great experience!
