Great staff, great fun, great drinks! Easier to get into some nights than others. gets real busy some nights but for good reason. Fun for the whole family. Definitely worth checking out and staying a while. I’d suggest finding off times to go though to give yourself more time for activities.

First time to visit as a guest of a birthday party. Bowling lanes and Laser Tag are pretty cool for the kids. Although not too keen on liquor bar for parents to get toasted while kids are playing. Clean place. Servers visited group often. Video games a little pricey, but I would go back again.

Very fun, but expensive if you have a bunch of kids. My favorite is Laser Tag, because I ROCKATIT.

Our first time here, place was very clean– much better than I expected. We were here for several hours, and had fun. We had interactions with four members of the staff here, and only one was friendly and helpful(one of the greeters at the front) We paid for laser tag and asked the cashier about bowling, and all she said was, «I don’t handle that.» No direction on where to go or anything more. So, fine, we were happy to spend less money because the staff hates their jobs and couldn’t be bothered to provide additional information

Frankly, it’s a shiny turd. It looks all bright and flashy and fun, but once you get past all the literal bells and whistles, you realize you walk out of there with a lot less cash in your pocket than you intended. They have a lot of different packages for birthday parties and they tease you with things like a $ 5 or $ 10 game card included for each participant, but each of their video games, while upscale, costs around $ 1.50, so that really only translates to playing a few games. We played laser tag and it was no comparison to other local laser tag businesses. The equipment was cheap, had to hold the laser with both hands, game often interrupted by vocals coming from the pack, the person who launched our game said, «watch the video for instructions» but by the time we got suited up and able to pay attention, the video was half over so you had to figure out how the lasers worked on your own. The arena was pretty basic, a bunch of barriers and some florescent highlights splashed about here and there. Where they really get you is in the food prices. You can’t bring in your own food and their prices aren’t very reasonable. Sure, it’s a fun place, but don’t expect to feel as though you got satisfactory value from the money you’ll end up spending.

I emailed the district manager & there was never a reply. It seems as though these people reply to your Unilocal so they can make it appear that they care, but they don’t! Don’t waste your money here! Go where you are appreciated!

Really fun place to take the family. Food is very good and I think they have a better selection of things to do than Dave and Busters. They have several games to play, laser tag, bowling, billiards and more. Also offer specials on different nights. Great place to have family night or a kids birthday party.

I reluctantly made another trip to Main Event. After multiple bad experiences during previous visits, including busing and waiting my own table, I chalked it up to weekend business and gave them the benefit of the doubt. But i am surprised to see that the level of service was the exact same if not worse on a weeknight. Let me start with the check in desk. After standing behind the wait here point for 5 min waiting to be helped by the 3 people dancing and talking amongst themselves, including what looked like a manager of some sort, i stepped pass the line to a employee who told me that the person to his right could help me. We shortly left the counter after check in to sit in the bar area for our 30 min wait for bowling. My group was planning on having some appetizers or a couple alcoholic beverages as we waited for a waiter to no avail in a valley of empty tables. I finally decided to return to my normal role as self waiter for our group. I should really be on the payroll by now. After a 30 min wait we headed off to our bowling lane. It was perfectly decorated with food on the floor. It looked like a partially eaten pretzel. Yum! Again we were not greeted or approached by any of the waitstaff in the bowling area. I continued taking drink orders for my group for the rest of the evening. Every time I leave I am so disappointed because this place has so much potential. The bowling lanes are the nicest in the north okc area. And the place has a great vibe and tons of ways to have fun. But it is all squandered by apathetic, untrained, and poorly managed staff. The level of customer service is dismal at best and for the price you pay it is unacceptable. Our group could have easily ordered 100s of dollars more worth of food or drinks if we had only been helped or greeted with average service. I wont be going back and I believe my opinion was shared by everyone else in the group. I also wouldn’t recommend it to any one else.

If your an adult and in the mood to be a kid again, this is the spot… When we first arrived around 830 – 9 pm it was a lot of kids running around, but it seemed like that slowly died down the later it got. I had flashbacks to when I was a child. Games were cool, but I wish they had more games/video games. The laser tag line was long, so we by passed that, but it looked like it would be fun. Bowling looked live and fun as well. It also has a restaurant and a couple more food spots in case you get hungry. If I were to go back, it would be to just go bowling. All in all it was a cool experience, I wouldn’t make a special trip out there or anything tho, unless you play games like that.

Been sitting here for at least 30 minutes waiting for a glass of water for me and my friend — waiter said he dropped our water 15 minutes ago(drinks and beers are here already) and waiting for the waiter to take half of our table’s order. He took everyone else’s order, and they got their food, we’re still waiting, we all were here at the same time… To make it even better, when we asked the bartender(he was just standing there) for some water, he literally looked at us pointed to the waiter(who was busy at that time) and said we would have to ask him…

My first trip here lasted all of 20 minutes, during which I learned a valuable lesson. Either go on a Monday for the $ 10 unlimited game play, or, if you don’t mind paying for the pricey bowling, reserve a lane ahead of time online. We went to bowl, but at 8pm on a Saturday night, there was a two hour wait for a lane… We are driving to Boulevard Bowling now :) My overall initial impression, though, was that the place would be pretty fun. Way cooler than D&Bs. The games looked great, with a huge variety for kids and adults. We’ll try this again on not a Saturday night.

I had a great time embarrassing myself bowling with my wife and son. Main Event has a fun vibe complete with bowling, videos games, laser tag, food and drinks. The facility is clean and the staff is friendly. The bowling lanes are automated and easy to use and their are numerous tv monitors broadcasting videos and sporting events. Lane lighting changes and make things interesting while an overhead monitor gives bowling advice. The video area is large with easy access to the most popular games. We came after dinner so didn’t have a chance to sample any food. We will be back for more I am sure. Get a lane reservation online and walk right past the line.

I really like the pretzel. You can get it savory with cheese and a mustard sauce or sugar and cinnamon coated with a caramel sauce. The staff is friendly as well. Bowling is fun. Laser tag is fun. Arcade games are a bit expensive, but if you don’t care about redeeming prizes, the all you can play passes are great for just playing.

Went here last night for a friends birthday. This was the first time I have ever been to a Main Event, so I did not know what to expect. We got a table right by the bar to celebrate her birthday. The waiter was nice but seemed either distracted or lost at times. But I will get to that in a moment. We all ordered our drinks and the first round got there very quickly, then we ordered our food. Not even 10 minutes later the food started coming out. There was 11 of us so I was impressed… they gave the first 3 people their food then left to what I had assumed was to grab the rest…5 minutes goes by and they delivered 2 more plates… then another 5 minutes and they finally delivered the rest of the food. I was not okay with this. But I blew it off cause they were getting pretty busy with a bus of like 50 kids that previously came in the door. My friends brother and girlfriend ordered another round of beers from a different server that delivered their food. He said he would put in the order right away. 5 minutes later our waiter came back and asked who needed to order drinks. We told him that they already put in their drink order and he said that the guy only told him that he needed to take a drink order. So they finally get their drinks. Then my boyfriend and I orders a couple more drinks. making sure to order from our waiter. 5 minutes later… nothing.10 minutes later nothing. So my boyfriend goes up to the bar asking him about our beers, thinking that maybe he got busy and forgot to put the order in. Our waiter states«Oh, I thought you guys already came up here and got them.»…ummmmm why the heck would we do that? You can see how this is going by now… So then a girl that was at the same party as us went up to the bar to ask for a drink because of the lack of getting our drinks being served to us at our table and the bartender stated«Go back to your table and your waiter will get your order.» Excuse me? But luckily for the bartender the girl was friendly and did as she was told. The food was pretty good and they have a variety of options to try. We all shared 2 orders of the Tex Mex Dip Trip. The queso and salsa was good as well as the chips. I got the boneless buffalo wings because I was not too hungry and they were decent. Mild sauce but a little dry. My boyfriend got a southwest burger. It was HUGE and messy. He ended up having to eat it with a fork which he did not like but he said it tasted good. The others got beer battered fish and chip which looked like your average fish and chips, Italian meatball sliders which looked AWESOME and they said they were really good, Strawberry Field salad… ohh it looked so yummy. Pepperoni pizza… meh…pepperoni pizza is pepperoni pizza and I will always love it. Italian pesto pizza looked pretty bomb and then BBQ chicken pizza looked like heaven. As we are finishing eating we decided that we wanted to bowl. We see that the list is getting big so her brother decided to go put us on the list. It was about 9pm at this point. The lady at the desk states that it is an hour and a half wait and that we had to pay up front to bowl… I’m sorry say what? I grew up with this guy so I can only imagine his facial express when she said that. He wasn’t having that. He talked to the manager and go our name on the list without having to pay until we actually got a lane. It was about 10 or later when we got our lane. The waitress was really nice and the bowling was fun… too dang expensive but it was fun. Good music. Other than the service from the bar/dining area everything was good. I am going to give this place another chance just to make sure it was not an off night and because I want to try the other games they have.

I book large groups for dinners and business trainings on Sunday evenings. A week before my proposed event, I called the event planner and let her know I was bringing 30 people on Sunday at 9pm. They confirmed everything, and I assumed all was well since we have previously done this here before with 150 people. Upon arriving an hour before my start time, I was told by three employees at the front door that the venue was closed for a private party. After raising my concerns, they went to the event planning office and tried to bring the planner up to speak to me. She refused even though she’s in sight of me, and continued to ignore my problem. I was left with the immediate responsibility of relocating my event for 30 people across town to Dave and Busters an hour before start time. They were super flexible and accommodating on such short notice, and salvaged the night that Main Event almost destroyed. In addition to my inconveniences, I witnessed several other customers attempt to give their patronage during what was posted as normal operating hours, they were also turned away. I will never sabotage an important night with my business clientele by booking another event here, and I warn you not to either. UPDATE: As you can see below, Main Event responded to this review, promising to make it right. I sent them my contact info and welcomed a response. It has been over one month since they made this reply, and I have never heard from anyone.

Main Event Bowling = 5 stars Main Event Food = 2 stars Main Event Wait Staff = 2 stars Main Event Bar = 2 stars Main Event Billiards = 4 stars Main Event Arcade = 3 stars Main Event Ropes Course = 5 stars Main Event Laser Tag = 5 stars Main Event is pretty fun. There is something for everyone. I like that it is open late because I’m a night owl and I get annoyed when things close at 10:00PM in OKC. I love bowling here. Comfy booth seating with table service, good shoe rentals, new screens and computer, new lanes, giant TV screens and the lighting are all great. I pay the extra money to go here over the older nearby bowling alleys. The food has been really going downhill. When we first came here the nachos and a few other apps and entrees were pretty good. The last few times we came the nachos shrunk in size considerably(but stayed the same price of course), suddenly did not come with any sour cream or guac, were light on the meat and they switched to cheap cheese. I tried some«sit down» entrees a few times and have not been impressed. The steak was no bueno. Some of the sauces on the other entrees were not seasoned at all and just plain gross. The pizza is probably the only thing I would spring for, or tentatively some apps to share if I am feeling really hungry. The gelato was all grainy and barely edible last time I tried it. The wait staff is either under-staffed or not well managed, I can’t really tell. It is really difficult to track down a server in the bowling or concourse area. When we have obtained service, it’s a long wait, and they do not check back often. The bar is pretty hopping on the weekends. It can be a long wait for a drink. Sometimes the drinks are well made, sometimes they are not. They don’t have too big of a selection but the basics are there. I really like their pool tables and setup there, but they are a little bit close together. The arcade is alright. I like the card system, I just think it is overpriced. The games are always working though, which in itself is a feat. The ropes course is indoor and it’s fun. I haven’t found a place locally that offers indoor ropes course alongside all these other activities. The laser tag activity has levels and is pretty big. All of the sets have been working and they keep track of your points, which is important to us competitive types. Plenty of fog and plenty of time to shoot your friends with«lasers.» Overall, 3 stars for a fun center that houses a bunch of activities that anyone could enjoy.

I love how clean this place really is. There isn’t a cigarette smell or that musky bowling smell. I usually come here with a group for bowling. To borrow a lane for an hour its about 40 $/hour/lane so we always come with a group of 8 and it ends up being roughly about 10 – 12 $ per hour. You will have to pay a little bit extra for shoes and socks. I like how its set up all techy and you can order food and drink so its really fun when you go with a good crowd of friends. They also have an arcade section and it looks just like dave and buster and i’m sure the games are very similar. They have tons of pool tables in cause you have to wait for a lane(we always reserve which i highly recommend!) The pizzas are great and the bartenders are friendly. Saturday nights are busy but not too crazy where you feel squished amongst strangers!

Went to this place for the first time. When I walked in everything looks amazing. They have something for all ages, as in pool tables, bowling, laser tag, video games, Gravity, etc. This place is like a Dave and Buster but way more stuff to do. The best time to go is when there is a promotion going on. If not it can get pricy pretty fast.

The bowling here is pretty cool. I’m not sure how expensive it is, because I was there for my boyfriend’s bowling league(which they have on Wednesdays). But the bowling area is niiiice. Instead of uncomfortable plastic chairs and rickety tables, they have plush booths with sturdy tables to eat on, instead of having to take your food/drink to the tables away from the lanes. The score screens are intuitive and informative. They have an extensive menu of food that is by no means amazing, but it’s fairly cheap and pretty good. The arcade area is neat but good lordy expensive. $ 1.50 for air hockey(and most other games)? Am I just old or something? Back in my day air hockey was $ 0.75. Most other places it’s a dollar now, so that extra fifty cents seems unnecessary. Fun games, none-the-less.

Went to the Main Event last night for the second time and had a good time, but there are definitely some things they need to work on. First visit: sat at the bar and ordered drinks. We already had other dinner plans, but ordered the soft pretzel as an appetizer. It was enormous! The taste and texture were perfect though and the cheese dipping sauce added some great flavor. Took the majority of the pretzel home and snacked on it another couple of days. Yum! As far as entertainment, we played some of the various arcade games. They have a nice mix of games for kids and adults and the prices vary depending on the game. Overall, it was a fun night out. Second visit: we went on a Monday night and decided to purchase the unlimited game play for $ 9.95/person. This lets you have unlimited bowling(you do have to pay $ 3.50/person for shoe rental), laser tag, shuffle board, pool, and use of the ropes course. We opted to bowl since bowling is pretty pricey($ 29/hour) the rest of the week. The sitting area for the lanes is really roomy and would accommodate quite a few people. Servers do come by to check on drink refills so that was a nice touch. After a couple of games, we were ready to move on. We played a few arcade games and then decided it was time to eat. We found some seats at the bar, and then we waited, and waited, and waited. They were really busy and only had two bartenders working. They were doing the best they could, but they really needed some help. We gave up at the bar and grabbed a table close to the pool tables and we had seen servers in that area and they seemed more responsive than the bartenders. Again, we waited, and waited, and waited. Finally, my husband suggested finishing our drinks and grabbing dinner elsewhere. Right about that time, our server walked up to take our order so we decided to stay. After getting our food, we both wished we had gone elsewhere for dinner. I ordered the Chicken Cali sandwich. The chicken was a little overcooked, but edible. It was served on their pizza flatbread and it was really dry and thick and took away from the sandwich. I got rid of the bread and just ate the chicken with a knife and fork. It was served with a side of seasoned fries. The fries were tasty, but not very crisp as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. The best thing on the plate was the pesto mayo, which was served on the sandwich and brought out as a dipping sauce for the fries. Delicious! My husband ordered the sliders and they were good, but nothing to get excited about. The slider buns were thin and toasty and I wish the chicken sandwich had been served on that bread. The sliders were served with a side of homemade potato chips that were super crisp, the perfect thickness and seasoned perfectly. They also went well with the side of pesto mayo. After dinner, we decided to finish up with some shuffle board action. It’s a nice shuffle board table, but there was one major component missing… where was the sand? There was very little sand on the table or the surrounding edges. There was a shaker for the table, but it was completely empty. Really??? How do you have a shuffle board table with so little sand? Bottom line: go for the unlimited game play on Monday’s and the arcade games any night of the week. The beer and wine selection is good and there is a bartender by the name of Lori who is top notch! Either eat ahead of time or have an alternate plan for dinner and you will have the makings of a great night out!
