First of all, the bartender was drunker than any of the patrons could’ve gotten… He could barely comprehend anything I was saying. Prices with the host were not discussed, ever, and I was surprised after the fact that you are charged per hour or as they call it «happy time». After the bartender passed out, or as the staff put it, «taking a nap», we had ZERO service.(Not that we had any in the first place.) very few patrons, smokey, and shitty music selection. Would NOT go back.

This place is pretty fun… just make sure you keep track of your drinks and maybe know how to keep bar because they don’t know what the heck they are doing ATALL. we paid $ 2 for a glass of water out of a tea kettle.

We reserved a small room for the night and had a blast. We were there for over four hours and in that time we sorted through a little more than half of their English music catalog of songs. The bartender was very friendly and nice. The staff was friendly as well. The private room was clean and the décor was cool. The amount of alcohol they serve in a shot was a little small in my opinion. But other than that, we had a great time and this is a good place to go with a group of friends. Recommend.

Well, who would have guess the only Japanese-style karaōke joint would be found in white-suburban Edmond. This town is packed with surprises. For those unfamiliar with Japanese-style karaōke. Please understand the differences between it’s American-style counter-part. At Moon Light, a group of friends rent a room with their own karaōke machine and giant big screen to read from. Fortunately, a modest bar selection is also present at the establishment. There are 3 sizes of rooms and prices vary depending on the time of day and day of the week. From 1:00 to 7:00 Monday through Thursdays prices start at $ 15 an hour. Prices jump to $ 28 after 7:00 on the weekends. So, plan your evening accordingly. My only suggestion besides lowering the prices, is to include more songs in English. There is a modest selection but after requesting more songs, management informed me that if you contact them before come in they will try and include the songs you request.

This place is tucked away inside a lot right at the back corner next to a fitness center. Who needs a fitness center whenever you can go sing and dance for an hour or two. But all in all this place is a real need for Edmond and all of Oklahoma very fun and a cultural journey waiting to happen. You can choose from your own rooms from small to medium to VIP which they’re all pretty big. If you don’t like they’re songs just call and ask them to add some songs you like and they’ll add them for you. The lady doesn’t speak good English but she will know what you want and in the end you will have a great time here
