Great food and a great atmosphere. They are really fast and the food is awesome.

Pretty good sums it up for me. I travel for work a lot and I have been to some sushi bars all over the US and abroad, from Hawaii, Florida, California, and even the Bahamas just to name a few. I find it crazy that a land locked state has some of the best sushi I have eaten. I’m a big fan of the Spyder Roll and the Firefly is damn good also. Don’t be fooled by the«fast food» façade it’s a great place for some sushi.

McDonalds could probably make better sushi. But all the flies in the restaurant really seemed to enjoy it.

Hands down the WORST sushi I have ever tried to eat. The hubs and I both walked out and left our food on the table. The rice(mush) is flavorless, the fillings(sparse) were very fishy. It is OBVIOUSLY rolled many hours(days?) before you order it. We didn’t bother complaining because we didn’t want a giftcard. Just avoid.

Was soooooo good! We got take out so not sure how dinning in would be?! But all the food was delicious!(: the lettuce wraps, rice balls, the«catcher» and«firefly» sushi was amazing! And the kung pow chicken was great! Would eat here again and again!(: only giving it 4 stars since we didnt dine in! But if the experience is great then i will give it five!(:

Fast food atmosphere. The décor is bizarre retro 70s with white plastic molded seats. No table service, wine in overpriced mini-bottles, and the sushi? Yuck!

I just want to start off by saying that I love Nhinja! I eat here several(4 – 6) times per week! It’s my goto place for a protein packed meal after the gym. I usually get the General Tso’s Chicken and Fried Rice, although almost everything I’ve eaten I like! The manager Gilbert and his team always take great care of me and have even started to recognize me as I come in… I just figured since I’m such a fan, I might as well put in a good word for anyone considering eating here. — Casey C.

This is our favorite quick dinner place. We enjoy the stir fry dishes and the reasonable price. The service is typically good(you order at the counter and they bring it out). They’ve only gotten my order wrong once, and went above and beyond on the next visit when we brought it to their attention.

This is my go to sushi chain when I need a roll! I’ve been to three OKC locations and they are all nice and clean with friendly staff and quality food! I’ve ordered ahead and picked up and stopped in for a quick lunch! Their egg drop soup is very good and you can’t go wrong with any sushi roll!

Awesome décor! The food is average, service is decent and efficient. A good hip place with decent prices for average Chinese food and sushi. We tried a few different dishes(sweet & sour, mongolian, chilli, fried rice, the firecracker, and some more.) My favorite part of my visit was the décor. I loved the hip urban Japanese vibe and the cool-looking drinks. It’s a place I wouldn’t mind grabbing a quick lunch, just to look around for a bit longer.

Nhinja is a solid place for sushi if you’re in the area and craving some. The décor inside is nice and«hip», and not overly bright or fluorescent. Service and prep are pretty speedy and friendly, and they offer you water or something else to drink while you wait(whether dining in or taking out). Dragon roll(10pc, $ 9.95)(Inside: Tempura shrimp, cucumber, avocado. Outside: Eel, avocado, eel sauce, scallions.) 4⁄5: As far as structural integrity, this roll was a-okay; it didn’t fall apart on me, but the seaweed could be more«tender» so it breaks more easily. The shrimp is fine –nothing special about it either way, but it tastes good. I can’t say I’m a fan of the cucumber that they use, because it’s a little too thick for me and causes the sushi to taste more bland that it would without. Luckily, the eel on the outside is solid. It has its own good taste, and is even better with the eel sauce and scallions, and it’s not stretchy and chewy like bad eel can be. Nhinja poppers(2pc, $ 2.25 –comes in 4 and 6 as well)(Tempura fried ice balls stuffed with salmon, comes with spicy mayo dipping sauce) 4⁄5: This can go one of two ways, depending on what you prefer. I was personally a little disappointed that it was mostly rice ball with a smidgen of salmon in the middle, but in the end the tempura fried rice ball with the spicy mayo is tasty and I viewed the bit of salmon as a little treat to get to, instead of the main point of the popper.

This is probably my favorite sushi place. It’s not over priced and I haven’t tried a roll I didn’t like. The atmosphere is casual and the service is fast.

Excellent concept — take out sushi with alcohol! The food is actually really good too and i’m picky about my sushi. The fried ice cream is the best I’ve ever had.

The food is extremely disappointing. They say they«prepare your meal fresh when you order» but my JoJo sushi roll had been premade and sitting in a cooler for hours, the rice, asparagus and steak had congealed together. Our Thunder roll with tempura shrimp was the same way. The chicken used in the fried rice was dried out and frozen. And the service was nothing to write home about. I don’t plan on returning.

Gross. That’s what comes to mind when I eat this food. I had sushi earlier and it was okay. Wasn’t anything to write home about, but it tasted fine. However, I got one of the wok meals, and I’m starving from hardly eating all day but I can’t finish this. The fried rice is nasty. I can make something better at home. The honey chicken soggy. I won’t be going back.

This place is Japanese fast food in a strip mall, but that being said is done quite well. The interior has a cartoonish style and they have a selection of sweet drinks that kids will love. They have a large selection of sushi and also the traditional Chinese dishes most Americans would expect(broccoli beef, kung pao chicken, etc). This is definitely a fun place to stop for a quick lunch.

Overall, I’ve always been really impressed with this cute little joint up north. I like the clean, hip décor and the ordering setup. Order in line but they bring it out to you, all the soy, sauces, chopsticks, etc. are self service. A few helpful folks can be flagged down when if you need something. Well, you know I never send anything back, but on Sunday, I had cause to. Or at least I believe I had cause to. I ordered the Geisha Roll(tempura shrimp, avocado, cream cheese, tempura flakes, spicy mayo and eel sauce). For some bizarre reason, there was something in it that tasted like banana to me. There is nothing banana on their menu(I checked because I thought they might be using the same tempura oil to do bananas as the shrimp in my roll, but they don’t do bananas tempura). I don’t like banana, and can taste the slightest hint, probably due to a horrible, fake-banana flavored medicine I had to take when I was a kid. Who knows, maybe it was all in my head, but I couldn’t eat the roll. But they were great, and if they thought I was crazy or smoking some banana-flavored crack, they didn’t say so to my face. They took back the roll, brought me out a different roll and were really nice about it. Since the replacement roll I ordered was a few dollars cheaper than what we paid for, when the manager brought my roll out, he also gave us a little card for a free appetizer the next time. That brought what would have been a three star review up to a four. Manager Matt did a great job not making me feel like a big banana head. Mr K had the General Tso’s chicken with rice and it was really good. A big Sapporo each and a plentiful helping of edamame didn’t hurt either. Good prices, and good to know we can leave the house, eat sushi, and make it to Quail for a movie in exactly an hour(though it would be more enjoyable to not cut it quite so close). Side note to boyfriends everywhere: When we ask you to taste a bite of sushi to see if you if can pick up a hint of a flavor, slathering it in wasabi will not help your spidey sense. That is all.

Found my sushi groove in okc! Great environment, clean, fast service and very helpful staff… It is family owned also … So it can’t get any better. You can order online and they will have it ready, but they also do deliveries. Ifbyou are new to sushi try the fish lips made with yellow tail… Super mild but add thevsesame seeds it gives a little bit of texture and a nutty flavor to the mix
