I stopped in here for lunch. I must say it was a little challenging finding the door, but once I did… it was great! The service was quick. The salad had the best ginger dressing I’ve had in a long time. My California roll was very fresh an delicious. Perhaps next time I’ll try one of their different lunch specials. Tsubaki is on my radar when I’m looking for sushi!

Went to eat lunch for sushi and loved the setting of the restaurant. We were one of the first ones there for lunch and therefore didn’t have to wait too long. I ordered a sashimi/sushi combo while my sister ordered the chicken teriyaki. One thing I’ve noticed is that the portions are small. I went feeling hungry and my dish did not fill my appetite(which is why i’m only giving a 4⁄5 rating). Overall, I’d say this place may focus more on quality than quantity.

I tried this place. I have to say that it one of the best sushi place in town. I found out so far that it the best one in this side of the city. The only thing is that you have to ask for wasabi with you food. Everything is great! Will return again.

I waited an hour for my food and finally had to get it to go… they still got the order wrong. Food is good but service is terrible. I sat there for a good 40 min with no waitress ever coming by to refill my drink or acknowledge I was even still there.

Came here on a weekend at 9PM. Their sign outside says that they close at 10PM. Right when we open the door to enter into this restaurant. One of the sushi chefs immediately lets us know that they can’t serve us due to them running out of fish and rice. What if we didn’t want fish or rice? What if we got a fried item? I also don’t understand no matter how busy a sushi restaurant gets. How do they run out of something so abundant as rice? Maybe, they could have told us that they didn’t want to make anymore rice instead of telling us they ran out of rice. Running out of fish I could understand though. Anyways, when I called to speak to the manager a few days later they told us that on the weekends they tend to run out of fish and rice at around 9 and to make reservations so they could save some fish and rice for us. Why not just close at 9 and change the sign that they close at 9 instead of 10 then if they tend to run out of items at around 9? Would make more sense to me. Gave 2 stars since its in a nice gas station strip. It looked pretty clean inside, but don’t think we will ever try this place, bummer.

4.5 stars! I came here to try their spicy tuna roll(because I tried some amazing spicy tuna in Dallas(tartar) and have been looking for something like it ever since) and ended up getting the sushi & sashimi combo. When they brought it out I honestly had a flashback to when I had the opportunity to eat Sushisho Masa(a super expensive omakase experience in Japan with one of the best sushi chefs in Tokyo). The portions and cuts were so similar to what I had in Japan I literally was shocked. Though the flavours weren’t comparable… I’m thoroughly impressed with their sushi! The spicy tuna roll is pretty comparable to others in town. Better than the places that just serve tuna rolls with spicy mayo sauce on it, but not quite the spicy tuna tartar I had in dallas. I definitely plan on returning and hopefully getting to experience an omakase meal with this chef! I recommend you guys giving the sushi and sashimi combo a try ^^ This review does not reflect the hibachi grill because I did not try it.

I’ve been here two or three times, all for take-out so I can’t comment on any dine-in experience. But! The woman who always takes my order is very friendly and sweet. She even makes conversation as I wait, which I’m not entirely used to at most places. Human interaction is scary, after all. I’ve had both their hibachi style meals and their sushi. The sushi is pretty good, though nothing outstanding. It’s a good place for low price decent sushi, for sure. I really enjoyed the vegetable hibachi I got that comes with a salad, fried rice, and a soup –all of which were quite good. This place is on the way to work, so it’s somewhere I’d stop if I was feeling sushi or hibachi on my way home since they’re also open till 9:30 or so.

When it comes to fresh sushi & sashimi there is no place better in the 405. Henry is a master at preparing his sushi and it’s always amazing to see him work. If it’s busy it will take a while to get your order but trust me… ITSWORTHIT. If you are looking for heavy rolls full of thick sauce and cream cheese this is not the place for you, but if you like your fish fresh, from a crazy skilled sushi chef. This is the place for you!

If you are not an Oklahoma Local and want sushi this is not the place to go. Haven’t tried their hibachi items but this is a no-go for a sushi fix. Yuck!

This little sushi restaurant is a hidden gem. It is located next to the Valero gas station on N. MacArthur and Memorial Road. It is a family-run restaurant and the service is always excellent. I have to also mention that the lunch special cannot be beat – 2 sushi rolls, a salad, and soup for $ 10! I like to swing by and pick up to-go from here because it’s easy and the sushi is always delicious. I have tried the spicy tuna, spicy yellowtail, crunchy yellowtail, and sweet potato rolls. All have been great quality and have never smelled or tasted«fishy.»

Tonight was my first time eating there, in town visiting my parents, and I was thoroughly impressed. The sashimi was fresh and generously portioned. The sushi was well put-together, fresh, and featured a good balance between the protein and sauces. We tried 3 different special rolls, with the Godzilla and Fallen Angel being our favorites. The hibachi was also very good, with large shrimp and big lobster chunks. Even the service was quick and friendly. The pricing was a value for the quality. $ 5.5 for 6 standard rolls(e.g. spicy tuna) and $ 11 for 8 large specialty rolls. It’s rare for a sushi place, especially in Oklahoma, to be good at so much. Also: Deep. Fried. Tempura. Cheesecake!

Please do not eat here!!! I just had the lunch here and I was violently ill before I even left the parking lot. I had to go back inside as I was not able to hold down my lunch. I ordered the miso soup with a tempura roll, spicy tuna roll and shrimp/avocado roll. All that know me know that I have a stomach of steel. Please be careful if you choose to dine at this establishment.

This place used to be great, but it has turned into a turd of an experience. The food quality is and has been great, but … and here’s a big but… The service is now ridiculous. The service has turned incredibly sour, so sour that I can’t eat anything from there again.

Husband and I got a nice case of food poisoning post-visit after eating miso soup and a couple sushi rolls.

Sushi here is delicious and fresh. That and the miso soup are great! Negatives: The rolls are small and a little pricey. Don’t like the ginger dressing much; pretty sweet compared to most places. I haven’t tried the hibachi but I go for sushi. They don’t do the performances for hibachi, if that’s what you’re after.

This is quickly becoming my favorite sushi bar(I love Tokyo, don’t get me wrong). I’ve eaten here three times and never been disappointed. Lunch specials are a reasonable $ 10 – 12 for the sushi. They do not have any alcohol, but allow BYOB from the liquor store next door that keeps sake on hand. My wife loves the hibachi menu even though they do not cook at the table. I need to order the yellowtail sushi and Hotate roll(scallop roll with crab) every time I go.

This was an unexpectantly cute little place that you don’t expect in a strip mall. It is clean and well-decorated. The servers were all very friendly and helpful. I have been here twice. The first time I got my order to-go on a very cold, snowy day. The waitress gave me a cup of hot tea and it was just what I needed. My boyfriend and I came back for dinner and had an even more pleasant experience. I would give their service a 5 and the food a 3.5 for taste and 4.5 for presentation. The soba noodles were a bit salty. Overall, this is a great place for any meal. They have great lunch specials. It’s also the closest good sushi place in the area.
