I found the dine-in beverage service to be fast, and somewhat friendly. There were plenty of drink choices available, and the dining area was fairly clean. I also noticed the drive-thru lane was moving briskly. A-OK.

Just left here with 2 orders of jalepeno poppers and a hamburger. I swear the hamburger was spoiled. I took one bite and spit it out. The poppers were obviously sitting under a lamp then thrown back in the grease to heat up. They taste like gum they were so chewy. Hardees is falling downhill fast. They used to be one of my favorite fast food chains.

Food is standard to sub-standard for fast food. The last time I was here, the Frisco burger was reasonably decent, but today it was totally dried out and clearly sitting under a heat lamp a tad too long. Apple turnover I ordered for daughter was over-cooked too; the pastry was too dark and apple inside so hot it took longer for the filling to cool than it took to eat our whole meal. Cleanliness has something to be desired, high chair had Saran wrap on it with clean bib and wet naps indicating it had been cleaned, yet the seat had numerous French fries and some bun pieces on it.

If you are lucky enough to be close to one of the few remaining Hardees in the KC metro, consider stopping in. My main rave about this place is the morning breakfast biscuits! Baked fresh in the store, you can tell the difference. My fave is the Ultimate Omelet Biscuit.($ 2.39). It contains sausage, bacon and lots of cheese mixed with the egg. Biscuits are brushed with butter so they are moistened and ooze the insides when bitten. Grab the napkins. These are great for a quick on the go breakfast or a drive thru to take to the office. The burger selection has expanded to a more meaty and satisfying meal than in past years. Excellent burger for the price. Doesn’t have that«fast food» burger taste, bordering more on the Bar burger side, char broiled flavor. Its sad that these stores have dwindled to so few. When I was younger, every little town in Northern Missouri had their own Hardees, making it a teen hangout of sorts. Gives me a retro reminiscent feeling.
