I made the mistake of ordering from this place when we stayed at he Best Western on Jericho During the end of March. Once you tell them you are at the motel, they automatically assume you are a one time customer. They know you will not be back. I order the duck. The worst duck on the planet. It was fatty, very little duck and way over priced. I even called back after my original order to ask for a plate, which we never received. The delivery guy showed up with no change so he could get a larger tip. They suck!!! I should have checked Unilocal before I order.

Besides the food being cheap, it’s also chterrible. I sat down by the window to wait for my order and there were crispy yellowed newspapers from months ago sitting in the windowsill. If this is what’s in plain sight, imagine what the back looks like. I haven’t seen them for myself, but I wouldn’t doubt the Unilocal reports of bugs hanging around the joint.

this restaurant has really gone down hill. food quality has suffered and prices are expensive. i ordered fried wontons and asked for not too crispy. they were so burnt they had to be thrown out. save your money and go elsewhere for better food

DISGUSTING!!! There was a bug in my food and I’ve been waiting a couple of hours for a refund. Everytime I call it will be 20 minutes. Unbelievable. I should have read these reviews first. I saw at least two other reviews mentioning bugs. I need to throw up. Seriously. DISGUSTING!!!

Today I was enjoying lunch with my mother. I ordered Chicken with Garlic sauce and brown rice. We dined there. Halfway through my meal, I noticed a roach walking around in my bowl. I freaked out very quietly. like OMG OMG and walked away from the table. My mother grabbed what was left of the food and walked it to the counter. She told them what I saw. They proceeded to look through the bowl looking for it. They saw it. Not even an apology for the incident. she handed me my $ 6 and than my mother said, I have no intention of eating mine so they refunded that money too! I paid $ 14.xx for the lunch and they refunded $ 12. Not a big deal but she asks, soda was ok, right. she didnt want to refund the entire check. (2nd mistake). Really. What kind of management is this? The woman that works there has greasy hair which should have sent me running in the first place. will not be eating chinese for a very long time.

Do not let Chan’s appearance fool you. This place is good… very good. And it is clean, more importantly. Food is cheap and they can have a take out order ready for you in five minutes flat. Better than Noodle Town up the road, their food is awesome!
