I ordered General Zuo chicken today, it’s bad, really bad! They use chicken breast instead chicken leg meat, over fried them to make them super dry, which also disturbed my stomach. The only reason I didn’t give one star is because of their sour and spicy soup, pretty delicious.

The inside of this place stands in stark contrast to just about every single Chinese takeout place I’ve ever stepped foot in. It’s bright, white, clean and looks brand new with about six tables that seat four. They should take down the signs covering up the windows so people can see inside. I landed here on a friend’s recommendation, but may have been in sooner had I been able to see inside. The food was a notch above the other local joints in taste, quality and preparation. First time I went with Kung Pao chicken and it was good. There’s no doubt I’ll try this place again.

All I can say about this really, is that this food made me feel ill. The hot and sour soup has almost the same consistency as almost set jello. It was also so spicy, you couldn’t taste any other flavor besides the heat, and believe me… I LOVE spicy! This just really hurt my insides. There were barely any vegetables in the soup, basically jelly broth! Also had the cold noodle with sesame sauce. The sauce was extremely greasy, lacked depth of flavor. I dislike giving reviews like this but, hopefully they will take this review into consideration and make some changes.

My family only ever orders take out from China dragon. The quality is very good for take out and the flavor is great and not over the top greasy or salty. Their lunch specials are great especially when you get the side of fried rice. I never liked white rice unless it’s sticky(Korean specifically) so I can’t comment on that. But their food is better than average(and trust me I had so many shares of godawful Chinese food) and the delivery guy is very quick and friendly.

Don’t understand negative reviews, Fried pork rice one of the best I’ve eaten, not greasy and lots of vegetables & pork. Pork egg rolls crispy and delicious. Soups very tasty & entrees fresh, colorful, and fulfilling. Customer service is lacking and that’s where they come up short.

My Wife and ordered dinner from China Dragon and while she was eating her Kung Pao Chicken she found a piece of plastic bag in her rice. One of those bags that boil in rice come from. It was at least a quarter of the bag. When she called to tell them they said they’d bring her new rice, then give her a 10 percent discount on her next meal. The man on the phone never once said sorry. This is so unacceptable I can’t even begin to express how mad I am. Accidents happen in the kitchen, yes. But to not say sorry and not make it right in unreal. China Dragon has lost us as customers and I’m going to tell everyone I know who lives in the area to stop eating there.

First they charged me $ 6 extra because they refused to separate my orders. When I called back, she said she would give me a ‘credit’ for the next time i order… or i could come pick it up. I opened the order… there were NOSOUPSORSODAS with the 6LUNCHSPECIALS we ordered. Again, when I called. NOSOLUTION. I had to TELLHER to have a delivery boy come give me my soups and sodas. She told me it would be 45 mins to an hour. We finally eat… NONEOFTHERICEISCOOKED! Again, no solution offered. She said ‘she cooks the rice in the morning and thats why it’s not hot.’ I told her it had nothing to do with temperature, the rice is uncooked, it’s hard, it could be used as a weapon. She told me she cooks it in the morning and thats why it’s not hot. No joke. She just kept saying that phrase over and over. I asked for more rice and she told me it wouldn’t matter because she cooks it in the morning. LOL i can’t help but laugh, this was the absolute worst experience ordering food in my life!!!

This is the ONLY Chinese food place in Plainview that knows how to make their lo-mein EXTRA spicy. When I ask for spicy, I don’t mean throw a few pepper flakes on there, I mean throw a bunch on there. The spice is not overpowering but it’s enough to give you that«kick» that you’re looking for. The woman at the counter might seem a bit intimidating due to her attitude, but she always gets the orders right and they work fast.
