Ruby Tuesday

Came here for dinner with my family, first time I ever dined at this location because the one I used to go to in East Brunswick closed down and their food was superb. This Ruby Tuesdays was located in a depressing place, next to a Wendy’s busier then this restaurant and a half torn down Lowe’s.
I had ordered a cheeseburger with a side of french fries and the salad bar. While I waited for my food to arrive, I went to check out the salad bar only to discover they had run out of half the things offered and had no intention of refilling, including lettuce. How is one supposed to eat a salad without any lettuce? Usually my meals take 20 minutes to be prepared at the East Brunswick location but here I had to wait over 40 minutes for anything to arrive. My burger was extremely dry and overcooked as well as the steak and baby back ribs somebody else had ordered.
The only positive part of my experience was the waitress who was nice. Overall an experience that I would not want to relive and I can safely say that I have no intention of ever coming back to this Ruby Tuesdays.

I’ve been coming to this Ruby Tuesday’s with my family for years, always on Friday or Saturday nights. It’s never too crowded in my experience, but the chain has the «call ahead» services to avoid too long a wait anyway.
The food and salad bar are as good as Ruby Tuesday’s food can get– I mean that to say, it’s not going to be the best food you’ve ever had, but it’s pretty solid. It always comes in a reasonable amount of time, sometimes super quick. Of course, the salad bar is great, and one reason we choose to come here as opposed to other chains.
The service at this Ruby Tuesday’s is consistently friendly and attentive. In my memory I’ve never had a problem.
I would not come here over a non-​chain, but if you’re in the mood for the typical American chain restaurant food, this is a good option.
Also, cheap drinks.

Came here for a work lunch. I used to get the crab cakes years ago, but now they are so gross. I will not be returning to Ruby Tuesday unless I have to. The service was great though.

We waited a long time for our appetizers. 3 minutes after the appetizers arrived our meals came. Our waiter really didn’t check in on us. He was polite and when asked said the kitchen was backed up. It was a Saturday night, but not really packed. They brought us mini biscuits, that look like the Red Lobster Cheddar Bay, but were not anywhere near as good. The meal was mediocre. I will not be back.

Just had a great family dinner there tonight! Much better experience then we had in the Elizabeth location last night. Our server was awesome! She was personable, informative, and on her game! That was top notch service!!! The sangria was delicious! Friendly staff!

So I’ve been going here for a few weeks now, and honestly, I have no problems, the food was OK, the hosts were pretty good, and the price range was a bit high. Overall, it’s pretty decent.

Apper to be a lot of lazy people
Bartender just texts most of the time
Ordered a burger medium well but like a hockey puck
They apparently put the burger in the oven after they make it so the lettuce wilts
Tomatoes are green in the middle and got the end of the onion that should have been cut off

1 star bc sangria was good & waitress was good… waited 20 mins for tbl, ordered & it was cold bland & dry… haven’t been here in a whik2, figured I’d give it a try… wont be back!

We went here recently because my 9 year old insisted on going. The hostess was not too friendly, but was a young girl, probably with no training. The waitress seemed like she wished she wasn’t there, but did a good job of the service. The food was salty and dry! The grits were dry like they were made a while ago and had a crust to them. Almost everything had the parmesan sauce and that was way too salty. The only good thing was the Relaxer cocktail I ordered.

We ordered the Mexican Tortea soup. It wasn’t that good since I was expecting a thinner consistency for the soup. It was more of a gel thick soup. For a freebie the waiter gave us some little tidbit muffins. They were too dry and not enough of flavor. The place was nice and the waiter was very nice and polite. The table needed to be cleaned better. Will go back anyway because the previous time we had a very nice meal.

Went here and was ok. Drinks were good. Food was decent. Good Salad bar and the deal was good… get a meal and add open salad bar for 2.99.

Atmosphere was nice. Very friendly.

Been to this location a few times now. After this last visit, decided to write a couple things.
It seems as if they have hired a diferent chef. Maybe they just decided to change some of the entrees. Whatever it is, the two entrees at our tables weren’t the same as I’ve seen them before. They were still good, just not as good as previous. They load up the plate with fries to make the room next to the small piece of fish.
There salad bar is still very nice. Only thing there is they have switched to alot smaller plates then previous. With and entrée you get a run at the salad bar, but not the same.

Very disappointed with my visit to this restaurant tonight (17 September 2012). One dinner in a party of 8 was not prepared well and when I informed the manager he gave a serious attitude. I have never experienced such a rude attitude from wait staff before — nonetheless a manager. Do yourself a favor and visit one of the other chains nearby — bonefish, cheeseburger, olive garden or kona. Do not subject yourself to this ungodly customer service.
