I’ve shipped multiple pieces of expensive fine art all over the US always with satisfied recipients. Thank you manager Glen Anderson for the care and attention you devote to each shipment regardless of size, value or fees.

I needed an expensive, fine art painting shipped to California. It was in a glass frame and was fragile. Glen expertly packed it (without an expensive crate) and labeled it to avoid handling mishaps. It arrived in PERFECT condition. Bravo Glen!

Love, love, love Glen at Pak-​It in Old Saybrook. And his dog, Zoe, sweetheart that she is. I’m a seasonal resident and the post office both in Old Saybrook and in my winter location just cannot handle stopping, holding and/​or forwarding mail per my instructions so I have a box at Pak-​It and no mail delivery at my house. Glen gets it right every time. And I can call and tell him someone else will be picking up a package for me and there is no hassle for that person. I’m sorry the customer who wrote about UPS surcharges felt abused by the owner, whom I have never seen in Old Saybrook. Upcharges without clear disclosure are the rule at places like Office Depot, Staples, and, yes, Pak-​It. Because I assume I will be paying upcharges if I am not at an actual UPS shipping facility, I never looked for notification about them.

Well I had an interesting situation. I am in California and I wanted a set of very expensive wheels from CT. The seller didn’t want to be bothered with the normal shipping duties, but I really really wanted this set of wheels so I called Glen at Pak-​It.
I just gave him my Fedex account number and had the seller drop the wheels off. Glen took care of the rest!!! The wheels arrived two in each box with cardboard in between just like I requested. Everything went smooth and I only wish he was here in California so I didn’t have to go through my normal shipper.
Anyway Glen is a great guy and it’s hard to find people these days that care about the stuff you are shipping as much as you do. Thanks Glen!
