Wonderful Greek pizza, big fresh salads, everything we’ve ordered has been great. The prices are fair and the service is friendly. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve been going here for 38 years. It’s owned by a Greek family who lives in the house right next to the restaurant on the same property. The food is consistently good. It’s a very casual, comfortable atmosphere. The pizza is great, as are the gyros and gyro platters. While I do not partake, many members of my family swear by their fried calamari. The service is great, friendly and with a smile. They close for one month in the off-season(October) to go home to Greece. They do a tremendous business in the summer when the beach crowd returns. They also make great subs… and they’ll make anything you want, anyway you want it.

Stopped for lunch with my wife on a Saturday. Ordered the whole clam roll special, it was a large portion at a very reasonable price. The clams were fresh, plump and sweet and came with a mountain of beautiful freshly made thin onion rings. Wifey had a bacon cheesebuger that was big and loaded with good bacon. Will be back next time I’m craving fried clams!

Back to Connecticut for the summer. Really looking forward to hanging out at some of our favorite restaurants. What the hell happened to Pizza Palace? New owners, new cooks, new wait staff? We tried to enjoy this place twice in the couple of weeks we have been back. Food completely different. Not in a good way. Staff very indifferent. Sorry to say/write won’t be going back. We don’t do 3 strikes and your out.

My friend and I wanted to pick up a few sandwiches and go sit at the beach in the early evening. I remembered this pizza place I thought would have sandwiches, so we pulled in to see what they had. The menu for grinders was incredible. Not only did they have the standard turkey or roast beef or Italian grinders, they had scallops or shrinp or clams! While looking at the menu, we struck up a conversation with a gentleman waiting for his«sandwich to go.» He said EVERYTHING was great at this place! It’s a family run business, and he visits here often. We saw an order of clams/onion rings go by, and that was it!!! My friend LOVES clams, so we ended up staying there for dinner and never got to the beach! She said they were some of the best clams she’s had in a long while! She didn’t order the onion rings or fries, only clams, and she still took some home. Cost was about $ 16. I, on the other hand, I ordered their«regular» size Italian grinder and was AMAZED at the size/quality for only $ 5.95! The large grinder is only $ 7.95, and I know I would have brought half home. I will definitely be back again!

Only have had the pizza. Based on that it’s nothing special. I do want to try the clams. I hear they ate yummy!

Haven’t been here in forever… decided to order grinders the other night. Shared /split the Roast Beef and the Meatball. The roast beef grinder, although kinda lite on the meat was very tasty. The meatball wasn’t as meat shy and was tasty too. They have a greek style pizza which I haven’t had in quite some time but picking up the grinders made me want to give it another try. The place smelled great. But how many times do you walk into any pizza place where it doesn’t. I also seem to recall they do a pretty good fried clam dinner but again, haven’t had one from here in a while. The staff was very friendly.

Recommend the fried clams, onion rings and wraps. Simply the best! Pizza and grinders are not my favorite here. Friday nights plan to wait for a table. Family owned and operated.

Pizza is pretty bad and very small for the price. Very small. Better pizza at better prices less than a mile away. heard the clam strips are good though, that’s something.

A Greek pizza restaurant for fried clams? Believe it. My brother, who is as devoted to fine food as any human(besides me), FINALLY decided to take me for one of my favorite meals. We’d done the lobster and oysters, real Italian style pizzas and donuts galore. Now it was time for some down home fried steamers. He warned me that I would probably not need ANY French fries and that perhaps the full dinner might blow me away. Well, to be honest, I did bring home a large container of leftovers. The clams are served with an enormous heap of thin onion rings, lightly fried and not resembling any onion rings I’d had before. Tasty coleslaw and tartar sauce on the side and I was in heaven. These were *soft* fried clams. LARGE fried clams. WHOLE fried clams, and yes, Expensive fried clams. They actually cost more than lobster. Around here that means $ 15 or so(depending on market price), but you’ll get no complaint outta me. The restaurant is pretty standard diner fare as far as décor. People seem to know each other, and the ambiance is low key friendly. If you’re cruising the Connecticut coast, this is one spot to remember.
