I have to say the clothes are usually a good bargain and quality is good. But OMG I hate the check out! I can’t stand enduring the 10 min. monologue on why I need their store card! Even with a immediate polite decline, they go on and on and on! Terrible approach on customer service, and then the save $ 50 if you come back in 5 days or whatever, really? Makes me want to never come back.

Good sale prices, unhappy employees. Everything was OK until checkout. At checkout there was two clerks and about six people in line. Waited about 10 minutes to get checked out. A manager did approach and see the line and used his radio to ask for additional clerks. I could actually hear on the radio the other clerks say why don’t you hop on! Then the manager walked away doing absolutely nothing about the line. I was visiting from out of state. But with a family member that shops there are regular basis, that said the employees are always so miserable in that store. It’s pretty bad when the stores manager sees the line but is unwilling to hop on a register to move the line along.

So, I went in to waste some time and figured I wouldn’t find anything of interest. I never do. Well, think again! I found so much that if I had money on my credit card it wouldn’t after this visit. Shorts, skirts, dresses, shirts of nice style, fabric, color. I am not a fan of dresses but I would have worn these. Such sassy style, this ain’t your grandma’s store no more!!! And there not your typical Beall’s, they have a different vibe going on and I love it! I live in Clearwater and will drive here to shop now. Good Job guys!!!

I should not leave a department store in tears but thy is what happened today at Bealls. I spend a lot of money here as the merchandise though expensive is uniquely Florida. There are coupons and rewards which can be very complicated when paying. The cashiers don’t tell you if they can’t use your reward even if you are short by a few cents so you automatically lose a lot of money without them notifying you. Today I brought this to the attention of the cashier and was told I should have been paying attention to the screen as she rang it up, I told her she should mention when a reward wasn’t being used and Regina got insulted and refused to ring me up. Another person did and when I went back to pay for more items she refused to help. I said you refuse to help me and she said I think it best.

Good place for tennis shoes when they are on sale. The staff is courteous and eager to help. Best to go with a coupon. Be aware they don’t combine coupons like kohl’s so you have to do separate orders. Oh the bathrooms aren’t the best good in a pinch but not what you’d expect from a store like this

I used to think of BEALLS as an old person’s store. And sometimes it is, but lately they’ve had some decent buys and bargains. They’ve almost always got a sale running, and if you sign up for their credit card, you can earn Bealls bucks to earn money off of things. I did just that, earned 20% off my purchase and when the bill came, I ended up with an addtional $ 20 off my next purchase. Pretty sweet deal.

Nice full store. Staff is either hit or miss just depends on the day and time you go in. Prices are not bad either and they always seem to be running a deal on their clearance merchandise.

I was killing time waiting for a friend to get home so I decided to pop in to Bealls. I was pleasantly surprised when I realized EVERYTHING in the store was 30% off, including clearance up to 86%. Spent less than $ 100.00 and walked away with amazing deals! I’d be back for sure when I’m in the area next.

With a home base in Bradenton and a strong Florida/Tropical style in it’s inventory, you can find great sales here. It’s a department store with that kind of beachy feel. Check out their website to see exactly what inventory they have. Personally, I will always thing Beall’s first before I go to the big mall stores.
