We have been here twice, and loved it both times. Great beer selection and some food as well. The staff is friendly and the events are fun!

I stop in to the Tap House with my best friend when she gets off work at her nearby job a couple times a year. We’ve usually gone on Saturday nights during«Adult Trivia» night. We won a $ 20 gift certificate on one of these occasions. So apparently we know a lot about sex. Either that or other people don’t know anything about sex. They definitely throw you some soft balls, so I have to wonder. They have live music and sometimes it is good and sometimes it isn’t. It is a tiny little place so the acoustics are pretty terrible and when the act is screaming into the microphone it makes it hard to talk to people and hear them talk to you. The beer selection is always on point and the staff is super friendly. That’s important in your neighborhood watering hole. I’d also say that I have not been overly molested by randos here, also something you want in your neighborhood watering hole. I have had food here, the mojo pork sliders and the fries with the hot sauce on them–«sassy fries» I think they get called? Pretty good. If you don’t want fried bar food, they have menus for the nearby sushi joint and they deliver to the bar. I want to say that they have a hospitality discount night. Not sure if they are still doing that. I had a friend who was a restaurant worker and she used to enjoy that discount there. I’d ask. I guess if you care about«football» and whatnot, they usually have a game playing. They also have board games. It’s a nice little place to have a good beer and learn strange sex facts in a non-threatening atmosphere.

Amazing Pub I found on Unilocal that was walking distance from hotel. Great pub food to compliment the vast selection of tap beers, friendly staff and fun evening playing Cards Against Humanity with the local cliental. A must stop if in Oldsmar, FL.

I read all these reviews on this hidden place and decided to go there for my hubby’s birthday. I must say, I was not impressed. The menu only has a few choices, typical bar food, but not a place to go for a meal. The mozzarella sticks were great though. We each had 1 beer, mozzarella sticks and left to go somewhere else for a meal. The menu I found online had so many choices that I was very shocked when we sat down.

This is a new discovery for my husband and me. We live near Westchase, and used to frequent World of Beer. However, though the beer was always great, the clientele was just a bit too douchey for our tastes, and we always fled before it got busy. We tried the Brass Tap, which recently opened in Oldsmar, which was at least as good as WOB, maybe better. Then we found the Oldsmar Tap House. It’s on a quiet street of mixed residential and business in Oldsmar, right by City Hall(Botan Sushi is the other restaurant on the row, which I’ve reviewed before). It has a wood panelled bar(my favorite kind) and a large selection of beers on tap. It’s cozy and comfortable and decidedly non-douchey. We haven’t tried the food yet(they have typical pub snacks), and we haven’t yet been to trivia night, but we really like it, and go there about once a week. It’s quickly become our neighborhood bar.

Why did it take a beer lover like me so long to find this place? Talk about a hidden gem! I came here one Saturday night with a group of friends for trivia, not knowing what kind of place I was walking into. I quickly discovered it to be a beer drinkers heaven. So much selection! It had everything from the bitter IPA’s to the sweet Ciders. Some of the non beer drinkers in the group really enjoyed the oatmeal raisin cookie beer, something I had never tasted before. It’s not the biggest bar in the world, but on a Saturday night with a decent amount of people for trivia, it never felt too crowded. Service was excellent and the bartenders were very helpful in picking out a beer for every taste. I’ll be back for sure!

Solid wine and beer bar that not a lot of people seem to know about. We went on a Saturday night, because they had dirty trivia from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. Even with this draw it was moderately packed, and that was with our group of 10. The size of the crowd really added to the feel that this place is for the locals to hang out at. They have a lot of great beer selections. I ended up getting an Oatmeal Raisin Cookie and it was delicious. I also tried my friend’s Kelly Raspberry which was the closest to a cider they had and it was good too. Since I’m not a beer fan, I’m glad they have such a variety of flavors. They also have board games too. I love it when a restaurant or bar has board games to play. Parking here is easy, because there is nothing other than one restaurant really around this place. That also means that if you come to this area it is to go here, not to hop around to other bars during the night. This is not a dive bar. It is very clean and nice inside. I hope the locals embrace this place, because it deserves to stay afloat.

If I lived anywhere near Oldsmar, this would become my go to place. The draft beer selection is one of the best that I have seen, and they have plenty of local beers on tap. The building itself is a little hidden in terms of the main road, but it is still easy enough to get too. I went there twice last weekend and both times it was nearly empty, hopefully that is not a trend as I would to see this place do well. The bartenders were extremely knowledgeable about beer and had no problem letting us try whichever one we wanted. I am a huge fan of Cigar City and lucky for me they had just had a Cigar City Tap Takeover so there were many different beers on tap from them. I got to try a couple that I did not even see at the brewery that night. Next time I am back in the area I am going to make sure that I stop by for at least a drink

Great little pub with excellent selection of all different types of beers. They also have pretty good food and food specials. They have activity nights which are also fun and specials are great as well. This is a very solid local pub to come down and watch a game and have a few delicious beers, highly recommend it, especially if you are a beer buff.

This is an outstanding neighborhood pub Great secret(off the beaten path). The beer selection is top-notch. Bartender is very knowledgable and friendly. Fun local patrons. The menu is pub fare… however The have excellent choices that are very reasonable! Highly recommended vs big box sports bars

This place is quaint, comfortable and chock-full of beer. Outside of WOB, they surly have the largest selection in the Oldsmar-Westchase area for sure. The bartender, Mike, awesome guy! We talked about dumb shit all night while I threw back some Eau Benite. They had some live music going as well – great place and definitely a «secret hideout,» as La Chica stated.

This place has always been a nice secret hideout, but with it looking closed sometimes, and then changing hands, new management, I don’t really know what to expect anymore. I’ll be sure to try it soon and update when I can. Just hope they still have cheese/sausage trays, and games lying around. I liked that.
