Great selection of hops especially, but all other brewcessity ingredients. Racks of specialty grains and quite a few organic options. Big fan of the Double the Rye, Double the Trouble I had there on tap last visit.

I’ve stopped in a couple times and chatted with the owner. He is one of a rare breed, very knowledgeable about many different topics besides brewing and doesn’t come off as a snob or a know it all. Although a robust ego would be well justified he doesn’t come off that way at all. He’s very versed in brewing and has a sense of adventure about it. There are the usual IPA’s and pale ales on tap but there could also be a cherry wheat or saison with ginger. The guys all over the road and I like that.
To me it feels like getting to stop by a fellow homebrewer’s abode to take a peek at what they brew and the system they use. There are car guys that will stop by a car lot with no intent to buy a car but just to shoot the breeze with a sales guy about cars. It’s much like that except this lot has beer and instead of just pissing away the sales guy’s time you can drop a few ducketts for a few pints and acquire a piece of brewing equipment.

Delicious beer on tap and an excellent place to pick up home brew supplies. Cool atmosphere, and you can drink a pint while you shop! Good selection and prices. A great place to go for experienced and beginning brewers alike, or even if you’re just looking to grab a pint or two in a chill spot downtown.
