Great selection of craft beer with industrial chic décor, excellent service — Ben, John and Sarah, fun uplifting atmosphere — people and great food at Fusion Food Truck.

Best beer joint in Olympia. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The selection is great and changes frequently. Prices are not bad and the place is not pretentious like some other spots in town. I like the options of getting 6 or 9 oz pours so you can try lots of good stuff.

I really love this place. Great beer selection and I love nitro taps. I love to sample beers I have never had and they have such a unique beer menu, its primarily stuff I have never heard of and have never tried. Definitely breaks the monotony of other bars. The staff is super nice and knowledgeable about their selections. Love that you can get food from other places and bring in. My new fav spot in Olympia.

Just as we were finishing our beer and saying how we would definitely return, we discovered a fruit fly in one of our glasses. When we mentioned this to Chris he told us, «Yep, we have fruit flies.» Wow. OK, then. No offer of a complementary beer or anything. Pros: Good selection and atmosphere. Cons: No samples, but bugs in your beer are on the house.

This place… This place. It is home. Plain and simple, it is phenomenal. The taphouse is built in a house. The tap list is extensive. They are, in short, splendid. Awesome outdoor seating area. They get all of the environment points possible.

How do I love thee, let me count the ways: 1. Bright and cheerful interior. A clean, well-lighted place. 2. Great custom made furniture from welded steel & wood(and all matching). 3. Table games to play. 4. Great current selection on a bright, easy to read electronic board(w/both alcohol content &IBU measurements) 5. Augmented nicely by the bottled beer in the cases. 6. Helpful and friendly staff(Thanks, Sarah). 7. Love having tasting sizes available(in 2 different sizes) 8. An actually nice outside area(instead of the usual concrete slab). 9. The beer selections favor local breweries. 10. Love the pay-it-forward board to buy others a beer.

Nice stop in Olympia. They have a nice selection of local beers from around the state. It is located in a renovated house which is a cool idea, one I haven’t seen before. Overall, it was a good stop I would stop by here again.

This new tap house is where the former Tea Lady business was. The previous business owner kept the place pretty nice but the house has undergone a remodel which definitely gives it a more modern and polished look in addition to outside seating in their yard. The tap house itself is very friendly and relaxing. They have a nice variety of different beers on tap and everyone is very informative about that variety. Nice place!

First time here and I’m blown away about the selection and the atmosphere. I love the fact that you have the 6oz option so you can try a little bit of everything. This is by far the best brewery that I’ve been to in a while and even though this my for time here it will be the first of many.

Worth a try if you’re nearby. If you’re within an hours distance and there’s no place of interest, this would be a great choice to de-stress. Their beers on tap include both local and out of state, even if all the tables are taken, it’s still worth the wait. You can choose a seat inside, or sit outside in their backyard garden, with large umbrellas that the sun, it will undoubtedly hide… there’s also a menu available where you can order from other restaurants to satisfy your munchies, or just walk out the front steps and request from a simple and small menu from the food truck. All in all, do give this place a try and best of luck(you’ll have a good time don’t worry)

This is a renovated house near the Martin Way Diner that is a must to check out. I am not a beer drinker but this is not a problem, there is a large variety of ciders available both bottled and on tap. The owners and employees are very knowledgeable and friendly; this might be the Cheers is East Oly where if you go they will soon know your name. No food but you can bring your own, order delivery from the takeout menus in the bar, or run across the street to the diner and get appetizers to go(gravy fries with the green apple cider are my favorite combo). There’s two large tables in back rooms for large groups(you can call ahead and reserve) and a newly opened outdoor area.

Northwest Beerwerks got me drunk and that is good. The service seems… confused and agitated, but nice… if they don’t know you. Many, many beers. I did not know these beers. I wanted to drink these beers… and I did. Any establishment that doesn’t sell a Miller or Budweiser product is a place that you need to visit… often. In order to minimize the drunkenness, Beerwerks has a food truck outside. This is a good idea. If you are in Olympia for a rave or some type of political function, I would suggest that you visit Northwest Beerwerks because they have a cozy, welcoming atmosphere and a great selection of odd beers that you won’t find anywhere else.

What a plus this place is to Oly. Nice vibe, relatively quiet, no kids. Not an industrial warehouse. Nice remodel on a old home. Love it.

This is a brand-new(as of this writing) beer bar that definitely gives Oly a new splash of variety on the beer scene. They focus on finding the rarest and most-interesting kegs they can get their hands on. They have a beefy tap list and a half dozen coolers as well. Most interestingly, they have taken over an old house and turned it into a real business. It might actually be the most convincing transformation of residential real estate into a cool business that I’ve seen. They’re up on the hill on the east side of downtown. There are tons of all different kinds of businesses all around here, and the busy street on the south side of the building runs straight out to the freeway. Despite all this nearby activity, the house setting makes it feel very private and even like a bit of a friendly treehouse club meeting. There’s a bit of parking out front, and there’s a gravel lot behind the building. The front door has a couple of landings as you move up the slope from the street. This makes the place feel as much like a home as anything else about the place – the steps and railings feel like they’re original to the house. From the outside, you still see the gables and eaves that make it the little bungalow that it is, but as soon as you see the glass in the door and look inside, you know it’s a completely professional and very new beer bar. There’s blond wood on the floor, big windows on three sides, and on a sunny day it was very bright and cheerful inside. There are a few seating areas – a nice mix of heavy wooden tables and benches alongside overstuffed leather chairs and a sofa. There are several different areas where a group of friends can have their own space, and there’s a big sunny deck out back that they’re working with the city to license for service. Can’t sit out there just yet, but by the time you read this that may have changed. The coolers are not totally packed, but they have a nice selection of good stuff. Still, after being open only eight weeks, they have filled six coolers nearly full with a nice lineup of bottles, so it seems likely that they will fill these much fuller before too much longer. You can crack any bottle in the coolers, or take it home. There’s no charge to crack a bottle in the bar. The bar is the centerpiece of the whole place, of course. It runs along the long outside wall, with a nice barback and wall of taps. They offer 6 and 9 ounce tasters along with pints, in a sensible small variety of glasses. This isn’t the place to come for a huge variety of glassware, but the variety of beers is spectacular. You sit on gigantically heavy custom-made barstools, with hand-welded legs under seats that look like butcher blocks. And then there’s the taplist – two dozen beers focused on Washington breweries. They featured two breweries that were so new they didn’t appear on most of the more-common lists of Washington breweries, as well as plenty of interesting kegs from tiny newer breweries in the south Sound and southwest Washington. They really do the legwork to find cool stuff. They also feature a few more-familiar names from Seattle’s brewery scene, and up and down the west coast. Not too many from farther away than that, though. And that’s really cool. Emphasizing the local goods gives the place a great feel. The staff are incredibly well-informed and super friendly. The manager has extensive brewery experience himself, which goes to show how closely connected these guys are to the industry and the scene. The prices are very fair, and there’s nothing about this place that you would change. It’s a long drive for me from home to here, but I can easily see return visits in my future.

This is the only place of its kind on the East side. Come as you are; off The Hill or from under the car. If you like any kind of beer, the staff will help you find something to your liking. IPA knowledge spoken here as well as other hop vernacular. However, don’t be intimidated to ask questions, everyone has a helpful opinion to help out. The small meeting room allows you to stream your device to the TV, otherwise it is a social and fun place and not just a «bar». The owners Ton and Tom along with Matt and Chris are great Local people. If you like beer, cider or something similarly brewed you will not be disappointed for a quick stop for beer to go or just stay and sample your belly full of 24 taps of beer and ciders.

This is the friendly neighborhood pub I’ve been waiting for all these years. It located in a former house that has been completely renovated and tastefully decorated as a cozy pub where the focus is on good beer. It is perched on a small hill on one of the connector streets between Pacific and Martin Way, just east of where the two merge. In other words, a couple blocks east of Ralph’s Thriftway. There was a very friendly atmosphere there, with no TV or loud music. Definitely conducive to friendly conversation and drinking great beer. It is comfortable and well lit, and they even have a couch. They have an impressive 24 taps, plus a discerning collection of bottled beer. On tap were two nitro beers and two ciders. Now, these are not 24 ordinary beers. The majority of the beers here are beers you will not find anywhere else in town on tap or in bottles. Most are from small breweries or breweries with limited distribution. There were at least four or five IPAs of course, a few pales, a few lagers, about four saisons, a couple of porters, and some more obscure styles. Don’t worry, they had a couple of well known, quality beers in addition to all the lesser-known ones(Mac & Jack’s and Snoqualmie). I found a beer menu(maybe not current) when I went to their facebook page, went to ‘About’, then went to ‘menu’. They have prices for 6 oz, 9 oz, 16 oz, and 64 oz growlers of all their beers. The prices per pint ranged from $ 3.50 to maybe $ 6.00. I feel the prices are quite fair compared to the other establishments in town. I mean, there are many area restaurants that charge $ 4.50 or $ 5.00/pint for mediocre beers. Check it out. I know I plan on returning often.
