Always great specials, delicious and copious. The half order of chicken-fried steak fills the plate with some hanging over; delicious. I have never eaten there without bringing some home in a doggy bag. Kudos to the wait staff also.

No complaints about the food, a great hearty breakfast, good portion sizes. Service was fine, not outstanding, but fine. I thought the prices were a bit on the high side, despite the portion size.

Love love love this place ! I usually get the mondo chicken fried steak and it’s so huge it barely fits on the plate. This is a Homey — old style diner comfortable and casual like back in the olden days with AmAzing food ! My boyfriend and I go here often and are always 100% satisfied. Sure it’s not the prettiest inside because it’s older style but that’s the whole point it’s a classic diner and I love it !

I used to eat at places like this all the time, and love breakfast foods. Had the pancakes, sausage, and eggs the plate was huge and was very good! Felt uncomfortable however the entire time I was there. I was made to feel like an inconvenience, and would never ever want to return again.

Yum! We’ve been driving by this place for quite some time and my grandma has come by before throughout the years but I have never stopped in And I’m disappointed in myself because I hadn’t before! I had the French dip which was good, my grandma had the rueben with the diner made potato chips. She said it was delicious and was impressed by the amount of meat on her sandwich. My mother had the turkey club– which they happily added cranberry sauce to when she asked which was amazing! I had to steal a few bites. They use nice, thick turkey slices rather than the thin lunch meat stuff and they didn’t skimp on the special request of adding cranberry sauce. We will coming back! Sooner rather than later! Our server was Christina and she was very friendly and kind.

It’s been almost 4 years since my initial review. The good news? It’s still the best breakfast in the area! Bar none. Well prepared, fresh and AMPLE breakfast dishes. Service is still top notch. On that basis, up to a full 5 star rating from me

Early last Sunday we stopped in. I really enjoyed the non chain restaurant experience and the food was tasty.

This was our first time at the diner, and it truly is a diner. The place was packed consistently during our 10am breakfast. We ordered the big boy biscuits and gravy and the half order mega chicken fried steak. Both were huge portions, 2 meals out of each, and we are pretty big eaters ;) .the waitress was very friendly and the staff were on top of it considering how busy they were; there was even someone designated to walking around refilling drinks. We will go back for sure.

Visited on a Friday morning after working a 12 hour shift at the nearby hospital. Was looking for a good hearty breakfast and a good bloody mary, since 8 am is my 5pm! This place fit the bill. The service was good, quick and pleasant. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a diner — wide open space with a «old» feel to it. The food was average, I wasn’t blown away, but it was good. I ordered the create your own omelet, 3 toppings &3 eggs for $ 11.49, a bit pricy for what you got I think. But the Bloody Mary was really good and for $ 6 it was well worth it and therefore it deserved a photo! I would go back just for another of those! Overall it was just ok… I would go back but it isn’t at the top of my list.

The chicken fried steak here is life changing! Try it! I visited here for the 1st time about a week ago and I can’t stop thinking about it. I wish I’d gotten the whole instead of the half. Leftovers would’ve been welcome. The food, staff & music are great. Our waitress even hunted down a bee the was threatening us. This will have to be a weekly family trip. Finally an affordable and delicious breakfast diner :-) btw watch out for the bees

This is my first visit here. At first I thought. «Crap! It’s going to be another poor service experience.» But what I didn’t realize is that you don’t need to wait to be seated. Once sat down the service was excellent. I ordered the ham scramble with country potatoes and a side of Martin’s French toast. It was all very good and I am so stuffed. If you like the classic diner environment, this is a great place. I’ll be back!

Good food, good service, good vibes. This is a great place to go for brunch. I went with my parents and we all enjoyed eating here. Dad had the country fried steak(half order) and he couldn’t finish it! The portions are a good size considering what you pay for! The bacon was a good size and we always ask for them to make it extra crispy.

This is a great place for breakfast. Good food, good service, the type of place that used to be common across America. I had bacon and eggs, my wife had the«hamburger scramble special«. Both were excellent. Everyone looked happy with their food. You won’t leave hungry!

Stopped in while on a road-trip, parking lot full«usually a good sign» I am on a diet so I ordered the scrambled ham and eggs. Not Bad! My wife ordered the French Toast. More like the French Toast of the gods! So much for my diet!!! No, really get the french Toast.

I really like this place. It reminds me of Gwennie’s in Sequim(now closed) and Peggy’s in Sallisaw. Old school, fast service, decent food, quick refills on the coffee — the whole enchilada. Or, in this case, fried razor clams, eggs over easy, hash browns, and wheat toast. Unpretentious, happy servers, good vibes. I’ll be back.

If you are a french toast fan, oder the Martin Way french toast. Thick slices of french bread dipped in a wonderful egg batter, topped with a dusting of powdered sugar. Pure Heaven. The portins are huge as well. The staff is super sweet and the diner itself has an old 50s charm to it.

Ah, what the heck. I will go ahead and round this up to four stars. Steve went away on vacation to Hawaii for several days to spoil himself with tropical weather. I decided to spoil myself with eating out and decided a road trip would be nice. I swung in here and got some Biscuits and Gravy which was very good along with some hashbrowns. It was worth getting up early to take him to the airport if I got to go spoil myself with eating out afterwards. Lol! Nice diner.

Give it four stars just because of the amount of time it takes for the food to come out. But the food and service has always been great. Plates are pretty big and breakfast for two was about $ 25.
