So, it’s not necessarily a good thing when you’re looking at other places on Unilocal!to see what would have been a better pick while eating your dinner. Every time I’ve driven by this place, it has a lot of cars in the parking lot(besides the delivery cars) so I thought it would be a safe bet. I should have checked here first. This is not Chinese food, it’s got some basic resemblance to Chinese food. I get the reviews of looking for a good cheap pseudo-Chinese restaurant, but not even the soup of the day was Chinese. That was the 1st sign that this wasn’t a good choice. The dinner combinations were odd. I order a dinner with 2 main dishes, Mongolian Beef with medium spice and Sweet and Sour Pork with the thought of taking some to work for lunch. It came with fried rice and an egg roll. The beef had literally no spice and the fried rice had no flavor at all and was crunchy. That’s not supposed to happen, is it? I will say that the sweet and sour chicken was decent, but it was just fried chicken strips with sauce on it. And… to make it really bad, it came to over $ 18 for 1 person. Hate to say it, but the left overs went in the trash when I got home. This was a definite no-go-back for me.

Expensive and not good tasting at all. Portions are decent I don’t know if my leftovers were because I didn’t like the taste or they actually provided a good amount of food. For the price and taste not worth it at all. I’ll not be back.

Uniquely bad. Should of listened to other reviewers. But went out on a limb. Mistake. Very overpriced and definitely not worth it. Rice was even bad. How do you mess up rice? I love me some Chinese food but this can’t even be called that in my opinion. God I hope all Chinese food in lacey is not that bad. On to the next place but I’ll go for a lunch special first do I don’t drop 30 bucks on dog food. If it matters the dog did eat it up but he had to sleep outside cause man he was gassy. Lol. Don’t waste ur money and pay attention to reviews.

I think this is a lot of locals’ go-to for fast«chinese» food… any I use that term lightly(there were burgers on the menu). Huge menu, generous portions and decently priced. But my chicken fried rice was so so so dry, their lemon chicken tasted like orange chicken and their pork egg foo young was served with light gravy, which we were not big fans of. This might be more of a last-ditch effort place for us to grab food. Otherwirse, if you can find some other Chinese restaurant to try, I would.

We just moved here from San Francisco so we are trying to find decent restaurants. We ordered several dishes from Emperor’s Palace and had them delivered. We ordered things that we knew: Brochli beef, lemon chicken, chow main, etc. My husbands cooked up some pot stickers, and then we heated up the food from Emperors Palace. All I can say is that this is probably the worse chinese food my husband have EVER eaten !! Everything tasted ‘old’- like it had been in the kitchen way too long. The chow mein was the gelatinous horrible stuff that you would get from a can– not the delicious noodles mixed with veggies that my husband and I are used to in the S.F. Bay Area. Also, this food was not cheap, and there was very little of it… which actually turned out to be a good thing !! The best part of our meal? the pot stickers that my husband cooked up !! Do not order from this restaurant no matter how hungry you are — !!! judith

The only real good thing about this place is that they deliver. I ordered dinner two nights ago and the food was here in 30 minutes. After two days of misery with food poisoning, I am finally coherent enough to write a review. Within an hour of eating it I was in agony. Folks… do yourselves a favor… don’t order from or even go to Emperor’s Palace.

Ordered 3 entrees. Coconut shrimp, won ton soup & pad Thai. Pretty simple stuff right? No, the shrimp were from the Gordon Fisherman out of a box. Very gross. The Pad Thai was an egg noodle, asked for mild & got very spicy. The soup was hot water and the won tons tasted like spoiled pork. Didn’t finish the $ 29.00 to go meal and will never go back. Live & learn.

The food was meh… The chicken fried rice had no flavor, and it was a little pricey. Wouldnt go out of my way to go again

Well, it’s been around a long time.. I only like the almond chicken(white meat) with extra gravy, & the wonton soup sans the egg :-P. Of course bbq pork, & other appetizers are the same everywhere. The staff has been great but… some drivers are jerks! The mongolian beef was the worst I’ve ever had. I’ll stick to the standard Almond Chicken, white meat only, w/extra gravy.

I discovered tonight that I can order what I want delivered tomorrow at a specific time and I’ll get it then! That’s really important to me because I know they get very busy and you can wait more than an hour if you hit a snag . I have guests coming tomorrow and timing will be important all day. I’m happy I thought to call them and ask about advance ordering for delivery!

This is your average Chinese-American restaurant that basically every town has. Every time I have been there I come away wishing the portion was larger.

Wish I could give this place 2.5 stars. Not very good Chinese food, but it wasn’t horrible either. They were quick and friendly enough(I picked up my order) I’ll probably drive the extra couple minutes to get panda next time. Overall I wasn’t very impressed. I might try it again and try some other dishes

Always great service from the bartenders!!! My husband and I will go there for a special treat. We sit in the bar to have a beer and order an obnoxious order to go… Switching one thing for another and the bartenders always give us the best deal and it is Always right when get home.

Just went to get some dinner and sat in the bar. I sat there for 30 mins and no one came up to see if I needed anything. There where two people working in the bar and they look at me and made eye contact with me a couple of time but never came over to see if I needed anything. As I was leaving I look at them and they just smiled as I walk out.

I used to be pretty fond of this place. I have a soft spot for cheap Americanized Chinese food. However, I’ve now tried to get a delivery order in during a time I know I have in the past(10:15 on a Saturday and 9:30 on a Thursday), and both times have been told they had already closed for the evening. I can understand saving cost and labor hours, but I know I have been driving around town and nearly been hit by delivery drivers past both of these times. They seemed to have dramatically hiked the prices as well.

Okay, my grandmother loves to eat here. Me… not so much. The service is friendly and we have always been seated promptly. We are always given tea right away. The restaurant is always clean and we’ve never had any problems. But the food… too much breading, too much floury sauce, too much MSG, the soups always feels like they are full of thickener and their chocolate milk is milk with hershey sauce mixed in… the sauce always sinks to the bottom. That said, if you like that sort of thing, the food always tastes freshly cooked. And when my kids were younger, they LOVED the fish tank. This restaurant is totally family friendly.

One of the things I am very picky about is Chinese Food! I like maybe a handful worldwide. And this is one of my favorite. The flavors and textures are perfect, it taste home cooked not like that frozen processed junk. I will travel to get here and bring friends at eat here time and time again.

Okay, a review from a real live Chinese person whose family is from China and is in the Chinese restaurant delivery service. This place isn’t that great. It’s not the worst I’ve ever eaten, but it’s pretty far down on the list of places I would get food from again. I’ve never had a «bad» experience. I’ve always ordered delivery and my orders tend to be 60+ dollars. The problem I have is that this restaurant quality is pretty lackluster. I can go to Chinatown in Seattle and for 60 dollars get more then enough to feed my never ending put of a teenage sons stomach, myself, and my husband AND still have leftovers. I never have leftovers. Because we throw it away. I moved down here for my husband and it’s gotten to the point where I think it may be time to open an extension of the family business down here, because this place is making it easy to pick up customers. The food is just as the other reviews say. Overbreaded, greasy, often overcooked, and often cooked in old oil. It’s been Americanized to cater to different tastes but Americans don’t like this so I’m unsure of who the target audience is. You’re better off with Panda Express(she says with a scoff) cause this place just isn’t right.

I really can’t say anything about the food cuz I have not gone there during the day to eat anything but they’re night time life, the bar, have karaōke and I’ve been going there almost every weekend for the last 2 months it’s so much fun the bartenders are super sweet the drinks are really strong and kevin, the karaōke master, is really fun and I have the best time hanging out there.
