Every time I go to this Panda location in Lacey I’ve never had an issue. They stock their trays with food and I’ve never had to wait for a food item to be prepared. Their food tastes good too. Customer is service is OK. Could be a bit more friendly, but what can anyone expect since it’s a food service line and they’re trying to get people through the line quick… no time for small talk, but who really cares, right? Just as long as the food is good and you get what you go into Panda for… fast, Americanized, Chinese food.

This place never gives you a lot of food. It seems like they scoop the food then shake it half off, then what is left over goes on your plate. Also some of the people are rude at times.

Came here for an early lunch at 11am just after opening. They were still making the food. There was no white rice or brown rice yet. Was told another 15 min to a half hour for brown rice. It’s dumb to open and still not have your rice ready. Since it wasn’t due to be done till an hour after opening when we got there. Sucked, I’m not a fan of their new recipe fried rice and that wasn’t even ready yet.

SO I’m a recent transplant to WA from California. I’ve discovered in Thurston County there aren’t really many good restaurants here. If you are from you here you might think so but being from California I know better. Anyway the ONE restaurant chain I found I could pretty much count on that they have in Cali too is Panda Express! I’ve been coming to this location with no problems until last night. I wanted to try something different. I was super hungry and ready to eat. I order the little steak pieces(cant remember what they’re called) They looked pretty good. Finish my order get home and start eating. Took a bite of the meat and it felt funny in my mouth… I could immediately tell it wasn’t cooked. I looked at it and it was still red inside! I don’t know about you but I don’t eat uncooked beef of any kind. Thank goodness I am not the type of person who doesn’t look at their food and just eats. I would have been soooo sick! I called the restaurant and spoke to an assistant manager who apologized for that incident and told me she would take care of me today. I will be updating this post later. SOPAYATTENTION to your little steak bites and make SURE they are cooked before you leave! *****UPDATE… I go back to Panda and ask for the assistant manager I spoke to the night before. I showed her the pictures of the raw meat so she knew I was telling the truth. She said that she would give me 2 free entrees. I said I’d like to get some rice(figured I might as well gt rice to go with the meat) I offered to pay for the rice. I decided I didn’t want to take a chance on the steak again. I got the orange chicken and walnut shrimp those are pretty hard to mess up I guess lol! I think it’s cool that the manager gave me two free entrée s but to be honest the rice should have been free too. I had to pay $ 2.93 for the rice. Being that I had to DRIVE back up there using my gas for a mistake THEY made a complete free meal should have been given. Had I ate that meat I’d be sick as s dog right now. Anyway it’s over and I won’t ever get that steak again. In conclusion i will give this store three * * *‘s here for the food but not up top Lol!

I used to love Panda’s Orange Chicken. Unfortunately, the signature dish has evolved into more breading than chicken. No longer recommended.

I got talked into eating here… Had the orange chicken with lo mein. Chewy chicken, overly fried. Noodles were dry, desert-like. I think they use as many onions as possible to hide the chemical laden aftertaste you get. No matter what location, the food at Panda Express always makes me feel like complete crap. Please go to a family owned Chinese restaurant if you’re craving this type of cuisine.

We came just before closing to find the kitchen shut down and staff scrubbing the kitchen which was a bad sign because I knew that our orange chicken was not gonna be fresh but my girlfriend still wanted her orange chicken bowl. The chicken was average along with the noodles. Later that night I’m sad to say the food made her very sick and that’s as far a I Will go as symptoms. We have ate many times at there mall location and have no problems. Pleas care more about the food then pre closing your store at night.

First time getting take out at this location. Opted for the bowl: String Bean Chicken over chow mein. Service was quick and friendly, entrees and sides were sufficiently stocked for dinnertime. My bowl was very tasty. The chicken was cooked well and the veggies still had snap. The chow mein was not salty and overly greasy. Price was fine considering the amount of protein and veggies you got in addition to the noodles. This location was clean, steady stream of customers(most were getting take out), plenty of seating.

I went here for dinner the other night with my friend. this was the worst panda experience I have ever had I ordered the brown rice/2 entrée special. The brown rice was disgusting. It was extremely watery and looked like mashed potatoes. Look at the attached picture… I was very disappointed they even served this to me. Why would I as a paying customer want to eat this? I went back in line to say something and had to wait almost 10 mins. Now my food was getting cold. The lady was nice and allowed me to get fried rice instead and She also apologized for serving the brown rice. She said something may have been wrong with the machine. If so, why even serve the brown rice?

Greasy, somewhat spicy Orange Chicken and Firecracker chicken with Chow Mein. Killed it! Good servers today. When you’re in the mood for some greasy Americanized Chinese food, this place is easy access.

Look, I don’t have high expectations when it comes to being lazy, making the kid happy, and grabbing some take out. But this PE is freaking terribad. My wife and I both had the Sweet Fire Chicken. Both of our orders were fried SOOO hard that it was crispy *ALL* the way through the nuggets. The chicken-that-once-was was so fried it looked like wood pulp — and was half as palatable. Of course, it took us 30 minutes to get home with traffic, and it was late already, and we were starving… so they got away with this one. We couldn’t make ourselves go «address it» with the store. Do yourselves a favor, drive to Tumwater. *BTW, I think what they did was re-fry the old chicken that had been out and gotten cold. Extra yummy.

This review is for the orange chicken and their customer service: What happened to the world of Panda? Their orange chicken had gone bad. :( I was there today to pick up the orange chicken that we ordered. I was so excited about it. I haven’t had this orange chicken for the longest time, and I still vividly remember how it was before, it was moist but crunchy, sweet, a lit bit spicy, salty with a little taste of orange flavor. It was so good! But after so many years of not having it. I’m still expecting it should still be the same taste. But I guess, things changed over time and so is the orange chicken. It became dry, over cooked, hard and too spicy. :(We are disappointed. I am disappointed. No earned star to this bad chicken. We were going to let it go and just move on but one of my colleagues said that I should call the 1 – 800 that listed on the receipt, to let them know that we’re not satisfied about the orange chicken. I was hesitant at first, but I did it anyway. I spoke to the lady and I told her about the bad orange chicken and she assured me that one of the area manager will be calling me in regards to my complaint and they might replace the order. So, I said okay and I hanged up. Then, I called the branch here at Lacey and I spoke to the supervisor and told her about that we didn’t like the orange chicken but I didn’t tell her that I called the 1 – 800. To my surprise, she was sorry and offered if they can replace the order. I was like wow, really?! So, I said sure why not?! We’ll give it another try! So, then we hanged up and I was like, that was too easy. I was expecting she would be defensive or something. Then, the area manager called me and I told him that I already talked to the branch manager and it was settled. They’re replacing the order. He was sorry but glad that it was settled. We may never be satisfied with the orange chicken but we are satisfied with how they took care of my issue and that my friend, earned a 4 stars. :) Capisce?!!

Don’t be fooled by the name. They don’t really have panda :) Fortunately, what they do have is served fast. The food is quite good for a fast food place. I love the orange chicken. The rice is usually dry, but that’s quite common for fast food places like this. The atmosphere is also typical for a fast food place. This is a good place to go for lunch or dinner if you need to get in and out quickly and have a decent meal.

Ok I admit it. I LOVE Panda Express Kung Poa Chicken. I know it is food court type food, high in salt and probably really bad for me. But Gawd help me I do love it. Although I wish they would leave out the zucchini. I mean really who ever heard of zucchini in Kung Poa? That said, the foods are the same as any other Panda Express. The service has been great every time I have been there(about 10 times at this writing ;o).

This was the slowest Panda Express we’d ever been to… sure we ordered two Panda Feasts, but the kept having to ask the folks making the food for«one more order» of everything we ordered… We really sat in the restaurant for at least 25 minutes waiting to take home our food. By that time the mixed vegetables and potstickers were cold.
