Marvin Road Golf and Batting Range

Mini golf is one of the best I have been too. Pretty good condition, long with good variety. No clown faces but lots of challenges. There are three batting cages with 40, 50 and 60 mph pitches. Impressed with the place. Great for kids and adults.

The miniature golf course is one of the worst courses i’ve seen in a long time and would not recommend wasting the time time or money there! The greens are in rough condition, the cups are cracked and some even hang above the green slightly, the bricks and rocks are very loose and lay on the course and there is vegetation and foliage all over the greens. And to make this experience worse, the owner’s attitude is pathetic and he just doesn’t care about customer service and only making a buck! My wife fell through the water pump cover and hurt her leg trying to recover a ball from the water and after notifying the owner, he just responded ok with no concern to how she was or where it happened. I went it to ask fro a refund since she didn’t play most of the game and he wouldn’t give a refund and only a coupon for a free round of golf in the future which we gave to a family and refuse to ever go back there again!

This is a great spot for family and to bring kids. My kids had an awesome time playing mini-​golf. The course was creative and fun! There is also a climbing wall and batting cages. The staff were friendly and the dog was kind to the kids! I would go back in a heartbeat!

This place is lame. They’re unresponsive to customers, and they close earlier than their advertised hours.

fun, not crowded during the week at all, even on the weekend (sadly) with great weather .not packed.
but it is clean and a great place to bring kids for batting practice and stress relief… batting cages are fun, pretty darn cheap way to work out tension for kids and adults .not to mention a rousing round of putt putt LOLOL too funny .it was fun, safe, well cared for and clean that is all important to me
customer service could be a bit better. but once you get your stuff and go to whatever you would like to do it is not a problem because you really do not need help from anyone .our equipment, everything satisfactory
go there and enjoy it. simple pleasures in life and the outdoors better than sitting and eating crap watching movies… ok i love to sit eat crap and watch movies so maybe that was an exaggeration

The layout is simple and great but customer service is the worst I’ve ever encountered. So bad That I won’t award them more than the minimum star needed to write a review. Cashier was rude and shouldn’t be working there at all.

My boyfriend and I came here to settle our bet that I am the best mini golfer out of both of us (3 – 0). We decided to Come here from JBLM since the Parkland Putters is a little ghetto for us. Was a little hard to find since my GPS wanted to take us a couple streets down and didn’t see a sign for the place.
It was $ 14 for one round for two people which isn’t bad. The place was well kept, and very clean. There is only 1 course of mini golf, which was a little easier if you are an adult –but hard for a child. The holes are very close together so you can hear everyone’s conversation. Over all I would come back again.
Oh yeah… and there is a rock wall you can climb for about $ 4 a climb along with a driving range and a batting cage.

I had a very fun time here with my daughter. She is 10 years old and we were having a mother-​daughter day. 18 holes and slightly challenging but not too hard that they were hard for her she enjoyed it.
She loved to see the fish in the pond while we were golfing around it and she even got par on several of the holes as well as me. There are enough trees around the corse creating shade while you’re playing in the sun and I think it would be a fun course to play even on a cloudy or rainy day. There is also a batting cage and a driving range here for those who would like to do something more adventurous there is a 30 foot rock climbing wall! I plan to come back!

Went on the 11^th of November to play some mini golf. I was pleasantly surprised at how fun the course was. We had a blast. They also have a driving range, batting cages, and a rock climbing wall. The guy working the counter was super friendly and had great customer service. We will definitely be back soon.

I think this place is great. The batting cages, the driving range, and the mini golf course. They are good quality and I have a good time going here, never any problems with anything. This place is way better than the Airport golf and batting cages.

I used to go here all the time, and now I don’t.

The Owner was friendly and the store was clean and kept. The miniature golf course was a different story. Almost every hole my wife and I played on was covered in dirt, small rocks and leaves. This made it a challenge to putt properly. In addition, some of the bricks that outlined the greens were missing. The course was fair and challenging but it wasn’t worth the $ 7 a person.

Something for everyone!
We’re from out of state visiting Washington to see family and escape the Arizona heat. I’m so glad my sister suggested this place.
The husband and I enjoyed the driving range and our kids loved the rock climbing tower and the batting cages. Before we head back home, we’re planning another visit to check out the mini golf.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and the prices are very reasonable.

Definitely rethink your choice. The «employee» and owner were very rude. They lied to me when I questioned them about their story, so I took the boys back who witnessed it and the «employee» then moved on to another accusatory remark. Definitely wonder how they continue to stay in business considering the way they treat their customers.

This place is great. The owner is friendly and his dog that hangs around the grounds is mellow and sweet. The driving range has nice mats for hitting and the buckets are hand-​scooped. He is very generous– the buckets are overflowing with balls. I would say that the medium bucket is the equivalent of a large bucket anywhere else. There also is a nice, grass putting green for those who want to practice their work with the flat iron. No chipping or pitching around the green though!
The batting cages look pretty nice, but I haven’t used them. I think the machines are iron mikes, which «throw» the ball at you with a metal arm. I like iron mike machines better than the machines with the rubber wheels, because you can read when the ball is going to be thrown to you. It is much better practice for kids trying to work on their timing and keeping their head on the ball. Its more realistic and accurate and less like a guessing game.
The mini-​golf course is really fun and not gimmicky at all. It is challenging but fair, which makes for a great place to take a date. My girlfriend and I have been here a couple times and have loved it. It is in pretty good shape for being exposed to Washington weather year-​around.
The owner recently put in a rock climbing wall, and I have yet to be on it. It is not extremely tall, but still looks pretty fun.
Overall, the Marvin Road Golf and Batting Range is a great place to practice your golf game, take your kids, or take a date.

Place is a little dated, however to be nice? It was the first part of spring! So I’ll update again this summer.

A decent course but nothing fancy for the price. $ 27 for a family of four is a bit steep. The staff were very confrontational when you did not follow the directions on one of their 100 signs telling you what you are permitted to do. Try another place first if you have the chance.

The husband and I were looking for something to do during the afternoon of our anniversary and he thought it would be fun to go and play minigolf. That sounded like a fantastic idea to me. We were about to hop on the freeway to go to Tacoma but it was backed up for miles. The husband, in all his resourcefulness, found a golf range nearby that also had a minigolf set up. The place is primarily used as a range though, so they make use of their space by cramming 18 holes into what could be considered a large backyard. Kudos to them for use of space. It was only 6.50 a person, so I thought that was a pretty good deal, and we spent about an hour or so outside. It was a beautiful day, the course was well taken care of, and we had a lot of fun.

I know, I know… five stars, really? But yes, I thought this place rocked. There wasn’t anything amazing about it. There were no fireworks when the ball went in the cup. It was just simple and nice.
The put put course its pretty standard. It is nice and well maintained but some of the holes are pretty impossible. I don’t know where they got their par information but the hole with the logs is impossible in 3 shots. I could practice that hole all day long and not do it in 3 shots. I liked the layout and how creative some of the holes were… all without gaudy themed landscaping.
They also have a driving range that looks pretty good and a batting cage that goes from 40−70mph. So if you are looking to face Jaime Moyer any time soon, this is your place to practice.
