Medium rare Crying tiger and fried rice is my regular order every month. Love it and crave it often. Of course I get it spicy plus with extra spice on the side. I recommend you try this place, if you can order before hand I recommend that because it gets packed.

The décor reminds me of most hole in the wall Asian restaurants. I love it. I ordered laab. Like always lol. Not a fan. It was too chicken flavored if that makes sense. It tasted like the chicken broth that you cool the chicken in before you add all the seasoning. Very fresh ingredients but didn’t have that laab flavor that I love. Will not be coming back but hope this place the absolute best.

This place is located in an abandoned Taco Del Mar. Somehow the weird surfer feel of the restaurant combines very nicely with the Thai food vibe. It makes me feel like an ex pat who has been living in some kind of drug induced stupor for a long time. I arrive in need of some real food to come back towards reality, just a little. My review is not going to be too interesting here. I have not explored the menu at all really. The sign outside says Pad Thai Express and that’s what I go for, and it is super legitimate! Everything here is cooked to order. The service is awesome, always with a smile, and quick. The food speaks for itself. The flavors are perfect, it’s fresh, and there’s a restraint in regards to the flavor profile and what they put in there. It is really really good. If you are a person that is a bit of a neat freak get takeout.

I visit this little restaurant frequently. My favorite dish is ginger broccoli chicken with one of their *fantastic* spring rolls. The food is freshly prepared and quickly served, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. It IS a quite modest atmosphere, so if you crave big city elegance, don’t go here. It’s a small, no frills, order-at-the-register restaurant in a strip mall.. . that just happens to serve some of the *best* Thai food I’ve encountered in my travels. Enjoy!

We have been eating here since they opened and it has always been very good. Their business has steadily picked up over time as word has gotten around about how good the food is. Weekend nights are quite busy now, but no more than a 30 – 40 minute wait that is well worth it. The Prik-King is one of our go to dishes that has amazing flavor. This is more of a take out place, but there is seating. Very casual atmosphere. I don’t know why this place currently has less than 4 stars, it does not accurately reflect their popularity or how great the food is.

I absolutely love this place! The portions are huge and decently priced. Food is cooked to order and done very quickly. I have had the pad thai with chicken, mongolian beef, mango curry, chicken pad se ew, egg rolls, tom yum, tom kha, and thai fried rice… just to name a few. Everything is always delicious and will feed me for days(food heats up well too!) I highly recommend this place!

I absolutely love the fresh salad rolls here with the peanut sauce. The best in town. They are a bit pricey though compared to other thai restaurants and the service can be very slow. Probably because they cook and prepare everything fresh. If you are in a hurry. This is not the place to go. Wait until you have time to WAIT!

Food smelled like sh$t! I have eaten pad thai for a long time and all over the damn place and it is very hard to get perfect with either too much sauce or too ketchupy etc. but né ver had I had one that smelled like crap! Maybe it was too much white pepper but damn, I couldn’t eat it, I complained to the staff, they looked at me like«yeah, what?», I even asked another customer there and they confirmed the crap smell. Staff didn’t blink at my complaint about the crap smell and I didnt want to eat it for fear of the squirts later on. I really wanted a good thai place close to home. So far, Olympia Thai food is mediocre.

great thai food… love the staff… this is just a small little place… but the flavor profiles are on point… this beef salad is fantastic… jungle lamb is the bomb… and i would say the orange chicken is the tastiest in olympia…

This place has good thai food. My husband and I come here on a pretty regular basis because it’s close to home, but we really enjoy the food. Everything is made to order, which means the food you’re served is fresh. Prices are reasonable as well. My favorites are the Orange Chicken, Thai Fried Rice, and Egg rolls.

I’ve been coming to this place for awhile now. Their food is quite good – I briefly went through an orange chicken phase, and their fried tofu is delicious. Once, however, I did have an issue with the spring rolls(the lettuce was wilted), but I was very relieved when the girl at the register had no problem taking it back and giving me a refund. It should also be noted that they make the food pretty spicy if you request even a 2 on the scale. Apart from that, I still remain completely addicted to their Thai teas.

Once upon a time on a cooking show on TV we saw someone make Pad Thai with ketchup and the two of us cringed and commented on the lack of authenticity. I know that Thai people don’t really eat Pad Thai and that it was a marketing move to introduce Thai flavors to the US. I stopped in here today to grab some food on the way home after a marathon morning of shopping. I ordered fresh rolls with shrimp, chicken satay and pad thai with shrimp. At least everything was made fresh after ordering but the rolls were loaded with cilantro but not a lot of other herbs and since I live with someone who does not process cilantro well the rolls were all mine. They were ok but nothing amazing. If they had more mint and basil they would have been much better. The satay was much better with a nice light curry flavor but the peanut sauce was pretty bland and flavorless. They were the largest satay skewers I have ever seen. The Pad Thai was almost red and tasted of tomatoes. This was the second time I have ever had pad thai like this and I still did not like it. Pad Thai should get its sweetness from tamarind, not the high fructose corn syrup in ketchup. The shrimp had good flavor but the noodles were just nasty. Service was quick and friendly. I may stop by here again for satay or some chicken wings but I doubt I would ever order the Pad Thai again.

Large portion sizes. Good price point. The Satay chicken came with 4 large pieces and a generous peanut sauce. The chef special Spicy Asparagus was very good. The tofu Phad Thai was also quite large. The flavors were very good. Most dishes are 8.99 and come with rice. Service is slow so be prepared to wait.

Off the beaten track hidden behind the Walgreens, this Thai joint is well lit with spacious booths. Yellow curry was soupier than I’m used to having. Crispy orange chicken was good.
