I used to sell auto parts to automotive shops all over Thurston, Pierce, and King Counties. Over the years of dealing with them, I sent everyone even remotely close to them. The most memorable one was my niece who had just paid hundreds of dollars to a shop to fix her truck. Sure enough, Trusted Choice diagnosed the problem 180 degrees off from the other shop and managed to fix the problem for much cheaper than the other shop charged to just attempt to figure it out, yet never fix it. Leonna managed to explain to me the problem, which, I hate to admit, was due to something I’d never even heard of. I HIGHLY recommend you go see Leonna and Shawn and get what ever ailes your vehicle fixed. Coming from the insider of the industry, its hard to find such honest and caring people. Give them a shot, you wont be disappointed in the smallest way.

I recently took my vehicle to Trusted Choice Auto Care; being new to the area I saw they were highly rated and took my vehicle there. Rocky was very helpful and responsive and quickly looked at my vehicle to determine an issue connected to my «check engine soon» light. He kept the vehicle for a few hours, ran some tests and in the end saw no issue connected to the light. He cleared the code and told me to drive it around for a bit and that if the light came back on, to bring it back. When I asked how much, Rocky said «there was nothing to fix, so no charge». That was just over a week ago and the light has not come back on. I was very impressed with the level of service I received and firmly believe I’ve found my mechanic!

These guys are fabulous. I was charged all of $ 26 for an oil change using synthetic oil. My last mechanic charged me $ 75.
I brought in my car for what I thought was a busted phone charger port and it turned it to be a blown fuse. Charge? 0 as in Zero Dollars. Then Rocky actually admitted that diagnosing my problems with the external temp sensor was beyond his skills. Image that, admit when you are out of your depths rather than fumble around for a few hours and charge for labor.
I asked about getting my 60,000 mile tune up and they said that they checked everything that would have been done during that check up and it all looked fine. Talk about saving me money!
I never feel ignorant when I talk to these guys. They are always patient with my questions and give me options rather than telling me there is just one way to resolves something.
These guys are my mechanics for life even though they will no longer be convenient for me to get to. I highly recommend them.

I really like these people! I have brought my car there more than once and all of my experiences have been positive. Took my care in yesterday. Rocky looked at it right away, he also knew what the problem was in about 10 minutes, and scheduled it that day. The car was ready FASTER than he predicted and he gave me a little discount as well. Rocky is always upbeat and friendly.

These guys are the best. I’ve been here 4 or 5 times with 3 different vehicles and they always treat me right. Extremely friendly, honest, fast, and prices are always reasonable. I won’t go anywhere else.

I was in Olympia for the day from Portland, OR, arriving just as sine torrential rains hit. Wouldn’t you know it, my windshield wipers crossed and froze when I turned them on. I was frantic; the trip had been an emotional one anyway, and I was in tears. I located the nearest repair shop and pulled in (after running a red light because I couldn’t see it through the windshield). Sean rushed right out to meet me, said he’d fix it in a jiffy, and proceeded to do so. He refused to take any money and I pulled out in a little better shape emotionally and much better mechanically than I’d been minutes earlier. Unfortunately, the fix didn’t quite work, so I turned around and Sean went back to work on the problem. This time, it took much longer, and when Sean was done adjusting the errant wiper, I asked how much I owed him – assuming that he certainly wouldn’t put in that kind of time without being compensated – but no, he refused any payment. Sean explained the depth of the problem and that his fix was temporarily, but that I would make it home to Portland. I did – and my car is now in the shop here. For such fine work and generosity, I wish I could give Sean more than five stars. At least for today, he has restored my faith in human kind.

When my dealership acted like they were too busy or disorganized to make an appointment, I looked up the closest place to my house. This one had good reviews. they made an appointment for me the next day. They also told me when I should do a tune-​up.
It’s a tiny office, with sparse parking, but it doesn’t matter, because they are so fast and friendly and inexpensive you will be in and out in no time.
Standard recommendation addons, but not pushy. They checked for problems and found the rear brakes were at 20% and recommended replacing at 15%. They explained their pricing clearly, and how they used quiet ceramic pads, and what they did during the brake replacement.
They have a lot of mechanics on hand and they are all friendly. The place is clean but not over the top state of the art, so you can rest assured you’re not paying for a stupid fancy waiting room, just the basics.
There is a gas station right next door and an Italian restaurant, a McDonald’s plus a Japanese garden (Yashiro Japanese Garden) if you need someplace to hang out.

This shop was recommended to me by someone who said they were good. It’s true! They gave me an estimate lower than anyone else around and got the work done for that price. They didn’t try to sell me additional work. They got started on my car before they promised me to do so. I don’t think there’s much else we can ask from a repair business.

We took our car here to get a belt replaced. Scheduled the appointment a couple days in advance, and took it in on a weekday morning. The woman in the front office with whom we worked was very nice, knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable. She told us they would let us know when it was ready, and that they would give us a call if they came across any additional problems that required extra work/​cost.
A few hours later, the car was ready with no extra issues. We would definitely go here again for future car service.

I have taken my car here three times and have been very happy with the service. The first two times for tune ups/​oil changes. Upon the third visit the owner remembered me by name. Having almost zero knowledge on cars I both appreciate and respect that when they replaced parts on my 2007 Subaru Forester, they kept the old parts, explained what the parts did, and showed me a side by side comparison to a new part. I told them that I thought I needed my brakes done and they politely told me that I in fact didn’t, and to save my money. After being mistreated and overcharged (ahem Terry’s Automotive) I am thrilled to have found this hidden gem.

Trusted Choice is the first auto shop I’ve been happy to hand my debit card to. They got my elderly station wagon up and running again in a couple of days, complete with a free oil change and a few other discounts, after the car had sat through the winter on my friend’s farm. Leona, in the office, was wonderful. Her original estimate actually ended up being less than I had to pay – which makes Trusted Choice my choice, indeed.

I have gone in here several times with my work vehicle. Every time I’m greeted friendly, and everything is explained to me with great care. They are great about squeezing you in especially when something urgent comes up. Not to long ago olympia had one of those winter snow dumps and which followed the next morning with rain, basically creating a giant mess… well my windshield wipers decided to go out! I called in and quickly got the car in and fixed.
Over all I have been very impressed. I was a bit skeptical when I heard the name Trusted Choice. It just sounded like one of those places that needs the name to prove that it is good. I have found however that I really enjoy the service. I especially like that when I call up and say who I am, instantly I’m remembered and treated like a friend.
