Every time I go to Blatt out west I have a great experience. The staff there are so friendly and knowledgable. Beer selection is amazing and the food is on my list of top 3 in Omaha. Everything about Blatt out west is awesome!

Food was cold — ordered gluten free food — came with bread ?! Waitress doesn’t know about the beer menu. Waited forever for our drinks and food to come. Not coming back.

Wife and I walked in on a Saturday night and the place was packed. No open tables, no spots at the bar and people standing all over the place. Saw the«please seat yourself» and walked back out to go somewhere else.

Great gastropub selection. Portions are on the small side but make great small eats or select a few for sharing. Great beer selection too! Seating is first come first serve, so I’d recommend going early or standing at the bar.

I love this concept and they nailed the food and drink on our visit over the holiday weekend. We stopped in at noon on Black Friday and enjoyed wonderful service at the bar. The beer selection is plentiful and all of the food sounded/looked great. Because I was having a heavy steak later in the evening I opted to go with the root burger, it did not disappoint. My husband had the homemade polish(jalapeño) and was very pleased with his dish. The fries on mine may have been a little overdone but not anything too terribly overdone. I would definitely come here regularly if I lived in Omaha. Food, atmosphere, service = 5 stars.

One of my favorite restaurants because the food is creative and the atmosphere is fun. Great part of town too. Good place to hang out.

This is a nice spot for beers, burgers and more in West O. I enjoyed attentive service from a knowledgable staff during my visit. Here’s the hit list: +Char-fried Srirachi wings — Crispy with just the right amount of spice. +Blatt Burger — A decadent burger done right with all the fixings(definitely add the bacon). + Currywust — Delicious vegan option that’ll satisfy carnivores. +Blatt Mac — A heavy dish, but one that is hard to put down once you take that first bite. +Chicken & Waffles — Hard to go wrong with jalapeño corn bread waffles. Other notes: +Over 20 beers on tap, including many local brews. +They make sausage in house at this location(and I’d assume share it with the downtown spot as well). +Plenty of vegan and gluten free options. +During the warmer months, they open up garage door-like walls to connect the interior to a giant patio. This location of Blatt definitely floats to the top of my list of spots to eat at when I’m in this particular slice of BFE.

I have been here a few times and I’m pretty sure it gets better every visit. They have a great drink menu and EXCELLENT food(definitely try the peanuts appetizer, a burger and, if you don’t mind fried food, the chicken tenders are incredible). The food, drinks, ambiance, décor, staff and so much more makes The Blatt West a great place to go no matter the occasion. The downtown location is also fantastic!

Went to the new location of Blatt Beer & Table in the Shops of Legacy plaza. Huge restaurant space with a large patio. Similar to downtown location, the garage style doors can be opened on nice days. I ordered the chicken and waffles dinner: cornbread & jalapeño waffles, chicken tenders, and side of maple syrup and black pepper gravy. Delicious! Food is reasonably priced and local beers(from Infusion and Brickway) are ½ priced during happy hour. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly.

Stopped in one day at the new location out west because we had only been to the beer garden downtown during the CWS, we had never tried the food. Not only the best burger in Omaha but the best burger I think I’ve ever had! No joke. I can’t wait to come back! I had The Blatt burger, my boyfriend had the Border Burger and we were both impressed. I have wanted to try the Legacy Blatt since it opened and last Saturday was finally my turn to try it. The atmosphere was almost as good as the North Downtown location, also deciding to use garage doors for this summer days. They have a large patio to the East which I will have to try on a next visit, and the same bar in the middle, with som if the best beers in town on tap. I believe I was told that they gave Pony Kegs so they can change out their beers quicker. I finally settled on Infusion’s Nitro Dry Stout which did not disappoint, later I was tweeted that I closed that keg out, in fact the one my beer keep was boasting had tapped out the previous day. We started off with their Sriracha Char-Fried Chicken wings which were pleasantly hot and still moist for Char-Fried, with plenty of true blue cheese sauce to go around. Then I was told that this West O location made their own sausages so of course it got Their Grilled Mix Sausage on a Stick. Beer-braised bratwurst, jalapeño Polish sausage & smoked kielbasa sausage with plenty of both German rosemary mustard, smoked tomato ketchup, and braised kraut, dill potato salad as my sides. I was in pig heaven, all the sausages were moist and cooked to my perfection. There were a few other items I want to try next, the waffles and chicken sound delicious, so I will have another review coming this summer.

My husbands favorite restaurant. Love the beer selection and menu. Have had several of the burgers, pretzel bites, falafel, chicken and waffles, and pulled pork and it’s always been great.

Third try wasn’t a try at all. After the wait staff watched us be seated and discussed our presence as a table, they apparently decided not to serve that table. After one very bad and one inconsequential visit before this, we chose to give this place a third chance. This was to be that chance. It was the last. When the newness wears off and more competition populates Legacy or the general area, this place will be begging for customers just as so many others who held customers in similar disregard did before going out of business.

I really enjoyed Blatt and look forward to coming back! We came in for a late lunch on a Wednesday afternoon and easily found a seat and were quickly greeted. No cocktails this time around but I definitely found some I would like to sample. My mom and I shared the Cobb salad and chicken and waffles. I really enjoyed the thick cut bacon on the Cobb salad but beyond that just your typical Cobb. Chicken and waffles were served with 2 sauces– a citrus maple syrup which paired amazingly with the jalapeño in the waffles and gravy for the chicken. The chicken came out piping hot with a nice crispy crust. I really enjoyed it but wouldn’t mind some extra seasoning. The décor was fun to admire from the mason jar lighting and historic black and white photos. All-in-all a great addition to the ever expanding Legacy area in west Omaha!

Just tried this place out, pretty crowded around 6pm on Sunday, but then it cleared out quickly. Prices are not bad for the food, beers are a little high, but then who isn’t! We had the Chicken and Waffles, very good! The waffles were made out of jalapeños and corn bread, with maple syrup. Took a bite of the roasted jalapeño pepper and whoa was it hot! We wanted to get the pretzel bites but it was a 20 minute wait so we passed. The atmosphere is totally a bar environment but nice. Weekends are hard to get a table!

Wow!!! If everything on the menu is a delicious as the Chicken and Waffles or the Chicken Fried Steak you’ll never go wrong. Will need extra sauce for your chicken and waffles. The chicken comes with a black peppered gravy sauce, I had enough for one tender. The waffles are a jalapeño corn bread waffle with an orange syrup and wow, what a combo!!! The chicken is crispy, tasty and plentiful. You won’t soon forget about this sweet-spicy combo. As much as I want to try about 4 other things, I keep thinking about when I can go back and have this again! Mom got the Chicken fried steak which came with a delicious mustard gravy. Don’t be scared of it, it’s perfect accompaniment! Both were very large portions and I took half mine home. Again, as with previous 2 times, the service is super friendly and helpful!!!

We checked out this cute new neighboorhood spot out for the first time, today, and can’t wait to go back when the garage doors go up this spring/summer and turn the whole place into an adorable patio. The beer selection is impressive and the happy menu is generous. We tried the Bavarian Pretzel Bites, and might just stop back for these alone! The Gouda Ale dip was SOSO good, the Mustard sauce was a bit out there though. I’m leaving it at four stars because of the service, my hubby showed up a bit late and I swear four servers walked by him– without even glancing over, let alone offering to get him a drink. For the record, the place wasn’t empty but it was far from packed. I hope I can get him to try it again, because he’d flip over the pretzel bites.

I took my Grandma to lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. I have been to the downtown location several times and loved it so I was excited to try the new location(which is much closer to my house). The service was a bit slow(possibly due to the fact that the location had only been open a few weeks), but our waiter was very friendly and even made small talk with my Grandma and boxed up her leftovers for her. The décor at this location is very similar to the location downtown, with garage doors for walls which can be opened for ventilation during nice weather. We started off with the Bavarian Pretzel Bites. They were fantastic! They are served with German Rosemary Mustard and Gruyère Fondue for dipping and both are great options. For my meal I ordered the Blatt Mac(Cavatappi pasta, cheddar béchamel, crispy panko and havarti crust, smoked paprika, chives). The flavor was great and the the panko crust really elevated the texture of the dish. My Grandma ordered the Manhandler(Smoked pulled pork, smoked kielbasa sausage, Blatt BBQ sauce, red onion, garlic dill pickles) which was pretty entertaining because she weighs about 110 pounds. This sandwich was huge and she reported that it was delicious(she took the leftovers home for dinner and possibly lunch the next day). This location is just as good as its downtown counterpart. The food is delicious and the décor is also nice. Parking can be a pain in Legacy but this building is slightly south of the main strip and has its own parking lot with ample parking. It makes a great addition to the other options in this area and I am excited that I can now enjoy Blatt without having to drive downtown.
