So finally … i get around to it. The 8th Annual Brew Haha was pretty awesome! think of this event as a Beerfest that happens to have a ‘Taste of Omaha’ mixed in. Not the gathering of 80+ breweries like a beerfest or the 60+ restuarants like ‘Taste’, but rather a nice blend of both. I was lucky enough to score a free pair of tix due to being a Unilocaler and couldn’t have been happier. I immediately jumped into an IPA or 3 from Farnam house and Infusion and then went on the search for that one that was going to be great and I couldn’t get anywhere else. I found it. South Omaha Brewers, SOB,(usually slang for South Omaha Boys) provided a cherry sour. Best of the night. I went back too many times! I love it. It would be all I drink in the Fall season! As far as food went, VooDoo Taco had some offerings that were above par. I really liked getting my LaCas fix on. Who wouldn’t love free food from a truck? Biaggios has a great cream of mushroom soup that hit the spot on this chilly night and after my prodding they produced their vegetarian version. I don’t know who would want meat in their veggie soup, but I am glad I asked. I can’t wait to go back next year
