My friends and I were searching for a taco truck to go to after our Halloween night and stumbled across this truck on Unilocal.Apparently, my friends have been to this truck before and said it’s pretty tasty. I got a quesadilla with al pastor. It was greasy, however pretty tasty. Tasty enough for me to want to go back the next morning(TODAY). This time I purchased 4 tacos: 2 al pastor and 2 asada, 1 asada burrito and an horchata. I’m saving the burrito to eat later but the tacos and horchata were good. I enjoyed the fact that I didn’t have to wait too long despite the crowd during lunch. The truck was cute with a little window in the front to allow you to choose whatever sauces and sides you want. The only thing I would recommend is knowing how to say the meat of your choice in Spanish. Other than that, the place attracted many different types of people and seem to do very well!

Best in the area. Always fresh veggies, delightfully seasoned meats, fat burritos & double corn tortilla wrapped authentic tacos. Chicken, adovada, cachete, lengua, asada all scrumptious. My fav is the flavorfully sweet alpastor. All this, cheap, fast, near I-80 y servicio con sonriso! I struggle to eat at any other Mexican restaurant.

Good value, decent options for tacos and burritos. They have maybe 10 – 12 meat options and the tacos were well seasoned and well garnished(you can add several toppings such as radish, lime, hot sauce, etc). I really enjoyed the burrito as well. I enjoyed Dos de Oros and this was a good taco truck.

Cleanliness 5 Service 5 Food 5 Overall 5 First time getting lunch from a food truck. I am sold. I ordered an Asada(steak) Burrito and it was delicious. For the price it was one of the best burritos you can get. They also offer this great avocado green cream sauce that is amazing as well. They prepared the food pretty fast and got the food to everyone even though there was a line. I will certainly be going back to get more and to try the other options that they have. I hear the Quesedillas are really good.

Great street tacos… actually found on the street at a food truck. They also server burritos(never had one) and tortas… also very good. Brush up on your Spanish meat names so you can try some of the more exotic offerings like stomach, tongue or ham. Also, the grande horchata is a bargain at $ 2!

Being born and raised in LA you get accustomed to seeing food trucks and loncheras outside of events and shows parked in parking lots with lines of people ordering food. Wanted to enjoy this Tuesday by celebrating Taco Tuesday and trying out a food truck here in Omaha. It was a bit hard to find at first since I didn’t know how the truck looked like(thanks to all those who took a picture of it). Then I found it! There were a few sketchy people around, but that didnt bug me cause I was hungry! I ordered two tacos de Carne Asada and a Horchata! My, my it was delicious! Can never get enough of street tacos on a Tuesday night. Reminded me of home :)

This is now located in Bellevue. The truck is parked in front of an old KFC on Galvin rd. The food is to die for, it is so good. We got 2 burritos and 2 tortas with red and green salsa. A great combination of flavors, homemade authenticity and heat. If you have never had authentic Mexican, you must try this place!

Best food truck in all the land. Well at least in Omaha. This is my favorite place to bring family and friends who visit me in Omaha from out of town. It always makes a good impression to everyone who loves food truck *gems* like Dos. The al pastor tacos are amazing if you like a little kick in your food. It comes with pineapple and cilantro and is to die for. If spicy isn’t your thing, check out the carne asada tacos and steak burritos. If I could give it «6» stars, I totally would.

I ate at the Dos de Oros(North) in the parking lot of O’Reilly Auto Parts on 24th St, a block south of Vinton. It looks to be just a standard do it yourself food truck, but with a nice condiment bar. I ordered four carnitas tacos and an alpastor burrito. They hand you two small cups to fill up with a choice of three salsas, traditional red and greens. My tacos came in a double corn tortilla with a nice pico de gallo, cilantro and onions mixed in the carnitas. they were a little dry but they almost soaked up the salsa good enough, making the tacos three stars. The burrito was good as well, but none were anything spectacular. Overall, just a standard Mexican food truck.

De Oros has two trucks, which led to some confusion on our part. Both are on 24th Street, but one is in the O’Reilley Autoparts parking lot at Vinton Street) and the other — the one listed on Unilocal here — is at G Street in the ‘Envios de Dinero’ parking lot. You can see it on Google Streetview and everything. This was an interesting taco tour stop for several reasons… first, it was super busy and on a busy street. Second, because this was the first time in my life I’ve met a quesadilla I didn’t like(old grease explosion is how I’d describe it) and third, because when I went across the street to use the restroom I considered using the mens single-holer since there was someone in the women’s… DON’T. That mens’ restroom is one of those restrooms you may have nightmares about.(Probably best to either pee before you go, or just drive right on by here in general). As you may have gathered, I wasn’t enamored with the food. Waiting in line… during the hottest part of the day may have had something to do with that? But really, the food was just kind of rough. Everything was kind of mushy and greasy, the Al pastor appeared to be topped with canned pineapple and even the shells weren’t really palatable. The coke was good and cold though.

I feel like three star reviews skew toward negative, but I don’t want anyone who’s reading this to think I didn’t enjoy my first trip to this tasty taco truck. Ordered up three tacos — two carnitas and a steak taco. Double corn tortillas and pico de gallo. I opted for no cilantro because, I hate to admit it, but I detest cilantro. Absolutely detest it. Tacos were good. Steak was the best. Got a few hard/cartilage bits in the carnitas tacos. Salsas were the star. Opted to mix the red and the green avocado salsa and they set the tacos off right. An ice cold real sugar Coke to wash it down? A very good lunch indeed.

Delish! Asada taco! Fresh. Cheap. Salsas are all very good. They also gave us meat to taste because I told them that I never heard of the meat. Yumm… I’ll be back.

Four tacos for $ 6? Hard to beat. Ordered two asada and two pastor. Even during the lunch rush, my order came up fast and fresh. They also have a little self-serve salsa bar, with three types of fresh salsa two mix and match plus various pickled veggies you can throw in on the side. The tacos were pretty basic — double corn tortilla, meat and cilantro and onion. They threw in some pineapple slices in the pastor tacos as well, but overall they were a bit greasy for my liking. The asada tacos were definitely the better of two. Looking forward to stopping by again in the future. My question is, is there more than one Dos de Oros truck? The one I went to was just south of 24th and Vinton.

Pretty much the best taco truck I have ever eaten at! I don’t know if NYC taco trucks have a reputation, but that’s the only trucks I have experienced and this one in OMaha beats them hands down! The prices are amazing– the meat is very tender. I had the beef tongue taco and chicken quesadilla all under $ 5. Delicious! Wish this could be closer to home :)

Best taco truck on 24th street. I don’t even waste my time at any of the other ones. Not only is the food good, it is cheap also. They have tacos, tortas, tostadas, and quesadillas. I have yet to eat anything here I didn’t like. If you want to eat at a taco truck I can’t recommend this one enough.

Just moved into town and tried their tacos… best tacos I’ve had in a long time. Made with real tortillas, great salsa, will definitely go back and get more!

This is a great food truck that attracts a diverse clientele. From Mexican workers to Irish nuns, the menu screams of authenticity. I’m sure you can get a whole pig’s head here upon request. But I always get a steak burrito for exactly $ 3. If you know Spanish, that’s a plus. Otherwise, you will spend more time trying to understand the cashier than they take to make your food. Why spend $ 7 at Panchero’s when you can have authentic meals here for half the price?

MUST. GO. HERE! This place is the best find ever! Yes, there are many other taco stands on 24th street, but come on. Would you go to one that has NO line? Or one that has a line that goes down the street! I choose Dos De Oros! Their tacos are super cheap at 1.50 a piece. We usually get four! They are so good! My husband last got a burrito, combined with a couple bags of chips we got away with paying like 10.00 for everything. Another thing we really like about this place is that when you eat their burrito, you don’t see a whole bunch of oil coming out the sides. I mean, how can you go wrong?! Super cheap AND super good. I definitely choose this place over most Mexican places, but only go when we have time to stand in line. Love this place. Will go again.

Dos de Oros is the taco truck usually parked at 24th& G. My one beef with taco trucks(no pun intended) is that most of them in Omaha charge the same price for a burrito regardless of what goes in it. Aka a steak burrito costs the same as a bean burrito. I’m pretty sure you can buy a dump truck full of pinto beans for like a nickle. Therefore my burrito should not cost $ 4.50. Dos de Oros serves delicious food that is priced accordingly. Also the self serve salsa bar is awesome!
