Seems to be understaffed for a Saturday. Took 10 minutes to place an order and then was told it would be 15 minutes to get our lunch. The soda machine was out of ice. Glad the people sitting next to the machine told us to use another machine.

Friendly staff and quick service. The people at this Firehouse Subs are great. I love coming in and talking with the servers as they make my sandwich. I wish other places were as well run as them.

Friendly staff, great food, and clean dining areas. We walked in and the guy at the register was helping someone and one of the guys who makes the sandwiches asked what he could get started for us as we waited to order. How awesome is that! Less waiting. Sandwiches were cooked as ordered along with the pickle spear on the side! Love the hats for kids! Cookies were good, some were extra soft and gooey while others were hard and over cooked. Something for everyone. They do have the big coke machine with the 100 different choices. The only thing is some of the selections were unavailable. Overall great experience, would definitely return.

Phenomenal sandwhiches. My favorite is the Turkey bacon Ranch. Definitely recommend. I like how they donate to charity. They also have a Coke freestyle machine. Awesome

Omg I love this place. The subs are so different from others quick sub places. The Italian is my fave!!! I’m glad there are more locations in Omaha! Keep it up! Quick and friendly service always. Lunch time is always busy. But worth it.

Great subs. I really like bread and tasty meats. The N Y Steamer is the greatest. I visit st least once every couple of weeks. Their staff is always friendly and welcoming. So many of these fast food places act like you are a pain to serve. Not Firehouse!

Damn. Fresh, warm, and better than Jimmy Johns and Which Wich. Try the classic meatball sub– it doesn’t disappoint.

went to firehouse subs today. what a great place to eat. I had the hook and ladder and my husband had the steak and cheese. Not your typical sub place. The bread was fresher, and you could tell that the meat was not processed. would definitely go there again and again

Best subs in town! Just ate here last night and got the Italian — husband got the bbq sandwich, which I sampled and also loved. Great food and great service. One of the employees offered to take our trash from us after we had finished and we’re just talking at the table. A nice touch!

Have gone here both times that I have been in Omaha for the night. They have very good subs and they are so much fresher than any other sub I have ever had. The service is great and the employees are very friendly. They have a huge selection of hot sauce options that you can add to your sandwich as well as a Coke machine that has about 1000 different options. Definitely worth every penny every time!

Subs are very good! — Have been here twice now and it is a great place for a good lunch. Prices are reasonable. Staff is very friendly and they know their menu.

These sandwiches are so delicious! They steam their meat and cheese away from the bread and do a great job at ensuring the bun doesn’t get soggy which can really ruin a sandwich. Upon walking in the door you are greeted by the staff with a big«Welcome to Firehouse!» It makes you smile! An awesome selling point is the variety of hot sauces provided for your sampling and addition to your sandwich to help add a little extra spice! Additionally, they have one of those new Coke fountain drink machines where you can have just about any flavor of beverage you like! If you have time, stop in a grab a sub-so yummy and satisfying!

It is a little over priced for what you get but the sandwiches are legit. It reminds me of when Quiznos first came on the scene. The New York steamer was awesome with just the right amount of mustard and mayo to compliment the corned beef and pastrami. The coke freestyle machine was a nice touch as well. All in all it was a great sandwich. It is definitely worth checking out. It is clean, kid friendly and lived up to the hype. I will be back!

First timer so not a lot to build on. Nice open shop with what looks like a decent selection of sandwiches. Went with the Meatball with the Sweet & Spicy sauce. Good sandwich but sauce wasn’t sweet or spicy. Guess I need to try regular sauce next time so I have baseline. Being a person who enjoys spicy food, I loved the condiment bar. It had a wide selection of hot sauces to chose from. Spent more time selecting a hot sauce then I did a sandwich. The condiment bar alone is enough to select this place over the other shops. I look forward to returning to see if I can become a fan but they are definitely off to a good start!

Great hot sub selection for meat lovers, but not so much for vegetarians/vegans. I like to think of myself as an omnivore. I love meat of all kinds, but I can equally be happy with well crafted vegetarian/vegan fare. Firehouse subs though really caters to those who like meat, and I mean a lot of meat. The most touted sandwich here is the meatball sub, and after watching several pass by my table, it is one that I regret not ordering. I did love the New York Steamer that my husband ordered(and I demanded half of). The pastrami and corned beef were wonderfully flavorful and rich with no mayo needed. He definitely won the meal with that sub while my Engineer with turkey, swiss and sauteed mushrooms fell to a far second place. I am not sure the point to sauteing canned mushrooms, but that is what their slightly rubbery/industrial texture were telling me they were. The seating area is on the small side, but they definitely do a brisk takeout business. They are another one of the Omaha area restaurants that has a Coke Freestyle machine, which is always fun for inventive if sometimes more interesting then good pop combinations

Firehouse subs is my new favorite sub shop. They have a bunch of sandwich suggestions that you can make into combo meals. The best is the Hook and ladder, which has Virginia honey ham and turkey. The sweetness of the meat and the freshness of the bread complement each other so well. I top mine with hot sauce and lettuce(I know, to each her own sandwich…). I love how they offer to round up your bill to the nearest dollar to donate to the local fire department. And they have one of those digital coke machines, which are pretty bad ass in the realm of soft drinks. I like how they always say welcome to firehouse when you come in. It annoys me a little when you walk into a restaurant and your presence goes totally unnoticed. Great service and knowledgable sandwich makers!

Their focus here is on hot subs. Good selection. Friendly staff. Huge selection of hot sauces to put on your sub. Ate at one of these in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and I’m happy to see they’re in Omaha now too.

No complaints about this place. Was here shortly after it opened and everything was good… service and food. When i saw this place going in, i thought«hey just what we need, more sandwich shops!» It appears they lean toward the hot sub options(though most are available cold as an option iirc), which is a welcome change from JJ’s, blimpie, et al. I had the meatball sub. Very good. No one thing made it good, but the combination of the bread, quality meatballs, cheese, etc made it a great meatball sub.

Had a Pepperoni sub. Everything about it and the whole experience was excellent. They made it just the way I asked. The bread was great, the ingredients fresh. It’s a little more expensive than Subway, but worth it. The staff were very attentive and helpful to first time customers.
