I used to play trivia at this bar which lead to me being here at least once a week. Depending on the night you come in the service is either decent with good drinks, or tends t be kind of abysmal. If Rita is working you can assume you drinks will be fast, correct, and tasty, otherwise I cant make the same guarantee on drink speed and quality. The food is decent. Its not the greatest food I’ve had, its far from the worst. Its better than most bar food since this bar benefits from having a full kitchen since it is located inside of the Marcus dine-in theatre. Large number of tv’s and they seem to get almost every sporting event.

Drinks were great! Food was horrendous, Very cold, cheese was not melted, chicken was processed and came as little cubes. Blahhhhhhhh

Went here towards the tail end of happy hour on a Friday. It’s in the building with the movie theatre. Lots of televisions and windows, made for a chill mood. There was a group of older ladies celebrating someone’s birthday or something. They were dancing, drinking and laughing. Kind of loud, but mostly in a good way. When my friend and I came in, one of the bartenders(Charles?) told us they were short staff and was ready to take our order. He said this in a nice way. And, it became clear, as we ordered our half price appetizers, that he and the woman there were swamped. They were nice, don’t get me wrong, but I had to go to the bar and ask for napkins and flatware. While I was at the bar, waiting to ask for the flatware, one of the older women seemed to be fussing at poor Charles; she seemed demanding. He tried to handle it graciously, and I feel bad for him. The female server, when I approached her about the missing flatware seemed flummoxed for a second and said she had given me flatware. She did not. Maybe she thought I was with the party group? Anyhoo, after that, she seemed to feel bad and came by multiple times for refills and other things. We had baked cheese ravioli – pretty good. Nice and gooey cheese inside. We had chicken sliders. My friend liked the sweet pickles on there. They came with an orangy-colored sauce-not sure what that was? I stuck with mustard and ketchup. They were pretty good. We also ordered the cheeseburger sliders. Not a fan of onion rings, so I picked them off. But, for the price of the three appetizers, it wasn’t bad. We didn’t drink any alcohol, so I can’t vouch for that, but I’d go again.

I rated this place 4 starts because the build — out and design is great, perhaps even Vegas worthy. Perfect place to unwind a little. My only issue is that it had a bit of an identity crisis: not really sure if they want to be a swanky martini lounge or a sports bar. Drinks are moderately priced depending on what you order, very reasonably priced martinis, especially if you are visiting from a larger city with a much more developed scene. If you’re looking for a low-key place to sit and converse with friends, this is your spot. If you’re looking for a «bumping» night club, look elsewhere.

I go here every once in a while for happy hour or drinks on the weekend. It’s a chill place that’s never very crowded. The bartenders are all very cheerful and helpful, and they have lots of fun drinks and martinis. They have a full selection of different flavored vodka and rum. The food is much better-than-average bar food. I’ve had the fried pickles, chicken skewers, bruschetta, and bang bang shrimp, and it was all yummy. The shrimp was skimpy and not worth the price(like, 6 shrimp for $ 12), but it was good. They don’t have a patio, so smokers have to go downstairs and stand outside the front of the theater. The bartender last night told us that a balconey patio might be in the works, though.

I’ve been to Glo Lounge a few times usually right before or after a movie at the movie theatre. It feels a little bit like a hotel bar but it does feel like a bar and not an after thought. They have large screen tv’s, great seating, a DJ on Saturday nights, awesome views of the Midtown Crossing, and decent drink prices. I think it would be a decent after work hangout for a beer if you work or live nearby and don’t want to deal with the crowds at Crescent Moon up the street. But don’t get me wrong, this place doesn’t compare to the Moon.

Glo Lounge is the bar connected to the new Marcus Theater. Tried it last night for the fist time and will prolly never go back, but I gave it three stars because I think there would be a lot of people that would like this place. It’s just not the place for me. Based off the promotional information I have seen, I guess I expected it to be a little bit more lounge-y and swanky and less like I was in a Dave and Busters.
