Ordered delivery from here today. It took awhile longer than the app quoted. When we called to inquire, we were told what happened was a fluke. They didn’t even have a driver when we ordered, and the app is set to not take deliveries before then. Oh well. He apologized and so did the driver. Food was so good! Their crab rangoon was FAB!!! Lots of places make it sweet, which I don’t like. This was perfect. The wonton was perfectly cooked and the cream cheese and crab were perfect, not like cream cheese and sugar pretending to be crab. I had the chicken fried rice. I got all white meat, which is my preference. It was a little overloaded with peas and carrots(more than what I prefer), but that’s just me. Still very flavorful. My friend had the chicken ramen. That was TOTALLYAMAZE!!! My only complaint is I’m only in Omaha about once a month, so I can’t order them again later this week!

Still found the food good, pretty average. Didn’t expect to be served at tables compared to the fast food style of lunch. Seafood Ramen seemed a bit randomly thrown together but still good.

First time wont be the last had the chicken ramen and was impressed. Lots of meat in the ramen which impressed me good value for the amount of food. The guy at the register did a good job recommending dishes.

I hadn’t been here in a long time since the last time I went it was pretty mediocre, but I decided to give it a second try. I ordered the Veggie Udon with fried Tofu to go. They charged me $ 2.50 extra for the tofu, but then while I was waiting the server told me they just ran out of tofu. Fine not a big deal. I asked if they could put egg in it instead and the waiter offered to double veggies. Great. But when I got home with my to go order — there was no egg and no extra veggies and it was even missing broccoli. Such a rip off especially since I already paid extra. So lame! :(

This place makes actual Pan Asian food seem like Authentic Asian food. If you are a not-well-travelled spam-loving, I-love-Panda-Express type, you won’t have any issues with this place. If you think Ramen comes in a box of 12 for $ 2.99, don’t read any further. The Phở here is lacking in one factor that makes Phở what it is: Broth. The broth is a flavorless Nestlé Bouillon disaster. A Bouillon Tsunami, if you will. Then comes the terrible noodles which I think are bought at Walmart in the 99 cent pasta aisle. You can’t get more authentic than that! Oh, if you think their Peanut Butter Chicken tastes like Satay Chicken, you will regret it. You will feel like a Fool. A Fool, I tell you. Their version is as sweet and salty just as a jar of Peter Pan would be if you cook Chicken with it and then drizzle a pound of Corn Syrup on top. You might as well eat a PBJ sandwich and come out happier. The one star is for the design of the place which reminded me of hawker centers in Singapore. Also, Unilocal doesn’t allow any lower ;)

Pana 88 is my new favorite place to get Chinese food from. If you want to eat in you seat yourself and a waiter will take your order and serve you, If you want take out just go to the front counter and order. The entire staff was really nice, it seemed clean, and had a good atmosphere! My table ordered crab Rangoon to share, which came out after our entrees, but our waiter apologized several times for the mistake. The crab Rangoon’s were very good and tasted fresh. I ordered sesame chicken with the fried rice and everything was delicious. Someone else at my table ordered a side salad and chicken fried rice and I didn’t hear any complaints from them! Our food came out fast and hot and everything tasted very fresh. I will for sure be back in the future.

So we went again a few months ago and I forgot to review. And again, it was nothing special, the food boring and tasteless. It was all 5 of us this time, and none of us liked it very much and left feeling hungry. :(

Hit or miss. Consistency isn’t always the same on take out. Egg rolls burnt tonight and they still sent me home with them and last month shrimp lo mein had 2 shrimp. Check your orders before you leave

I love pana 88. Their crab rangoon is the best I’ve ever had. They have great ramen, spicy broth, really yummy everything. I recommend the Yins chicken, Mongolian Beef, Beef fried rice, and crab rangoon.

Appetizers — Potstickers — I would rate this a 3 of 5 stars, tastes similar to something you would buy from the Asian stores from the frozen section. The temperature is warm, could be hotter. The outside shell was a little too chewy and slimy texture for me with a somewhat bland filling. Crab Rangoons– I have ordered these about 5 times and I would say the only bad thing I could say is that it isn’t consistent. Some times it would not be as flaky and hot(in temperature). When it is good, it has the right amount of filling of cream cheese, crunchy and light flaky texture and the right temperature. The red sauce that goes with the appetizer is usually on point! Entrée — Chicken fried rice — big portions, has the standard veggies like peas and carrots. Pretty tasty for the money you spend on this dish. Chicken ramen(spicy) — I wanted to try this once just so I can review it and taste it myself despite mixed reviews. I ordered spicy version and it was not at all spicy, so I added more Sriracha to give it more spice. The noodle consistency was pretty good except that it became very soft after a couple of minutes. The broth was probably what makes me not want to order it again. It was pretty bland, like soy sauce broth. The veggies in the broth were sparse and could have added more. I wouldn’t mind paying more for a more complex miso based broth with more veggies! Overall, I give Pana 88 a 3 stars due to location and mediocre fast Chinese food. One thing I do like is that I don’t feel disgusted after eating the food. Some Chinese fast food places I would feel gross and feel as if it was too greasy.

Walked in and super clean and classy restaurant and the décor was super nice, new and modern. Got a free crab Rangoon for just signing up for their program which was super cool. Restaurant was mainly clean and super upscale. Prices were moderate. I got the teriyaki chicken. Portions were good sized could have been bigger. Food was super good and flavorful could have been warmer tho. The sauce was so good, rice was exceptional and crab Rangoon’s were top notch. My only complaint was there wasn’t a lot of chicken and so many huge onion slices I won’t eat and too much rice. Bathroom was clean but freezing. Overall I would for sure come back and some super tasty food

Show them your Creighton ID and get free Crab Rangoons with your meal! This place has the best SHRIMPFRIEDRICE that I have ever had. Quick service and and a very modern atmosphere. Great place for grab a quick bite! They even serve alcohol: specials everyday depending of the day of the week!

Never again. I ordered delivery from this place because it’s close and sort of cheap, but I literally had to throw out what they brought me after a few bites and make my own dinner. I got the beef ramen and egg rolls. The«beef ramen» was a loaf of disgusting mushy noodles with about tiny ¼ cup of accompanying sludge, oh, and there were about 4 – 6 sad pieces of beef buried in there too. I tried to eat it but I just couldn’t, it was the grossest take out I’ve ever seen in my 30 years. The egg rolls were thick, chewy, greasy, and pretty bottom of the barrel too. Waiting hungrily for almost an hour for delivery and then being handed this«food» could be a legitimate form of torture.

Inexpensive yet decent asian fusion cuisine. I’ve had some hits and misses. I really enjoy the sweet and sour shrimp. I am not a fan of the«fried rice» side dish — it is just rice warmed up with soy sauce. Get the white rice as your side. I’ve had the ramen twice — the first time, it was tasteless goop because I got it to go? and the second time, I ate in house, and it was better. I prefer their other noodles, like the yaki soba or lo mein. I am a fan of the appetizers — the eggrolls, crab rangoon, and beef short ribs are all very good. My husband orders Yin’s Chicken frequently, but I think it has too much garlic. So if you are in the mood for quick chinese food and you are in the area, give Pana a try!

Best crab Rangoon I have ever had. Calamari was good too. Wife and I split fried rice and sesame chicken. It was nice big pieces of chicken with surprisingly light tasting breading. This was our first time here and we will make the return trip whenever in town!

I would recommend trying Pana 88 during happy hour. The prices on the appetizers are more manageable, and there are a few options for drinks depending on the day of the week. My favorite appetizer is the spicy edamame, which reminds me of the garlicky flavors of Chengdu. The crab rangoons are probably my favorite in town, but don’t expect much of the«sweet and sour sauce» or whatever that is supposed to be. Instead, look forward to the sauce that comes with the gyoza. The gyoza are deep fried instead of pan fried, like they do at Thirst-tea. Not my favorite, but the sauce goes well with the scallion pancakes, which are oddly both bland and addicting. I saw another reviewer received three sauces with the scallion pancakes, but I did not. Definitely get the spicy version of the ramen if you want some flavor, and please add the egg. I only eat this in the colder months however, when I want something warm and filling. My partner says the broccoli beef is EVENBETTER than Rice Bowl’s, which he has been eating regularly for years. So I suppose that’s saying something. In summary, Pana 88 is okay. If I didn’t live in walking distance, I probably wouldn’t bother coming here.

If you follow me on Unilocal it’s no surprise I’m a ramen fanatic so of course I had to find some ramen in Omaha. PANA88 is a walk up «fast food» style Asian bistro. I went with the gyoza beef spicy miso ramen added egg and bamboo shoots. Far from a traditional ramen but tasty. The egg was prepared over easy which was a twist I liked however the broth lacked a lot of flavor and the noodles were a bit soft for my taste. I also decided to try the gyoza dumplings on the side which once again were good. Excellent customer service and a help yourself soda fountain bumped up this ok spot from 2 stars to 3. It’s worth a stop if you have to get your ramen fix as I do most of the time.

I came here on a Saturday to eat ramen. I ordered the chicken ramen. It came after two rounds of appetizers, chicken wings and kim chi. PBRs were $ 1. Our server was also the cashier. He was watching basketball, rooting for Kentucky. Friendly guy. My ramen needed to cool for a few minutes after it arrived. Thin strips of chicken raised to the top when I stirred the broth, noodles and vegetables. Usually, ramen is a put-it-in-your-gullet-as-fast-as-possible meal. On this day, it was something to be eaten slowly. Between fishing for bites and slow sips of soothing, warm soup, I noticed straw wrappers and crumbs on the floor. Once I finished my meal, I got up, paid and walked out. But I’ll likely return for another bowl of ramen and definitely the kim chi.

This place is bad. I decided to give it another chance last week because of a Ramen craving and it was decent enough so I went again today. Beef Ramen with an egg. After eating about 15% of it, I stumbled upon what looks like a bug. Even my coworker thought it definitely has the full anatomy of a bug. The Pana 88 staff brings it to the back room then comes to me with 3 excuses in 1: «Its from the Hoisin sauce or from the grill. I used my fingers to break it apart so it’s not a bug». First of all, you should never try to persuade your customer that it’s not a bug when it looks like one. Just say sorry and ask what you can do. Secondly, it’s soup so nothing is grilled and Hoisin sauce does not leave bug-like particles. They didn’t even say sorry or anything. Way to treat your customers! Definitely my last time at this restaurant.

We found ourselves tonight in Midtown hungry and even though this place had very mixed reviews my husband talked me into it. I’m picky when it comes to Asian food in general so I guess that might have something to do with it. Firstly I get there and I asked if their broth for their ramen had mushrooms in it. I am allergic to mushrooms so this is important to me. She seemed very annoyed but went back and asked the cook who said no, so we sat down and looked over the menu. It’s nothing spectacular, a few simple Ameri-Asian dishes that are pretty standard anywhere you go. My husband and I decided to order several things to try, figuring I could always take home leftovers. Pot stickers: These were on their daily specials board for 50¢ each. They tasted pretty good, it was by the far the best thing we tried there. They tasted like pork and chicken, although I’m honestly not sure, and they had green onion in them. They were also steamed. Served with a vinegar soy sauce blend it was yummy. Yin’s chicken: This is essentially general chicken. The guy working tonight suggested this if I wasn’t just there for the ramen. This was probably the second best thing I ate. Although it tasted like it came out of a box. It was served with white rice that tasted like minute rice that had gone dry for awhile. I wasn’t too impressed, thankfully the sauce softened the rice to make it edible. Chicken Lo Mein no mushrooms: Greasy. That pretty well sums up this dish. The veggies were perfectly cooked but it was very oily. The soy sauce(see photo of the cute bottles) didn’t really absorb at all and you could see the oil pooling at the bottom of the dish. It lacked any real flavor. Chicken Ramen with hard cooked egg no mushroom: NASTY! I was VERY disappointed in this dish. The egg was yummy and I ate that, but the soup was inedible. Firstly, it looked like packet ramen from the store with veggies thrown in. That aside my husband and I both agreed it tasted like fermented seafood something mixed with dish water. Imagine mixing kimchi and shrimp broth. The smell alone was making me sick and I could not eat this, neither could my husband and he has a cast iron stomach. «white» mochi: I knew this was premade and I was okay with that. What I didn’t expect was it was like frozen mochi that they microwaved and put into a dish. I’ve never had warm daifuku? I know it was microwaved because the inside was very warm and half of one side was hot and the other was almost frozen. It was okay but please serve this cold or all the way hot. Food aside the thing tying my ramen for worst of the night was service. The woman working there, who never gave her name, was probably the most miserable person I’ve seen in food service.(I’ve seen happier people at mcdonalds for crying out loud). She was really snotty, obviously hates her job, and could have cared less about us. When she came over to ask how I liked the food I told her I really hated the ramen. Her response was«Okay» and she walked off. REALLY?!! Are you serious?! No cares at all. When we got the bill, I made my husband say something. She«talked to someone» and it was taken off the bill. She said some people just don’t like ramen. –_– The décor was pretty, they have several tvs on the wall. They have several specials, mostly alcohol related, and some daily food specials. Overall If I wanted some quick pot stickers to go, yeah I’d consider getting them again, but no I wouldn’t eat here and I wouldn’t suggest this to my friends or family. Our bill ended up being around $ 23. Also, the portions are probably half of what you’d get in a typical Chinese place so take that into account. & an hour later my stomach is hurting, I assume from all the grease. (Unfortunately I lost most my photos, but you can see the ramen, mochi, part of the menu, cute soy sauce bottle, and«yin’s» aka general chicken)
