Possibly my favorite sandwich, tea and dessert place in town. The atmosphere is so relaxing and welcoming, the food is very tasty and you have to get a fruit tart or slice of cake to finish your meal and make your day!

Great spot for brunch, hanging out with friends and reading books. If you are planning to do homework here, the Internet is not really fast and they tend to get pretty busy and noisy during lunch time and dinner. They also lack of outlets so if your laptop runs out of battery and the place is packed, you don’t really have any option. Overall, very lovely and comfortable place to hang out with friends. Foods: decent selections from soup, salad, sandwich and quiche. Serving size is average(some people might think it’s small). The foods are good but not great and there is no wow factor here. Desserts: hit and miss. For example, their crème brûlée is great while some of the bakeries(cake and pie) can be really dried and tasteless. Tips: just because it looks good that doesn’t mean it tastes great. Coffee: decent price but nothing special. Just like any other coffee drinks. They are not a coffee house if that makes any sense. So if you expect some out of this world coffee, this is not the place. Overall, I really like this place. It’s right in the corner of MTC and the view is very nice. I love reading a book or catching up with my friends here. The servers are friendly and the place is nice and clean. I would recommend this hang out spot to anyone.

Nice little sandwich shop. Prices are about what you would expect for a café in the Midtown Crossing area. I work near here so I eat at this restaurant frequently and I would definitely say the quality is good when it comes to their sandwiches. Think of it as a fancier version of Panera Bread, definitely the«hipster» scene. Side dishes are not too impressive, the bakery choices are wonderful though. Cheesecake, key line, raspberry chocolate cake, cookies, and much much more. They also have different types of quiche which is ok. The sandwiches and desserts are probably their better selling points.

Let me start by saying this would be a 4 star review, but I cannot abide a coffee shop with wifi slow enough to make a 2800 Baud-rate modem connection look fast. If you’ve read my review of Spielbound( ) then you know that I’m a remote security systems architect that works from a different coffee shop each day of the week and that usable WiFi is essential. Delice does *NOT* meet that requirement. If you use an SSL portal VPN, their internet wont even let your VPN connect. IPSec/PPTP works, barely, but once your connected you end up with terminal lag, and your browser will only load 1 page per minute. I don’t know if this is by design and thats how Delice has structured their WiFi to keep people from working from their establishment, or if they are just cheap and have the lowest tier Cox/Centurylink plan. But I’m getting off topic. Back on topic: The drinks are good, and the prices are fair, and if you are a sucker for flavored lattes, like myself, well then this is the place for you. They have around 20 different predesigned drinks, and they seem to also be willing to make whatever you ask for. The quality used to be better, but there seems to have been a bit of internal turnover and maybe the new baristas were still in training last time I went in. The food is also good. I like to get the club croissant, but my wife has tried far more of the menu and has yet to find something she didnt like.

Coffee is fantastic, and the apple turnovers are one of the greatest pastries I’ve had anywhere. Wait times can be a little long if there’s a line, but that’s kind of to be expected. Really nice atmosphere inside when they have the fireplace going.

I do not understand the low reviews for this place, but then again, I’ve only been once. This place is very nice. My girlfriend and I were having a bit of a sugar crave since we’ve been on the Atkins diet for months. We tried the pistachio lemon cake and it was sooo good. My girlfriend also had the coffee and said it was delicious and I can tell you for sure the lemonade was good. Don’t judge me, some people don’t know how to make lemonade and this was the perfect lemon to sugar ratio. Also the cashier was super sweet and helpful! Check this place out!

Meh. I used to come here a few times a month, because I was without internet and it was one of the closest places to get it. The coffee isn’t anything special, it kind of reminds me of Folgers. Not a bad thing, but not something I want to pay a lot of money for. The selection of pastries and savory things can be good depending on when you get there, but I feel like I never got that right. The quiche isn’t half bad(when they have it), and a few of there cakes are all right. The staff are hit and miss and this places fills up like a Starbucks with college kids on laptops, so if you want a spot, I suggest NOT during peak hours. Just meh, nothing real special. «free» wi-fi, overpriced treats, and snobby college kids.

Been here numerous times since recently moving to the midtown area from downtown(yeah, I don’t know why I left downtown either). I have not tried any of their bakery/food items, however, I’m not sure I would be patient enough to wait. I went last Friday and again this morning(Monday). Friday I had about a 9 minute wait, which was OK, but still relatively unacceptable. I really enjoyed my hot vanilla latte. However, this morning I waited over 15 minutes for my latte from walking in the door to receiving it. There was only one person in front of me who had been waited on. Unfortunately, my latte was nothing special(I didn’t even finish it… And I had a case of the Mondays). Not sure what the Owners are doing here… you’re in a great location… But I do not want to wait 15 minutes for a latte. Get more help, suit up and help behind the counter yourself if you’re not already. I must say, I would have been a weekly customer, but I am extremely hesitant to come back here, at least before work. I’d rather head to Blackstone’s new coffee spot, or even downtown’s wide array of shops. #GiveMeCaffeineFreakyFast

I work across the street so it is one the our quick options for a bit to eat or get a drink. I have not been very impressed every time I have gone in here. The food is OK but is overpriced. The coffee isn’t really that good. And I feel like customer service lacks quite a bit.

I can walk to Delice, which is convenient, because it helps me burn off some of the calories from freakin’ eating there. Never ever have I eaten lunch there, but I get pastries all the time and they make me SO happy. Delice is one of the few bakery-esque places in Omaha that has multiple gluten-free options on the daily! Their macarons are pretty good(though some of the flavors they have sometimes make me shake my head. Kettle corn? NOTREFINEDENOUGHFOR A MACARON), but the real stars of the show in my heart are the Chocolate Delice and the Matrimony Cake. Son of a gun! Get me a non-dairy almond joy latte and a Chocolate Delice and just let me die there. Their lunch options look mostly sandwich-y, which is a no-go for me. They do have a couple of salad options that I’ll probably try at some point. But if you need a gluten-free dessert fix, this place is gonna be your jam. Just ask! They have a little pull-out menu behind one of the bakery cases with a list of which desserts are gluten-free. A word of caution: I have been there on occasion and not even been acknowledged for 5 minutes. Make your presence known, and don’t be afraid to ask for help. It sucks that you may have to, but it’s better than just standing there awkwardly.

Went in for coffee as a stopover before Brix opened for lunch. Drinks were a on the high side but tasty. Definitely some good looking treats in the cases but not sure if this qualifies as a European bakery. Will go back to try some of the food when we are in the area again just to get the full experience. As a side note, outside seating is limited but nice — can get some shaded spots.

I ordered a sandwich and the black and white brownie. The. Black and white brownie was pretty amazing. It was a huge chocolate chewy brownie with a cream cheese like top layer. Each corner was dipped in chocolate bark. I loved the crunch of the chocolate shell with the chewy brownie inside. The employees acted inconvenienced when I ordered, so not the best service.

I have stopped in here about a half dozen times. Every time I have gotten a redeye coffee(regular coffee mixed with a shot of espresso). One of the best I have ever had. Really smooth and very little bite. Really love it. I have not, however, eaten anything. The food in the glass often looks rather stale and unappetizing. BUT, that being said, it could be good?!

I got a selection of pastries to go and a coffee here. The pastries are all pretty nice, but the actual desserts look amazing. I need to come back here with a sweet tooth to explore a couple of them. The coffee is very nice… they always have a couple of selections, with one from a local/artisinal roaster.

Sausage Breakfast Burrito for under $ 5 was so good I ate it cold and refused to photograph it b’c I was in a hurry I’d come back to impress a shallow coffee date, you know someone who thinks Panera’s is fancy but doesn’t realize it’s a chain? They’d be all up in Delice.

I like the atmosphere, services and coffee/tea they serve except for pastries. The coffee shop is quiet and the music is not too loud nor too quiet so it’s a good place for people to chat, read a book, use computers, etc without being annoyed by surroundings. I had macarons, éclair and tarts. They weren’t that good. It’s like pastries are made in a factory. I have high standers as much as I love pastries especially macarons and croissants. I’ve been hopeful by far even in Omaha, NE though it’s quite hard for me to find as great as the croissants, macarons and some other pastries i had in some cities in both Italy and France. I stop ordering pastries there but drinks are fine so I still recommend my friends to go to Delice to enjoy drinks and atmosphere

I’m torn… on the one hand, I had some tasty treats tonight… the hot chocolate was pretty good, and it’s certainly a good spot for a final treat after a good meal with friends… however, I think that the prices on some of their items, especially the smaller ones, leaves a lot to be desired… some, like the tiramisu are a good size for the price… but others, you wonder where’s the high charge coming from… free WiFi so that’s a plus… I would come back since I enjoyed my experience…

Meh, just meh. Overpriced and no substance. It caters to those who live in Mid Town Crossing. Italian Cream Cake.- Not too sweet but rather bland. The cream was a nice constancy, the cake was moist but nothing to write home about. Tiramisu.- More cake than cream, not enough coffee flavor. It was eh. Napoleon. — I had wanted more of a flaky layering of puff pastry but I got cake. The sugar layer on top was an overpowering mouthful of sweet. I didn’t care for it. Black and White Brownie — This was the best of the bunch. A cheesecake layer over a moist brownie enrobed in a hard chocolate shell. It all just worked well together. Crème Brulee.- Nice and smooth, the right amount of burnt sugar to custard. I only got a little taste as She sucked it right down. Hot Chocolate — It was okay, he said. Though he didn’t finish it. Italian soda — Delicious! I asked for a raspberry/vanilla. I finished it too quickly and at $ 3.75 for 12 oz. It was cost prohibitive to get another. Chocolate Bread Pudding.- No, just no. It was lumpy and not in a good way. It tasted off. We took two bites and sent it back. The ladies at the counter were understanding and willingly swapped it out for another black and white brownie and a petit four. The atmosphere is okay. I think they need more seating. For the prices, you shouldn’t have to busy your own tables. They offer journaling materials for sale and plenty of outlets for your computer. Free WiFi too. It’s a place for yuppie hipsters, interchangeable with a Starbucks. I think I would have preferred a Starbucks.

Ugh. Unfortunately I have to write a bad review. I came here today to study and the outlet availability was just SAD. Not only that the wifi was so bad that I got kicked off of it on multiple occasions. I even restarted my computer in hopes that it would connect better. It didn’t. I couldn’t even watch a youtube video. That’s how bad it was. To make things worse. I ordered a café au lait. A pretty easy standard drink. Right? The coffee was weak and lacking flavor. I texted my friend and said: «Ugh, Delice sucks and the coffee tastes like butthole.» While the servers and staff are nice. The ambiance is great. Delice just fails me. I don’t think I can come back here.
