Feeling really hungry and needing something quick to go a few weeks ago, I decided to bring home a regular size Original Italian on white done Mike’s Way. The service was friendly and quick since there were no other customers. Portions of meat, cheese, lettuce and tomato were very generous though I did ask for a few more onions. As others have mentioned, it did taste a lot like Little King though that could be due to the heavy dousing of oil and vinegar which I like. Made the bread a little soggy which was okay since it was a bit crustier than I prefer. A bit pricier than competition like Blimpie or Subway but a nice change of pace. I would try it again.

Ate at Jersey Mike’s for lunch today. I was a bit disappointed. The help at the counter was pretty disorganized and not very friendly. I ordered a giant size chicken parm sandwich to share with my wife. We both found the marinara to be bland, and the breaded chicken was not overly flavorful. Basically it was a pretty tasteless sandwich. Maybe their other selections are better, I doubt we’ll be back to find out.

Went here to try their roast beef sandwiches, which I heard were really good. But they’re out of roast beef at 1 o’clock in the afternoon? So I had to get an Italian sub which was not very good and overall not thrilled with this place

The Good: Service was excellent. The young ladies working the counter were all polite and courteous. And the place was very clean(one of the young girls was sweeping up during a slow moment). The Bad: Got the Jersey Shore favorite. The bread had potential but it was a little too dry(maybe a little stale)? The bread to filling ratio was ridiculous. I took off one half of the bread and it was still too much bread compared to filling. The filling was tasty but looked like it belonged on a slider. A very small slider. My husband and I are in agreement — not bad but wouldn’t go out of our way to try it again. Too bad because I like to patronize places with great service!

I ate at Jersey Mike’s for the first time this afternoon for lunch. I had never previously been in a Jersey Mike’s before this experience. Initial impressions was that it was sort of a East Coast style deli, and I really enjoyed seeing the two fairly large TV’s for lunch-goers. Full counter where they slice the meat and cheese right in front of you, which is sadly a dying art in the sandwich world anymore. Plenty of options that looked tasty, and I ended up ordering the Famous Roast Beef and Provolone on their specialty bread, which I think was Rosemary and Asiago or something close to that. The roast beef was adequately rare which goes far with my standards, provolone was sliced thinly and also very fresh, and all the toppings were fine and the bread even pretty good with it. My main reason this gets a 3 star rating is the PRICE. I purchased the 7″ regular sub ONLY with a water and it still came to over $ 8.00 total, which I think is pretty steep after the hindsight of knowing this wasn’t the greatest roast beef sandwich I’ve ever had and is actually pretty ordinary to good. This place will never make it with several competitors such as Subways, Jimmy Johns, Firehouse Subs, Little King, Gandolfo’s, and even Jason’s Deli with prices that match or beat Jersey Mike’s.

We are sub snobs and I will always love the little king of long ago. I hate mayo But love the fresh meats and oily vinegar spice stuff. favorite joint these days

Your typical Jersey Mike’s. Good sandwich. Glad to find on my recent trip through Omaha.

I love Jersey Mike’s so I was so happy when they opened! They are pretty new so it’s not too busy and most tables are open for a place to sit. Then again I haven’t been during a lunch hour, so it could be totally packed. The staff here is super friendly and warm and the place is really clean. I have been to other Jersey Mike’s before and the cleanliness and décor is consistent throughout. I haven’t ventured out too much with the subs here. I always get the #7 which is turkey and provolone and mikes way minus the tomatoes! Not a tomato fan! I was sad to learn that they don’t have they avocado spread here which makes the sandwich so much more amazing! Needless to say I will be back but maybe bring my own avocado ;-)!

I was excited to try this place and I was initially going to get a cold sub. But then I saw that they had a chicken parm sandwich and I love those. So I ordered it to go. When I got home, it was still piping hot, which was good. But the chicken was these thin chicken tenders and the bread to meat ratio was really off. So much bread and very little chicken. Also the chicken texture was a bit tough. I didn’t finish it. The people seemed nice but it was a little pricey.

My God, I love this place. Stopped in to snag what is THEBEST Philly on the planet! The meat is top shelf(no fat or any of that other crap you get elsewhere). Fresh bread, onions, peppers, melted in cheese and the perfect amount of chipotle to give it a little kick. All hail the King of the cheese steak!
