Best BBQ I’ve had in Omaha for a long time!!! My husband compared it to Gates in Kansas City… Definitely must try them out. You won’t be disappointed!

I returned to try their Pulled Pork sandwich today and it was very good. Seasoned after the pork was on the sandwich, from a jar, couldn’t tell if it was original or not, but the price was right!

Were you wondering where the best BBQ in Omaha is? Well it’s situated at a nondescript smoker parked in the back of the parking lot of Canfield’s Sporting Goods on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The BBQ is all smoked fresh right there, and it certainly tastes like it. While you wait for your food, you can visit with the owner who is bursting with personality — if you ask him what is good, he will tell you everything is(and he is right!). On a previous visit my husband and I tried the pulled pork sandwich and the ribs and both were great. On this visit, the pulled pork was sold out when we stopped by at 4:30 pm on Saturday, but we were assured we would not be disappointed by the brisket sandwich, so we ordered one of those along with a half slab of ribs. The brisket, which is served on a ciabatta bun, is tender and full of flavor with just the right amount of BBQ sauce(much like the pulled pork was). The ribs are huge, meaty, and fall off the bone. They are topped with the same amazing BBQ sauce and are full of flavor. The weekend you are in the area, stop by and try some of this incredible BBQ(the owner assured us he will be there throughout the winter — probably in a food truck). You won’t be disappointed!
