There has been a noticeable change here. I have now been back a couple times and enjoyed my visits. The food menu is shorter and much better. The fried mushrooms are fabulous and a must have. Large juicy button caps with a thick light breading and parmesan that are my favorite fried mushrooms anywhere. Service is very helpful and friendly lately. I have liked sitting at the bar and also enjoying the sun out on the patio. The Philly is great. Large Ribeye cuts with some flavorful cheese. One of the best Philly’s I have had in Omaha. The Shrimp Taco’s are also A+ The red slaw and boom boom sauce are really good, Wish the shrimp were grilled or sauteed instead of fried.

Excellent service, excellent food! This was my first time trying out this little pub in Midtown Crossing and I must say, I am pleased! The server, Marcus was beyond the best and the food is some of the best in the town. I will definitely be back!

With so many sports bars in town, Saints was lower on my list due to poor reviews and glancing at their menu(which I thought was just meh). I ended up coming here for the first time to watch NCAA tournament games with some friends, and had a really great time! I gave them three stars bc of the food, although the ambiance, service and venue itself was great. We ordered nachos and pretzels with cheese. Both I would rank as OK. Acceptable bar food, but not something I would crave to make a special trip to eat. Since I am not a huge sports fan in general, a sports bar or bar needs to have great food or drinks or ambience in order to draw me in. Saints is pretty much your average bar set in a hip midtown crossing atmosphere. If it were located elsewhere, It probably would not do as well. I would like to note that we had exceptional service from Marcus. He checked on us constantly, and even brought me some free birthday drinks from the bar. He really made my experience a positive one, so thank you Marcus! If I were to come back, it would be to support him, not the food, drinks, or sports. Overall, I am sure I’ll be back sometime with friends, but it’s probably not somewhere I would choose to go on a regular basis.

So far so good! BEST Long Island’s I’ve EVER had! Hoping the food is just as good… which it is! I would recommend Saints to anyone! Great, friendly service too. We will definitely come back to Saints next time we are in Omaha. McKenzie was our server and she was Awesome!

I decided to try a few places in Midtown Crossing. I walked in to Saints and realized it was just a cheaply built sports bar with lots of TVs. If you are going for beer and to watch a game then it’s probably your place. I was going for lunch. It wasn’t very busy at all on a nice sunny afternoon. I ordered a bottled Summit IPA; btw there was only one local beer on draft. I ordered the Juicy Lucy burger with waffle fries. I will start with the terrible fries that had no flavor at all; except for the old grease taste. The burger also had no flavor at all like the meat had never been seasoned. It was supposed to be stuffed with cheese and mayo. I could tell the mayo was there but never got a hint of cheese taste.

Great new menu with a whole bunch of craft cocktails. Great neighborhood sports bar. All UFC fights are free as well, never a bad thing!

Server was very nice, website didn’t reflect the actual happy hour on wings. Changed the UFC fights to some random basketball game that had 2 minutes left… Ridiculous. Not very good appetizers.

The only reason I am giving a 4 star and not a 2 is because of the bartender/server named Cory. We came in to watch a football game not one of the servers came over to us for over half and hour and when she did we already got our drinks from the bar and never seen her again until she was getting off of work, hours later. We got our drinks from the bar and later when I talked to Cory and told him we hadn’t seen any servers he took care of our table the rest of the night. He did an absolutely fantastic job. The bar was full of people and he still made sure we were taken care of. Need more people like Cory in the service industry.

I’ve been frequenting Saints a lot lately(I live about 100 feet away) and have had nothing but a positive experience — great food, great drink specials, friendly staff and a GREAT location. There seems to be a pretty large crowd for sporting events, which can slow down the service, but honestly — they’re busy! If customers are expecting your food to come out within 5 minutes after being ordered on an extremely busy day in a very busy part of town, then they’ve clearly never worked in the restaurant business before. As long as the staff stays consistent, they will continue to do really well! I definitely recommend Saints to anyone! They have a great selection of drinks and a large, tasty selection of bar food, all being very moderately priced. Oh, and the patio is fantastic!!!

After recommending Saints at Midtown Crossing to friends as a place to meet for dinner, we were underwhelmed with the cleanliness of the restaurant, our server’s level of energy and the food. Considering the restaurant was only about a quarter filled, tables hadn’t been cleared and the outside patio was in disarray. Our server had to be reminded to bring silverware and app plates to our table more than once. While our dinners were nothing I would suggest to anyone else, the final straw was when my husband was in the restroom and one of the kitchen staff left the restroom without washing his hands. Will we be back? No.

The décor was nicer than most sports bars which I enjoyed. All of the tvs could be a bit overwhelming for someone who may just want to see a particular game. I enjoyed it as I could watch other games while the Broncos game was on a commercial break. I sat at the bar & was immediately asked for my drink order which was nice. I ordered the Pepper Jack Bites first. Really liked the bit of kick from the cheese in combination with the chipotle ranch. It was a nice size to share with my friend who was along for the ride. I noticed that the smaller bites seemed to be just breading, as if the cheese sort of melted since it wasn’t the same consistency as mozzarella. But the larger bites as they cooled a bit were more like traditional mozz bites. These bites also get snaps for the breading not being too thick. I also got an order of the Saints Loaded Fries choosing the chicken option. My only real complaint with these were the actual fries. I wish they had some sort of spicy seasoning on them. Most of the flavor came from the toppings and queso. My friend said he really enjoyed the queso while I was expecting it to be a bit spicier. Again it was the perfect size to share with someone and the chicken was good, not dry at all. Also reheated well the next day.

I thought the service was pretty crappy. Food was pretty terrible also. We were never asked how we wanted the burgers cooked. They came extremely well done which was awful. We both got a burger that had a chipotle sauce on it. Well it was supposed to have a sauce on it. There was barely any sauce at all. Took forever for the server to check back so we could ask for a side of sauce. Her response was«actually there’s plenty on there. If we put more on it the burger would be overflowing with sauce.» Then she just stood there and glared at us awkwardly. So… Can we get some sauce anyways??? I get its a bar, but she also kept calling the guy I was with«baby» the whole time. We were easy going, polite, etc. and for some reason were treated really crappy by the server. The food was so bad I wouldn’t try it a second time.

Went here a year or two ago, waited an hour for ice-cold food that tasted terrible. The beer cheese soup had gone bad and I’m not even sure how that happens, especially at a place where it’s clear that nothing is made from scratch. Our server even did the thing where they keep their face pointed away from our table at all times while we’re trying to get their attention. Just to find out where our food was we had to go talk to the bartender/manager. We were one of two tables ordering food, the rest were just drinking. They were the smart ones. After our 2-hour ordeal our meal was comped and we received a BOGO for ‘next time’, as though it were a possibility. Judging by the fact that the managers are still apologizing all over Unilocal says to me that things haven’t improved. Wondering how they’re still open, frankly.

Don’t ever go here hungry or thirsty. I’m not sure if there just aren’t enough people working, but the service is horrible. I’ve been here about five times and 4⁄5 have been crap service.

OK, so, let’s be honest– fine dining it’s not. It’s a sports bar, and a pretty decent one at that. Their menu is a bit large, just stick to the typical bar food, it’s great. Irish nachos, wings, chicken fingers, etc. Also, their patio tends to be less crowded than others during events in Turner Park.

Overall an ok place to stop in. We have had a couple work gatherings here this year as it is close to the office. Basically somewhere close so we can leave work early, order drinks and appetizers during happy hour and blow off some steam. I don’t have anything negative to say, but then again there isn’t anything super exciting either. One plus is the outdoor seating during the warmer months. This was enjoyable my first time here as the patio is a good size and overlooks the green space in midtown. The interior is modern and large with quite a few TV’s. Our waitress was friendly and kept up with our drink orders for a party of eight. They have a decent selection of beer, and I started off with a few Arrogant Bastards, so that was a plus. The cocktails others in the party had were good as well. We ordered a variety of appetizers, and I would rate them as decent, typical bar food. Overall both experiences I have had here were good, and the place is nice, there just isn’t that ‘thing’ that makes one get excited about a place.

Forgettable. Have been there twice now, and won’t likely go back for anything other than a drink on the patio. Service was okay both times, but the food is just bland and what I call«a waste of calories». On a previous visit I ordered their soup of the day. Cream of Mushroom. The soup itself tasted bland… pasty, and had literally 2 very small pieces of mushroom in it. Can’t remember what else I had that time… which says a lot. This more recent visit we ordered the boneless wings and the homemade queso dip. The wings were okay; however the queso was nothing more than an off yellow tasteless paste. We even tried to add some hot sauce to it for flavor. Ick. No hint of a cheese taste here. We let the waitress know how bad it was and as she dug into the sauce with a knife she agreed it looked bad and said«Normally it’s homemade queso!» Hmmm. Not sure what it was, but no offer to remove anything from our bill. There are several TV’s there, so it would be a good place to watch a game; however I’d suggest eating somewhere else first.

The manager would not turn on the audio for a Thursday night NFL game between the Raiders and Chiefs… Bar full of Chiefs fans… Iggy Azalea playing loudly in the background… I asked the manager if this was a sports bar, he confirmed it was. When I asked why there was no audio for any of the games and only music playing, he informed me that he would not put audio on for the second half of a game… So, not only does their food suck badly(which you can see from other reviews) they don’t even appeal to the sports crowd! If I wanted to listen to music, I would have gone to a non«sports bar». The manager was a bit of a prick, trying to prove a point… Really just lost out on Thursday night business. Dj’s Dugout is where it’s at! It’s a bit further drive, but totally worth it!

My husband and I have been known to frequent Saints 1 – 2 times a week some weeks. The nightly specials are great and the appetizers and drinks are always good. We love to sit out on the patio and look out at Midtown Crossing and Turner Park. It is always fun to stop by on a night that something is going on in the park. If you go you MUST try to Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls as an appetizer. They are amazing! I need to learn how to make them at home. We love the wings and everything else that Saints has to offer. It is also nice to know that they have a free shuttle that will pick you up and drop you off in a 5 mile vicinity. We haven’t taken it yet but it is great to know that it is an option. The service is always great and consistent. We have never had to wait very long to be asked if we needed a refill or anything else. The big screen TVs are great to watch the game. They are always willing to change the channel if they aren’t showing the game that you want to watch. Overall, we definitely recommend giving Saints a try!

Great set-up with multiple screens from multiple angles. That is about all that can said positively about this place. Food is mediocre at best. I don’t hold that against them. It’s bar food — I don’t expect a 5 star level meal. The food is exactly what you expect. The service is absolutely atrocious! And I have been back a couple of times just to give the benefit of the doubt — everyone is allowed a bad day. But when there is a pattern of horrible service, I’ll call a spade a spade. During my most recent(and last) outing, I entered the bar. No one greeted me. So after a few minutes I just sat down at a table. After another 5 minutes, a perky enough server took my drink order and did deliver it quickly. And then that was the last time I saw her for 20 minutes. Some may question why I waited so long. I come from a family with professional chefs — I know how restaurants works — I know how to run the«house.» This«house» is clearly in disarray and I found it comical to keep track of how much time passed until someone asked for my food order. I could see my server at the other end of the bar, flirting it up with some college blokes, fully entranced by them rather than her job. No other server stopped to see if I needed anything either. I finally reached the limit of my patience, and got the attention of another server. I told him what I wanted, and miraculously my original server appeared within 2 minutes to confirm my order. And then she was gone, right back to flirting with some different blokes. I guess she was working on upping her tips — it’s a good thing too because she didn’t get one from me — and that’s a shame because I tip well(more than 30% automatically — remember, I know the industry).
