We went in here in anticipation of Blazing Pianos returning to Omaha. We were super excited about this. 1) Reservations. I have never had a place say you can make reservations, but you have to pay for the covers up front before the show. 2) EVERYSINGLETABLEWASRESERVED. They even took seating from the bar to make reservations. This is crazy. It should be said that every table will be reserved, we arrived early to get a table, and sat at the bar. The bar is not even close to having interaction with the stage. 3) We ordered food around 7:30PM, before it got busy. 1 order of Nachos. 8:30 rolls around, and we still do not have our food. We let them know, and they are like oh yes, we’ll get it out! We are still waiting. And sitting at the bar, we had difficulty getting drinks from the girl bartender. Not only were we waiting for our food, but we weren’t even getting drink service really. Now it is about 9:50, and we decide we are going to head out as we are hungry, and not getting service. Then the guy brings out the nachos, and we decide we do not want them. as we are leaving. He did offer us drinks/shots to make up for it, but we refused as we were leaving. 4) 2 of our friends ordered food an hour after we did, about 8:30. They saw their food sitting for about 20 minutes, no one was even looking at it or trying to pick it up and take it out. and then the food was taken away. After they confirmed that was their food, they offered to make more for them, but we were leaving by that time.(so about an hour later) 5) The female bartender acted very stressed out due to the shear magnitude of people in the bar. She acted annoyed when our friends ordered food, and clearly they didn’t handle the food situation well. There was a guy that did try to make up for it, but of course we are leaving and you can’t. So we paid a cover for nothing. I am a piano bar regular, and I have never walked out early on a night with Piano bar. We usually close down the bar. This was the worst experience. It seemed like the biggest thing is that they were understaffed. But it went a little beyond that. I’d prefer not to ever go back.

I am not a fan of this bar. I end up at Shamrock’s a few times a year for local bands & rarely am I excited about the«venue.» It’s definitely not a super friendly bar. Everyone is there with someone & rarely are people looking to mingle. The lighting for shows is seizure-inducing non-stop colored strobe lights. The sound is good only if the bands know what they’re doing(light/sound guy is kind of a joke). The bar service is generally pretty good, but more than once I’ve been charged different prices for the same drink in the same night or I’ve ordered one thing(Boulevard) & ended up with another(Budweiser). I’ll end up back at this bar in the future undoubtedly(& unfortunately), but I have nothing good to say about it.

Nice dive bar, and the bouncer was gracious enough to waive the cover charge when we told him we were not staying for the music. The sound check was painful enough! Drinks were as usual — good variety of beer on draft.

The bartender is also the cook. Hat’s off to Chris for a great burger. Seasoned well with a lot of pepper, which I’m a fan of. The atmosphere is friendly so don’t be intimidated by the dive bar feel.

Staff wasn’t super nice. The music is too loud to enjoy.

Very friendly and accommodating bartender on Thursday nights. Good place to watch a football game if you’d rather listen to music in the background instead of the announcer chatter. Burger and fries were surprisingly good. Not fancy, not pretentious, A few interesting beers on tap in addition to the typical light American fare. Have not seen a band there but apparently they are a frequent late-night feature.

Definitely a blue collar dive bar. They have local bands pretty regularly. The prices are about average, and the bathrooms are not nice at all, but they’re clean.
