This little place has been around for decades. They serve two meats. Pork and chicken. They only take cash. They run out of meats as the day goes on. That tells me this place is doing it right. So come on down and don’t hassle it. Bring a 20 and an appetite.
I had the long end pork ribs with hot BBQ sauce meal. The ribs were perfect… firm but tender. Light to medium smoke. And the sauce was crazy… like candy. It had cinnamon or allspice or clove… hell… maybe all three. It was spicy and slightly sweet on the front with a little heat afterward.
The sides are not the show here. It’s the meat. And it is goooooood!

Landed in Omaha airport, was hungry for some good grub and this place hit the mark. It’s only a 3 – 4 minute drive from the airport, easy drive and quick service. I had the chicken, cooked to perfection, you could taste the smoked flavor throughout the chicken! Side was baked beans, it was okay, not great or unique.

While Visiting Omaha Nebraska I wanted to visit some historical sites and eat some good BBQ. So For the eating side of this journey I was recommended to Skeets by some of The Locals. Well little did I know i was about to kill 2 Birds with one Stone… The Ribs were Choice cut very tender and juicy, The sauce was like nothing i ever tasted (i had The hot) I was told by the owner on Site that the sauce was made from scratch, and that this establishment has been here in this same Location for 61 years. and I can see why «NOW THATS HISTORICAL» in My Book. i give this place a well deserved 5 star rating

Skeets knows meats. Hearty portions of ribs, brisket, chicken, dipped in delicious sauces, and piled high alongside your favorites like beans, cole slaw, and corn bread. While not near my home, every now and then I get a hankering for some Kansas City style BBQ, and in my opinion this hits closest to the mark. Service is counter style and is very quick.
Skeets really has no dining room, so plan to get your food on the go. Grab some napkins & wet wipes and find a nice picnic table in a park to devour your portion of heaven.
