Not a bad hotel at all. Room was drafty but overall a good stay! Breakfast changes each day and was one of the better hotel eats I’ve had. Recommend it for sure!

Great location, great room, but for all that is great and holy in this world, please update the computer in your lobby! It took over 20 minutes to print something that should have taken 2 minutes top. The computer is from 2002, and there’s no reason for that.

This is a great place to stay in Omaha. There’s free breakfast and dinner buffets and all the rooms I’ve stayed in have little kitchens and full sized refrigerators. Make a snack and drink run to the Target next door and you’re set!
The staff here is very friendly, energetic and competent. It’s always a pleasure going through here because of them.
There’s on site laundry. I pack a couple of those dry laundry pods in a ziplock baggy in case I need to run a load while I’m on the road.

Overall not a bad place. Stayed here almost a week for Spring Break. Staff is great. Breakfast is better than most hotel breakfasts.
Room is really nice. Though there were a few little issues with the room. The front door had a gap that let cold air in. Might have just been our room the deadbolt also does not work. I also feel bad for anyone who stayed in the unit below us. Whenever my kids would walk around it sounded like a freight train full of circus animals crashing into a building full of dishes (well maybe not that bad). You can hear everything outside the room pretty good. Luckily it was not noisy when we were sleeping.
Great experience staying here. We would definitely stay here again. Go Marriott!

If headed to Omaha for work or business, there is no other place I would stay. Full, modern kitchen (full-​sized fridge/​stove/​oven/​micro/​dishwasher), fireplace, very clean, updated everything.
Throw on top of that a warm buffet breakfast, friendly staff, well maintained grounds, and easy access to grocery stores, office/​printing supplies, nice restaurants, etc. and it’s a slam-​dunk!

COMMENTS
It’s probably a very common floor plan, because this matched exactly with the San Ramon, CA Residence Inn, from the carpet to the upholstery!
It’s a Queen Studio, so you get a full kitchen with fridge/​freezer, dishwasher, stove, etc. There’s a small breakfast table too. It’s not the biggest Residence Inn suite I’ve had, but you could probably comfortably fit 4 people here. The other thing that’s nice is that, unlike most hotels where the Internet becomes dialup slow in the evening when everyone is returning from work, the Internet is actually pretty steady throughout the evening and night.
So, the doors go straight to the outside, there’s no hallway or anything like that. Because of that, there isn’t an elevator or anything. If you have a 2^nd floor room, sucks for you! If you have to carry a bunch of stuff, sucks for you!
I came here on Sunday night, so I watched Monday Night Football in my room, and it was annoying that I was watching it on an LCD TV, yet in standard definition. I honestly can’t believe this is how we used to watch football! I couldn’t even make out the numbers on the jerseys! That was a bit annoying. The other thing is that the couch is like directly in front of the TV, yet you still have to aim the remote at weird angles to get the TV to respond. I suppose it could be a bettery. It sucked that I turned the TV so I could watch it from the bed, and when I got sleepy, I tried to turn it off, and couldn’t. So I walked to the TV, turned it off, went back to bed, and I wasn’t sleepy anymore. AAARGH!
Now, the AC/​Heating works quickly and well, but if it weren’t for that, this place could potentially be unbearable! The insulation is horrible. When I walked in, the heater was at 75 (hot!). I changed it to AC at 70 degrees. In the morning when I woke up, it was 65! Plus, there was a smoker next door, and he’d walk outside on the deck and smoke occasionally, and it was as if he was smoking inside the room. Ick. But like I said, because of the nice AC/​Heater, as long as you adjust the temp by the time of day, you’ll live.
OK…the WORST THING ever! I tell you now, but it’s only going to suck for the next month or so. They’re building some building across the street. I don’t know who’s stupid ass idea this is, but at 2:00am every day they start turning on all the heavy machinery, hauling rocks, breaking and jackhammering cement, W T F!!! Then, it stops around 3:45am. Suddenly it picks up again at 5:45am and continues on until I left for the day around 7:30a. WHY THE HELL would you start doing loud ass construction at freaking 2 in front of a hotel!!!
So, hold off your reservations, if you can, for another month, or find a hotel at least 2 blocks away until November, 2012 or so.

On most aspects, a very nice place. Modern, large, clean suite. Reasonable price. Helpful and friendly staff. One of the best free breakfast buffets I’ve seen. Located right by UNO. Easy to get to.
The main drawback is the noise. There must not be any insulation in the place — I could hear my upstairs neighbor talking and walking around on my ceiling. People walking by on the sidewalk sounded like they were in bed with me. Water running in any adjacent unit sounds like a flood. The ventilation system roars like a dragon. I was woken up about 20 times a night, each night I was there, even after I turned off the ventilation. I’m a light sleeper, but even my companion who sleeps like the dead was woken up several times.
Avoid it.

Room was very clean, all appliances and fixtures were new.
Breakfast buffet was good, something for everyone in the family.
We found that travel to and from downtown was very fast on Dodge Street due to well timed lights and even a reversible lane.
The staff was very friendly and competent. The Penthouse Room allowed the grand kids to have their own bedroom and bathroom.

It looks shabby from the outside, but the inside is shockingly nice, clean, and new — it must have been recently refurbished because nothing is shabby or dirty, and even the grout in the bathroom tile looks clean.
The kitchen is nearly as large as the one I have at home (though — my home is an apartment), the sitting room was well-​apportioned and well-​designed, the bathroom was large, everything was clean and beautiful, service was great, and the price a great deal at somewhere between $ 100 and $ 150 for a single night (with discounts for staying more nights).
As a single female, I was a bit weirded out by the fact that all the doors exit onto the street/​parking lot and/​or an outdoors staircase, but there are deadbolts and locks as usual, and I just told myself that I was staying in a home rather than in a hotel (and sucked it up, and was fine).
The room smelled too much like air freshener (it was like breathing perfume overnight, and I didn’t feel the best on waking). Every time I think about it, the effect is worse — and it loses a star just for that. Perhaps the other rooms are different? I really want to absolutely love this hotel.
Beyond the hotel’s insides, the location only blocks from the University of Nebraska is a plus too.
