While I understand that what you see is what you get because they have no backup storage to replace the exact pair that you picked out from the shelf, it’s worth saving that much mony because everyone here has always been kind, sincere, considerate & given an honest opinion — even going out of their way to make sure I’m having a good day, had plenty of time to browse & actually sat down and helped me compare price of self pay vs insurance reimbursement. I can easily afford several pairs every couple of years so switch up to match my mood & outfit. Quality service, quality customer service & quality products! You can get anything you’d get elsewhere — glare prevention, scratch resistance, tried & bi– focals, etc.

I would recommend staying away from this place! I saw commercials of great deals but came in, and it was a totally different story. I felt like I wasted the trip and my time. A optometrist came out, and had a dirty lab coat. Makes you wonder where they get these people. It was just so unprofessional!

I recently had an eye exam, purchases two pairs of glasses, and a 6 mo supply of contacts from Stanton Optical. I was in an out quickly. Thanks to Dave Dockery, I purchased glasses that fit my face. He was great at suggesting glasses and giving me an honest opinion on my appearance in them. Also, his patience with my indecisive nature helped me not make a rushed decision. I am so happy with my purchase and the customer service was amazing. Thanks Dave and the rest of the Stanton Optical family.

Awful place. Bait and switch, and customer service never followed up on complaints about deceptive pricing. Once the sale was made at $ 250 instead of the advertised $ 69, no one cared, no one even bothered to say thank you when I picked up my glasses. Very disappointed. Only recommendation is that people run, run away from Stanton Optical.

I purchased a Groupon & got an eye appointment and a pair of rx sunglasses. The dr was professional and competent. However, I was extremely disappointed in the selection of frames at the store(Omaha, NE). I spoke to a lady on the floor who did not seem caring or empathetic that I could not find a pair of glasses. Online, many designer names are presented and in the store only a handful of designer frames were available. Many of the frames were of poor quality and as someone who has a very strong prescription and tries to be stylish, I really struggled to find frames. I had wanted to buy regular glasses, not sunglasses but the selection was too limited. Finally, I found some Diane Von Furstenberg sunglasses and decided to use my credit to get a pair of sunglasses. When I purchased the glasses, I still had to pay money out of pocket, but I felt that this was a justified purchase for quality, designer frames and a new prescription. When I went to pick up the new glasses, they did not come in the manufacturer case and while that may not seem like a big deal, I feel cheated. When you purchase a designer bag, it comes in a dust bag, when you buy designer glasses they should come with the manufacturer case. I did not feel 100% comfortable with the initial purchase and now, quite frankly, I feel ripped off. This feels like a bait & switch. I called the store and spoke to Dave(4÷22÷15 @3:30pm) who did spend the time to speak with me and was apologetic but I still feel extremely dissatisfied with the experience. Yes, I had a groupon and therefore paid significant less than had I not had a groupon. However, I still paid over 100 $ out of my own pocket to feel mislead. I am student and 100 $ is a significant amount of money. I really don’t know what would make me feel better in this situation, but I sincerely hope it does not happen again to anyone else. If you are looking for an eye exam & some basic glasses on a budget, this might be an option for you. However, if you have a very strong prescription and any inclination to wear stylish frames, steer clear of this establishment.

Stanton Optical did step up and offered a free pair of glasses. I was happy to take them up on the offer. Kudos to Alexis the temp store manager and Stanton Optical’s customer service. Thank you. My free pair cost $ 112.00 but that’s because I wanted rimless glasses. So to wrap the initial process was horrible but after about a month they did offer some compensation for the hassle and an apology. Good enough.

Selection of good quality frames is almost nil. The ones that appear to be decent are $ 250 for just the frames. I purchased a set of glasses 2 years ago, with the transitions add-on, anti-scratch, the whole bit. It turns out that the frames were not anywhere near as durable as the salesman told me, and I had to have those replaced twice. The lenses became scratched in no time, and the transition coating wore off in 6 months. I went back and was told«sorry, nothing we can do about that. It’s not covered» even though I bought their warranty. I woujld not recommend you go there unless you FULLY understand that you do «get what you pay for». Even their $ 250.00 glasses are not worth it. Go anywhere else, if you can, you’ll likely get better quality than you will at this place.

Had a Groupon for this place and since I was out of contacts and needed new glasses, I decided to give this a try. They were friendly and helped me with everything that I needed. Great go to place for quick easy service.

Purchased the groupon and called specifically asking if contact lens fittings were included and if there are glasses available in the store for under $ 200 including lenses. Both questions were responded to with absolutely. Go into the store and am attempted to be charged $ 55 for my contact lens fitting and told that there is no way to order glasses without paying additional charge out of pocket. Call customer service line complaining only to be told that I was unknowingly charged an additional $ 15 for scratch guard on my glasses that I wasn’t offered or wanted. Throughout this whole process the manager was completely rude and treated me as if I was ignorant of how groupon and my own insurance policy works. Will never be going back here again. DONOTRECOMMEND

!!WARNINGSTANTONOPTICALISCURRENTLYUNDERLITIGATION!!! Terrible experience with a company that is currently Under Litigation. Terrible service, depressed staff. Bait and switch marketing. They lost my glasses, nearly ruined my vacation(Lenscrafters saved the day). It’s been over a month and still have not received my glasses. Rude customer service. Any Good reviews you read are likely written by staff. !!AVOIDAVOIDAVOID!

We just popped in to see what the frame selection was like, and ended up getting two complete sets of glasses because we really enjoyed our experience here. Excellent customer service — Shane gave us his honest opinion on what would be best for my husband and didn’t try to sell us a bunch of special features that he didn’t need. He took the time to explain the benefits and drawbacks of certain add-ons so we could make an informed decision. We were very happy with the result and the extremely reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Excellent customer service. As a new bifocal wearer, I was unaware of the different types and what to expect with each and how to «train» the eyes. Shane was very knowledgable and explained in detail.
