Nephew night out. He loved it. Cool aunt wins! Would suggest keep toppings warmed. Flavorful frozen yogurt. Would suggest heath bar for topping. Fast and friendly. Couches to eat on are worn out and stiff.

Stopped in to try YoZone with my son. His eyes are always bigger than his stomach so I was happy to see some smaller sized cups. We grabbed a cup of cotton candy flavored yogurt for him and I got birthday cake. The flavors were par for the course; the birthday cake could easily be mistaken for plain ol’ vanilla underneath all those toppings but it had a great froyo consistency. It wasn’t icy or watery at all. There was also a great selection of toppings and the fresh fruit was actually fresh. The gal working was polite and courteous. The only thing that I noticed that detracts from a more favorable review was that the sole trash can was overflowing and definitely should have been changed 20 customers ago.

Weird tasting flavors. Good toppings. Friendly people. Gotta work on the flavor of the froyo though. Hm

Seriously the best priced frozen yogurt in town. This is the more ice cream tasting version. not the tangy RED Mango type… but great location. Good service. Nice selection. Good choice of toppings. Nice atmosphere. Craving some frozen goodies? Then this is a great place to come into.

The best thing about YoZone is the variety of flavors and toppings. The flavors included Chocolate Chill, Strawberry Supreme, Cake Batter, Cotton Candy, and a few others. The toppings included the standard fruit(cordial cherries, strawberries, kiwi, etc), cereal, and candy. I was surprised to see that they had Boston Baked Beans as a topping. Now that’s impressive! The taste of the yogurt didn’t stand out among the other places in town. For me personally, I prefer the tartness of Red Mango. YoZone, on the other hand, tasted a lot like Yoji. The worst part of the visit was the how quickly the froyo comes out of the machine. The server didn’t offer any warnings or sympathy when my wife’s hand was covered in a cone of peach froyo. On variety, I give YoZone a «4» but on taste and service, I give it a «3». Add a «2» for the faulty spout and you get a solid«3». While there are better places in town, YoZone ain’t bad. Just have quick reflexes or be ready to wash your hand.

Very nice place with a great atmosphere. The owner was there that day and she was so nice! Held a good conversation with us too. I always look for a place that has red velvet cake and this place did! However I feel like its better at other places. But the yellow cake batter was sooooo delicious! And the fruit was extremely fresh! Very happy customer! :)

OMFG… There are now two froyo companies in Omaha!!! I was happy when Red Mango came to the big O, but now there is even reason to shout out I LOVEFROYOMAHAAAAAAAAAAAA! Ok… I have calmed down and can finish the rest of my review. Just as a quick terminology reminder: Froyo = self– serve frozen yogurt Frozen Yorgurt = places like TCBY and Pink Berry that are 500 years behind… Anyway, I of COURSE gave Red Mango five stars for not only being the first froyo in Omaha, but having three nice and clean establishments, lots of flavors, a decent amount of toppings and of course the 24⁄7 satan-red quasi xmas tree in front of each location. Now let’s talk about Yozone. Unfortunately, it’s way the F out in SW Omaha so if you live around 180th and Q, consider yourself lucky. The place is tucked away next to the Hy-Vee and while there is no Unilocal-red tree, there is a nice outdoor patio so you can enjoy your froyo as you hear passing kids whining to their spineless parents demanding froyo before they throw a tantrum. I’m not to fond with kids, but I can total understand and would probably do the same thing in their little immature shoes. Now that Yozone is the new kid at school, I’m going to have to compare it with Red Mango: In the first corner we have Yozone: 1. AWESOME flavors! I had a mixture of peanut butter(the love of my life) and english toffee which was a tough tossup against blue cotton candy and bubble gum. 12 flavors in total and you can always check their websites to see what’s currently available 2. Self-serve smoothie?! Yeah you heard me! In addition to froyo, you get froSMO(I might have made that up). They have frosmo plastic cups and you can mix and match between two flavors and put whatever toppings in your frosmo! GREATIDEA! 3. Comparable selection of toppings(cereal, cookie dough, candy, nuts, candy bars, gummy bears, fruit, unicorn tears, you know…) In the second corner we have R-Mango: 1. R-Mango definitely wins for looks. The inside is tee hee hee(peace sign) cute and can only be complimented with japanese symbols and hello kitty décor. Yozone kind of looked like an ozone layer. Not sure what that means, but it’s a very VERY neutral place which might help calm your kids the F down from their froyo demanding tantrum 2. I’ve only been to Yozone once, but the only girl working there was… well not really there! I felt as if I somehow ruined her perfect teenage existence with my presence. As soon as I paid and stopped bothering her, I’m sure I became a post on her FB wall about how I ruined her day FML. 3. The spouts for Yozone shoot at you like a Romulan ship discovering a decloaked Klingon ship in their territory. Just sampling the flavors, I got froyo on my hand three times! PLEASEBECAREFUL as I’m sure the staff won’t care. 4. R-mango has three locations and one downtown near where I live LET’S GETREADYTORUMMMMMMMBBBBBBBBLLLLLLLLLLE! Both places for sure get five stars, but the winner to me is Yozone. If you don’t like crappy service and you need to try each of the flavors, this might not be the place for you. But I’ve been to a bazilliongazillion froyo places and the MAIN factor for me personally is selection of flavors and toppings. Yozone definitely has interesting flavors without the weird tart flavor that every flavor at R-mango has. But if you go here, trust me when I say the spouts shoot out really fast so proceed with caution. So there you have it folks!!! If you are way the F out west and you are needing a cool treat for your hot smelly feet — check out Yozone!
