Hot Dog On a Stick

Hotdog on a Stick is just fun. From the «corny» uniforms to the corn dogs you are in for a treat. This venue is located in the food court at the Ontario Mills Mall. They have thirst quenching lemonades, cheese sticks, and hotdogs. Meals on a stick for all ages. The stick feature takes eating on the go to the next step. This spot currently has an A grade and the staff were super cheery. Happy shopping.

Menu has stayed relatively the same over the past 10+ years. Great lemonade and great corn dog bites. Something quick to hit the spot from a shopping break.

Normally LOVE hot dog on a stick. I’ve actually got at least 4 of those huge refill cups because we go there so often and my family loves their cheese on a stick. I went to this location around 11 when my daughter and I were shopping. I walked up and Selena looked at me and continued to finish what she was doing. No problem I wasn’t in a hurry. So she moves over to the cash register and gives me a look. OK so I guess that means she wants my order? She seemed awfully grouchy so I tried to be nicer to get a smile. I ordered a large lemonade and when I saw the new plastic cups with the penguins I asked if I could switch since it was only a dollar more. She huffed and stared, then asked me «are you serious? «. Hmm I think so. So she changes the cup and proceeds to give me a dollar plus change and I tell her that I owe her money and if it’s possible she gets more annoyed with me. I still an trying to be nice and tell her I don’t want her drawer to be short and figure out the difference between the two drinks but at this point my daughter had come over to witness the rudeness. I gave her the difference and probably should have called their company office. I’ve never had someone be so rude when all I wanted was to buy a drink. I’ll be walking on by this hdos next time, unless I’m still upset enough to get their #.

Really terrible today, not sure if they were using old food or what but it was so bad that the kids didn’t even want to finish their corn dogs which is a first. Not what you would expect when normally HDOAS is consistently decent regardless of where you eat it.

Love this place! The hot dog on a stick (a turkey dog) is really good, the batter is sooooooo good. The cheese on a stick is even better! And the cherry lemonade is a savior on a hot sunny day.
