Can’t complain. I got comp tickets when I donated blood the other week. The tickets were for the Mike Cano show. Mike was funny, and he brought up three special guests. My favorite guest was Thom Tran. He is very accomplished in Hollywood and served in our military. I laughed my ass off. I had a very nice evening. I showed up an hour before the show and got in line for a good seat(first come first serve seating). I got a good seat in the middle, but pretty much all the seats are good seats. I drank 2LA Waters(Malibu rum blue yummy drink) and had the yummy garlic mayonnaise French fries. Very good. The main dish I ordered was Parmesan chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, and veggies. It was ok, not great not bad, but I didn’t come here for the food I came her for the laughs and I was not disappointed. I wore a nice dress since the ticket said dress code strictly enforced. I don’t think it was enforced at all. It was disappointing to see people in sweats and flip flops. But that’s on them I guess. My date and I had a couple drinks, and a good amount of food and free tickets. We spent $ 80 plus tip. Not too bad for a fun night of laughs.

I have been here several times and love the service and comedian line up. I have seen Damon Wayans, Mike Epps, and will see Rod Man tonight. How can you be angry if your laughing? Right? Solid 4 stars. WRETROOUT

Five Star Entertainment for sure. Just saw Dana Carvey and he was extremely entertaining. The lower stars are for the seating. I have to say it was very uncomfortable, all I was doing was scooching around the WHOLE time trying to get comfortable to no avail. The cushions are worn out folks, it’s time to upgrade. Terrible is all I can say and I’ve been here plenty. Always enjoy the Entertainment But please make it to where I can sit without feeling like I’m sitting on a 2 by 4 !!! Hopefully upgrades will come soon.

Watched the family laughfest show and it was pleasantly fun and entertaining. Great for all ages. Remember it is a two item minimum. Thanks for a great show!

I came here again last saturday and I was sorely disappointed. Not with the talent but with the service. Victoria our server was borderline rude, inattentive and not once did she smile. Even when we said our pleases and thank yous, It was as if she was super annoyed. I even had to legit stop her, while she was walking away, for the older gentlemen and his wife that were sitting next to us. She completely ignored them a couple of times and they were so sweet. I was more mad for them than I was about how she was with service at our table. It made to watch the show a little difficult when we wanted to order. She even stated the words«water will take awhile because we need to get out the paid drinks first». Who says that? There was no need for it, and that was our first encounter with her, so you can imagine how the rest of the night went. It was just rude. I’m still giving this 3 though because it’s a great venue and they have great talent. But if I was just rating on experience this last time I’d give a 1. Not only was the service bad but the food was HORRIBLE. nachos? More like ‘chips with boiled, dry, unseasoned chicken, and a drizzle of nacho cheese, and let me toss a dollop of sour cream’. I literally had 2 chips and was so annoyed that my friend spent anything over FREE. Actually if they were free I’d still not eat them. DISGUSTING. The pasta my other friend ordered was decent, tasted like a microwaveable dish but a huge step up from the nachos(I’m settling here peeps) and her boyfriend barely touched his rib sliders so I’m assuming he didn’t like them either. This last experience definitely went from a 5 to a 1 but I’m gunna leave it at a 3 and hopefully next time they’ll change my mind again and I’ll bump it back up to a 5.

Terrible customer service. Been sitting here 30mins waiting for drinks while everyone around us gets theirs. The excuse from the waitress was that they lost our tickets and they’re(the kitchen) losing a lot of tickets tonight. Ummm… how is that my problem? I talked to someone in dress attire, who I assume was the boss and he said he would take care of it. Big shocker, he did not. Hire people who will 1, check on their tables and 2, don’t lose tickets.

Bought the Groupon to check out the show. The deal doesn’t work for special events so make sure you check the calendar to see if it’s marked in red so that you don’t plan for the wrong event. With the Groupon, you have to buy two item minimum once you are seated which includes food or drinks. The food and drinks are mostly $ 10 or more. FOOD quality is decent. It gets served super fast. Our food was served within 10 minutes. I got the BBQ burger and it was good and filling. It is served with a side of fries. I also had the watermelon margarita which was a favorite amongst the people at my table. SEATING was on a first come first serve basis. The host seats you from the front of the room by each row and works toward the back of the room. So I would recommend going early so you can enjoy your meal and get a good seat rather than coming at the scheduled show time. Comedian was great! We had a host, an opener, and a headliner do shows and they were hilarious!

Overall it was a great Date Night with the Wifey but I couldn’t understand the convenience charge on our tickets even tho we did a walk up. What’s that all about? It’s not like I was using TicketMaster or anything. Aside from that the entertainment was great, Bill Bellamy, the atmosphere was good and everyone had a great time. Food is whatever and beer is well, just that-beer. I’ll return but I still don’t understand a convenience charge on a walk up. Ontario Improv can you explain?

So: the best thing you could ever do is order their banana bites. They are absolutely the best thing about the place besides the comics. I do feel like many of the drinks and food are over priced– but hey you gotta make a living. Also the place is due for a huge upgrade and they aren’t as accommodating either. But it is what it is.

The Improv sells tickets on Goldstar all the time. Tickets that usually went for $ 20, we paid $ 9.75 ea(includes a Goldstar service fee). The best part for us was the line up. Our evening had the impressive veteran performer, Comedian John Heffron, winner of Last Comic Standing, Season 2, 2004 at the helm. And while I am usually an attention deficit Last Comic viewer, my son was quite familiar with him and got quite excited. His show was worth every penny, and I feel lucky to have been entertained by such a brilliant mind for so little $$. As far as the venue, you can expect to pay through the nose for typical subpar food, and there is a two item minimum(even though, looking around, it does not appear they enforce it). Entrees and appetizers range between $ 10 to $ 19. Drinks can also be that expensive, or even more, depending on if you choose alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks. In otherwords, even comp tickets on Goldstar do not make for a cheap date. But they sure help. Nice, open venue, decent seating that was first in line, first serve. I came early to pick up my tickets at the Will Call window. I was really not expecting much, since I got them so deeply discounted, but the place was small and intimate, no bad seats in the house. Maybe a bit snug, but once the lights darkened, we were on equal turf. We enjoyed our evening here. I would do it again, definitely.

Came tonite to watch the dirty show. It’s an awesome comedy show starring identical twin brothers from Fontana. Last time I saw the show I laughed so hard my cheeks hurt! Looking forward to another great show. :)

Went there last night and saw John Heffron. Had a blast. Everyone was laughing. We ordered the fries which tasted fresh. Everyone’s food around us also looked really good and prepared there. It service was perfect. She kept our cups full the whole time. Overall the place is very clean and comfortable. Will he going back again soon and recommend it.

Always reasonably priced for some great comedians. Drinks are a bit unreasonable, and the waiters are typically overwhelmed but overall do their best. Always a winner for a night out or special occassion.

Parking is terrible of course because of the location. The wait in line can be pretty lengthy as well. I like this location because unlike other comedy theaters they do not pack you in like sardines. I was actually surprised how spacious the seating was for this type of venue. Seems like seating anywhere in here is still a good view of the stage. Drinks were descent and the service wasn’t bad.

This was a late Father’s Day gift for my husband. Went at the end of July to see Arsenio Hall and he was amazing! I was very happy that the 2 item minimum meant anything on the menu because we don’t drink. The non-alcoholic drinks are very tasty. We made reservations for dinner so we could eat, relax and get an amazing seat and we did. The food came out fast and it was good, hot and very filling. Our waitress was great as well. The only thing I didn’t like, but I understand it, was that if you come in with 2 people and sit in the front facing booth seats, or any table with extra seats, they sit strangers in front of you. It obstructs the view but can also be a little dicey depending on who you get. It worked out and a good time was had by all. I was so happy I made the dinner reservations. It started at 6:30 p.m. and when we got there were about 10 people already in line. Eating dinner there insured our up front seat without having to spend $ 100 for bottle service for a good seat. We are going to include the Improv in our date night repertoire. I laughed until I couldn’t breathe! Mission accomplished, hubby was more than pleased.

Loni Love show was great! She’s hilarious! Her opening act Dsean Ross was even funnier though! We laughed so hard we were crying! I wasn’t drinking and I ordered a non-alcoholic beverage that’s was very tasty! We will definitely come back to the Improve again!

My friends wanted to come see Steve Byrne and said they seen tickets for about $ 8 bucks online so decided to come. Show started at 9:30pm and they suggested to line up at 9pm, by that time the line was backed up pretty far near the parking lot. Security did a great job at checking ids, tickets and getting everyone in very quickly. Once inside I didn’t know how large it was compared to the other Inprovs that was really impressive. The waitress was very nice and wasnt rude about a few people in our party not drinking with the suggested 2 drink min they claim. The show was great and can’t say anything wrong about it, as well for service and venue.

My friend Chris decided that he wanted to celebrate his birthday here and all 11 of us decided to tag along. His lady love Bella got us a VIP package for the Felipe Esparza show and was assisted throughout the entire process by Michael Universal. Yes, he is a super hero. The awesome package included reserved seating, a $ 25 credit for food or drinks, and the tickets. Michael was even able to add two more people to our reservation. The majority of the group checked in together and Michael even came out to greet us before we were taken to our tables. Our section had enough room so that were comfortable and very close to the stage. Everything was super clean and well maintained and our server Renee was the most amazing server that I’ve ever had. She was totally working hard and getting things done. The drinks and food were delivered quickly. I recommend the Mango Iced Tea. All of the staff was totally professional and gave us perfect service. The show was great and we all cracked up and it was great to be able to meet the comedians after the show. They were all so nice and willing to take pictures with us. I had no idea what to expect from a comedy club since this was my first experience at one. Let me just say that we are so impressed and grateful to the entire staff for showing us a great time. It’s been 3 days now and we are still talking about the great time that we had.

Not a bad place for some stand up comedy, location is small enough to feel close enough to your favorite comedian(stay away from the front if you can’t take them making fun of you or don’t want the attention) it’s easy to get free tickets with a two drink minimum purchase. I can’t comment on the food since usually I have dinner and drinks before I walk in, I order beer but when you order mixed drinks its a hit or miss but if you request more alcohol they’ve been accommodating.

Happy New Year two thousand fifteen! Why not bring in the new year laughing? I came here last night for the special New Year’s Eve celebration with my husband. Main headliner for the evening is none other than Rodman, 2014’s Last Comic Standing winner(The opener for Rodman was Corey Marshall). My husband thought Rodman was funny on the show and wanted to see him, so as a good wife, I purchased tickets for the show. And since it being a special night, I decided to splurge for the VIP tickets($ 70 per person that comes with dinner. Each ticket has a $ 4 processing fee. Total $ 148 for two). Anyways, this was our first time at this Improv location. This comedy club is located at the Ontario Mills, specifically between the AMC Theater and Market Broiler(Gameworks is also down this way as well). After we checked in, we were escorted to a small table in the back. Although the place was nearly packed 30 minutes before the show starts, there were still a few other empty tables that are closer to the stage and wished we were seated at those tables instead(seems like seats are first come, first served… regardless of the VIP status or not… so come early if you want a good seat). Anyways, with our VIP tickets, we had dinner of the following items: Classic dinner salad– This dinner salad was lackluster… forgetable. This salad automatically came with balsamic dressing on the side. The only positive about this salad was that it counted towards my daily fiber intake. Pan seared salmon with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus– I ordered this entrée and was pleasantly surprised with it. The salmon was cooked well and I liked the garlic mashed potatoes. I wished there were more asparagus spears(only came with 4 spears). My husband thought the salmon was on the salty side though. Prime Rib with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus– The prime rib automatically came out as medium rare. The server we had didn’t even bother to ask how my husband wanted it. My husband thought the prime rib was good but could be better. The prime rib itself was on the thin side. Chocolate mousse– After we had finished our entrees, we waited quite a while for our dessert. If my husband did not say anything to our server, we probably would not have received it. Mousse is supposed to have a light, silky, airy texture and this was definitely not quite that. This was more of a pudding than a mousse. But besides that technicality, this dessert was just average. Food overall was okay, but comedy clubs are not know for their food(but I do want to mention that celebrity chef G. Garvin did revamp the menu at all the Improv clubs in 2013 so I would guess the food probably taste better now than before). Service was lacking. When we were first seated, we waited some time before someone came by to take our order. There was this female server who stopped by two tables next to our table and then walked away after she asked if we have been helped. We told her we have not and then she just walked away… so we had to find another server to get our meal started since the show was going to start soon. When the show started, the lights dimmed and service got worse. It took a long time for our water glasses to be refilled and our server never checked up on us. We had to get our server’s attention so that we could get our dessert. In the end, I laughed a lot with both Corey Marshall and with Rodman’s act. The VIP tickets were pretty pricey(it was $ 35 for the regular admission that requires a 2 item minimum per person… with VIP, the 2 item minimum is waived). I would have been happier if the VIP admission was $ 5-$ 10 cheaper. Service was lacking severely and wished I was seated closer to the stage. But I was still able to see the stage just fine from where I was seated though. To be honest, even though I enjoyed the jokes, I don’t really see myself coming back here because of the poor service and overpriced tickets. I have been to comedy clubs before and the servers at those clubs have done a better job in terms of being attentive. By the way, just wanted to mention that when I went to the restroom during Rodman’s act, I was able to hear him in the restroom, as there are speakers in the ladies’ restroom. I am sure it is the same for the men’s as well. So if you have to use the restroom during the show, you won’t miss as much.
