THE OWNER OF THIS BUSINESS IS A SCAM ARTIST AND A THIEF. HIRED ME FOR COMPUTER WORK and i completely 100% succesful and his scam is to turn around 2 days after he has all the work and file a charge back. Obvious scam artist and dishonest and low life piece of crap. AVOID THIS PERSON AT ALL COST

The price was good, they had what I was looking for, and the shipping was somewhat quick, BUT, the bike was all scratched up upon arrival and was missing a few bolts and washers that I needed to attach the seat. I contacted customer service through email and never received any sort of response. Disappointing.

Heads up, this location must be closed or gone out of business! Went there today around 4pm and there is a lock on the front door and their business sign has been removed from the building. When you call, still provides hours and address. ??

Thiefs ! Ordered a bike online — they charged me and send in a fashion that I have never received !

Went to the showroom today at my lunch. Sharon was there and helped me purchase just the right size, color and basket for me. She then helped me load it into my car. She is a great asset to your company! Very helpful and friendly! I would highly recommend J Bikes.

ok I paid for two bikes. one was ok the other one had scratches in two places and one decal was all messed
I do what you have to get a hold of them. Then they said we gave you 10% off $ 19.00 talk to your bank. I didn’t bye them from the bank. I thought I bought new bikes from you. Needless to say they got there money now there done with me. I like the bikes. looks like you cant trust everyone that sells on line. Wish I would have known before I placed my order.

I had a terrible experience with J Bikes. They do not answer their phones and the customer service is the worst. They have a terrible return policy which raised some red flags. If you need to return a bike that you purchased and had them assemble, you have to do so within 7 days and they charge 40 percent as a restocking fee. As others mention they tried to give me a bike with a HUGE scratch on it. One of the mechanics told me he took it off of the sales floor like that. Interesting since I PAID to have it ASSEMBLED. I told them I wanted to talk to a manager and they told me one was not available. I left the store saying I would not buy until I spoke to the manager. When I got home I got an email saying THEY cancelled my order because I complained about the scratch and did not pick up the bikes. They charged my credit card anyway and I had to involve the Better Business Bureau and my credit card company to have the charge reversed. The owner lied to the BBB saying that I did not allow the sales girl to return to her office to call the manager. Now how would I have done that? He also lied saying that I had sent them 30 emails. That was also a total lie! I sent 6 over 3 days and that was because they do NOT answer their phones. The salesgirl also told me that the bikes are made in the USA even though the manufacturer’s own website says they are made in China. DO NOT do business with these people! You will regret it. I had to involve the fraud dept at my credit card company and after putting me on hold to do some research and read reviews the Dispute Specialist told me they are going to monitor my account because he had never read so many poor reviews for one company and that raised some red flags. I just got a msg from the owner two weeks later (Sept 3) This guy is crazy. He told me the Better Business Bureau sided with him. They did not. I just got my money back so they closed the file. He is crazy! Do NOT shop here!

Place is crap, crap selection, they try and sell you bikes that are all scratched up, and then charge you for a already assembled bike. Do not go here it’s a ripoff!!!

My first time here at this bike shop. I’ve been to most shops in the area I can say by far this is the best place to go. Johnny helped me out to get some parts I needed to build a new bike. He has excellent people skills and I received the best customer service from this bike shop I will definitely be going back and bringing my friends and family Highly recommended.

They have great service and some of the most hard-​to-​find parts are around. The staff is very friendly and they won’t sell you something you don’t need!

Please, do NOT buy a bike from Jbikes. Take my warning seriously. Google their reviews. Their customer service is terrible. There are so many places to buy a bike, DONT go to jbikes. We bought a bike and received a call that it was sold out and they could send a bike that looks just like it. They sent another bike and we built it and it was not the same at all. When I tried to simply EXCHANGE it for the right bike they would not allow me to do so without taking 40% restock fee (even tho it was their mistake since we trusted them to send us a similar bike). I even tried to offer to meet in the middle at 20% and they would not allow. They were SO unbelievably rude, let me repeat that… SO RUDE… and they care more about money then they do about their customers. I even left a message for the owner, which they said he would call me, two weeks later and ge has not called. You have been warned!

Horrible Customer Service! They sent the wrong bike and won’t do anything about it without us having to pay more! Once they have your money that’s all they care about even if the bike is damaged when it arrives or flat out the wrong bike.

I purchased a bike for my fiancé for Christmas and I had a very easy going experience doing so. Creating and acct on their website is easy, picking out what bike you want is easy and paying is easy. The different shipping options is great and the $ 25 to have the bike built and picked up in store isn’t bad in my eyes. The office manager was very helpful with my 4 phone calls to check if the bike was ready. I would definitely buy an other bike from JBikes!

Johnny took great care of me and I was very happy with their customer service and great prices. I definitely recommend giving J Bikes a try the next time you’re in the market for a new cruiser or accessories.

If I had my choice I would give it ZERO!!! The customer service at this store is non existant. I ordered a bike for my grandson’s 10^th birthday, since my brother lives up in that area he went in to pick up the bike for me. They wouldn’t let him have the bike as I didn’t say anyone else was picking it up and the manager doesn’t allow that, but of course the manager wasn’t available and was supposed to call me back that day before noon, never received a call. My brother had me on the phone and they still wouldn’t allow him to take the bike. Nowhere on the order form does it give me a spot to add that information. So we cancelled my order and my brther placed a new one. Get the bike home, take it out to install it, one of the main bolts in the steering column is broke off. I call them twice sit on hold for 8 min. each time and then get a message to leave a voice mail message that nobody is availalble. I have sent a request via email though the web site, AND 2 emails… no replies at all. Not to mention the instructions to put the bike together are useless to say the least! We were able to find a bolt to replace in the bike from Home Depot. And still have not received any calls from this company. Just horrible customer service!!!

I was comparing prices online for a pink micargi tahiti beach cruiser and j bikes was the cheapest online. So, i called inquiring about the bike and the girl online was very helpful and knowledgeable about the bike. So, I drove up to ontario at lunch time at got the pink beach cruiser for my wife. Staff and owner were really friendly and helpful. Good selections and purchasing was easy. I was in and out. I would come back to get another bike and I would recommend this place.

I shopped the internet and found a good deal and just the right bike at JBikes. The price was right, color and accessories. It arrived in one day.
There were some obvious deep scatches when I opened the box. I filed a claim and they agreed to refund $ 40.00 for my trouble. It was so worth not having to send it back. Overall it worked out fine.

The WORST customer service ever! DO NOT BUY A BIKE AT JBIKES (either the Ontario or La Puente store, or on-​line). Seriously, I have never in my life had such a crazy-​bad experience with a store, and thank goodness I can warn people on Unilocal!I drove 60 miles (round-​trip) to pick up a bike that Tammie at JBikes agreed to transfer to the La Puente store and hold for me under my VISA card. I drove out to La Puente that Saturday as planned, but I accidentally left my wallet at home and didn’t have my credit card with me. Even though they had the card number (and I knew the security code and expiration date), and I could have purchased the bike over the phone or on-​line (i.e., without showing anyone the card), and even though I got someone from Bank of America (the issuer of my VISA card) on the phone to approve the transaction, they wouldn’t let me buy the bike. I told the salesman, Nick, that I would return on Monday (the very next business day) to get the bike (since the store is closed on Sundays, which is a huge inconvenience for customers who work during the week), and Nick told me that the bike would continue to be held for me under my credit card. (BTW, no one at the La Puente store speaks English except for Nick — — who is only there on Saturdays, which is why I waited until Saturday to drive out there). Since I knew that there was no one at the La Puente store on Mondays who speaks English, and I don’t speak Chinese, I called the main (Ontario) store FOUR times on Monday, and each time was automatically put on hold for 5 minutes (i.e., NO ONE answered the phone at the store for an entire day!!) and then was transferred to an answering machine. I also sent two e-​mails. NO ONE RETURNED MY PHONE CALLS OR MESSAGES. I was trying to reach someone simply to make sure the bike was still there before I made another 60-​mile round-​trip drive — — and thank goodness I called to check! When I called again first thing on Tuesday — — and finally was able to speak to someone in sales — — I was told that the bike that was supposed to be on hold for me (and was the last one of its kind in stock anywhere in Southern CA) had been sold ON-​LINE on Sunday (when the stores are closed). The salesman didn’t even apologize for their total screw-​up. These people are TOTALLY INCOMPETENT and DO NOT CARE about their customers. The sales people don’t know much (if anything) about bikes, and (unlike almost all bike shops), they don’t allow customers to test ride any of the bikes! I know a lot about bicycles, and it’s very important to test several bikes before you decide on one, since there are differences which can affect comfort and safety. I had tested the bike I wanted at another store, but that store didn’t have the color I wanted. And JBikes’ prices are the same as all of their competitors, so they don’t even offer any good deals.

On second thought, however, maybe things worked out for the best. I’ll have to wait another six weeks to get the bike that I want (which is currently on re-​order), but I won’t buy it (or anything, ever) at JBikes, and (at the bike shop where I plan to buy my new bike) I’ll be dealing with a reputable bike shop which has a great mechanic, where everyone speaks English AND knows a lot about bikes, which offers free service for the first year, which is open on Sundays, and which is close to where I live.
If you decide to buy a bike at JBikes anyway, don’t say you weren’t warned!

They are sleezy and crooked. They don’t care one bit about your satisfaction once they have your money. Once you pay them, you are on your own and you better hope there’s nothing wrong with your bike.

Don’t go there!!! nothing more to say. They only care about the money, not the customer not willing to work with you on anything. Not willing to give you the bike of your choice. Wanted to charge us for assembly fee for a bike that was already assembled.
