seriously? with the staff here i will never be returning to journeys, the store manager thi is the rudest manager ive ever encountered, came here to return some docs which i spent almost $ 200, only to have her accuse me that i probably stole them, since i didnt have a receipt, i showed her my bank statement which showed the total of how much the shoes were and it clearly said journeys, i didnt want my money back i just needed a bigger size since they run a little different, but she gave me such a hassle i just wanted to walk out, and she wanted to keep my shoes? really? i paid for them and you want to keep my shoes? i walked out, and the way she talked to her employees while i was there was unbelievable, she treated the girl like she was stupid, talked down to her when she didnt answer a customers question correct, ummm maybe its a reflection on you that your a bad manager, learn to treat your customers right and your own employees better, or get a different job.

Saw a pair of Osiris zebra/cheetah print high tops online that I absolutely fell in love with. Found them on journey’s website for way cheaper than where I originally saw them so I bought them. I eagerly awaited my shipment for a little over a week and when I saw the package at my front door I was so excited. I rushed in the house to put on my new kicks and what do I see when I open my box? One Osiris shoe(the one I ordered) and one DC shoe that looked nothing like my shoes I ordered. I was so mad, how do you not check the products you are shipping? I live in Placentia which is 30 miles away so I wasn’t about to waste the gas driving an hour there and an hour back. Luckily I got to speak to the manager whom was really sympathetic and helpful, which is what the 2 stars are for. She handled the situation very reasonably. They had one pair left in my size, which she said she will triple check that they are correct, and will ship out first thing Monday to the brea store where I hopefully can pick them up Tuesday. She also made sure she got the employee number so hopefully this person will learn to check the order before they ship out any future shipments! This was my first time making an online purchase from journeys and I’ll probably only come to my local store from now on. The staff is friendly if your seriously in the market for shoes. Most people are ‘just looking.’ Amanda and one of the guys was helpful in answering my questions abut sandles. I have actually needs and expectations for my footwear and they helped find products that would meet my needs based on their own experiences as well as previous customer reactions. I’ll be back for sure.
