Very good Carne sada burrito. They had that thing made so quick I did not even get my soda filled. #rocketdogrc

A kicked up version of fast food Mexican. I love this place! Really fresh tasting food. The tortillas are perfect especially in a burrito. The original burrito with shredded beef, beans, rice and cheese is heaven for me. You can add sour cream, guacamole etc, but I like it how it comes. Taquito plate, tostada plate and enchiladas are also great. Hardly any grease either. Ambiance — basic and clean inside with the family story posted on wall. Service is quick and polite. You order at counter then seat yourself. One of my favorite places to eat. Try it!

I wish they had Miguel’s JR in the high desert. I eat here every time I come down the hill. All of their food is fresh fresh fresh! Best tacos best burritos best everything. If you’ve never been here before you are missing out! PS please build one up in the high desert because we love you and we need more restaurants that provide fresh food just like you

First time here… not what I expected at all… Price is high for the quality of food received. Ordered the $ 8.49 garbage burrito and that’s exactly what I got… Opted for no bean carna asada and all I received was rice burrito with very little anything else in it. My carna asada burrito was no different, I thought they had mistakenly given me a rice and bean burrito. There was not enough of anything other than beans and rice. I would have saved money if I would have ordered the bean and cheese burrito like my daughter did. The carne asada taco was okay but could have been much better with the $ 3.19 price tag. I will not be going back to this place… very much disappointed.

I rarely have Miguel’s Jr, but this is definitely one of those spots you want to hit on your drive home from the glorious city of Vegas, which I did. The beef taco is my favorite, it’s so delectable with the oily juices that you see spilling out onto the white wrapper. The beef is shredded and moist, paired perfectly with their famous hot sauce and a mountain of cilantro. The shell is different and not like those other franchise joints, not too crispy. This taco was so on point for me, maybe because I was hungover and burnt out from the long drive but the taco saved me from being hangry. The enchiladas were divine as well with the gooey cheese and plethora of beans and rice. But that taco tho.

I love this place. Burritos are the best. I can’t find any beans that are better then this place.

To start, I’m only leaving this review because I literally watched the cook(a younger, possibly Hispanic mixed with white guy, probably in his 20’s) drop 3 taquetos on the ground and pick them up with his tongs and wipe them off with a rag & put them on a plate. I couldn’t believe what I had just seen. I’m well aware of the fact that this happens often, but I guess it was just hard to see for myself. Moving forward, it seems as though asking for extra cheese means no cheese in the eyes of the cook. My order was wrong in more than one way, so it was a good thing that I ate it there instead of gotten it to go. I remember when Miguel’s Jr was the best spot on the planet to eat, at least for me… But since they’ve moved to a more corporate style chain, the quality and taste were compromised. I hope a manager sees this review and has a conversation with the cook about that incident, God knows it could potentially have cause the person eating them to get sick. This incident occurred on 11÷8÷2015 at approximately 4:00pm.

Found a long black hair in my burrito half way through eating it… Very disgusted and I don’t know how they could not see this super long hair before wrapping up the burrito.

Service is friendly. Restaurant atmosphere is bright and cherrie. Carbonated beverages, excellent. Food presentation, sloppy. Food taste on chile verde combo plate… good. Garbage burrito, very tasty and good. Chicken nachos, very good. Bean n cheese burrito, wet style, don’t bother…

Just found this place, and we will for sure be back! The BRC burrito(wet) was so good and huge. They have good creamy guacamole. Lots of drink options and the good crushed ice :) Clean, fast & not expensive… Just how I like my Mexican food!

I come to Miguel’s when ever I’m craving a bean and cheese burrito. For $ 2.26 you can’t beat it. Its a big burrito. One can fill you up for hours. Something about the beans, it taste home made. I always get the green sauce and between the burrito and the green sauce it makes a great combo. I haven’t tried anything else because I think the value is not there. So this review is just for the bean and cheese. Plus side. this inside of this place is very clean and you have unlimited access to the sauce bar.

Have visited the Costa Mesa Miguel Jr. since it opened a few years ago, so I know what the quality should be. This location does not live up to the standard. I had to quit eating my chicken taquitos because I was afraid of food poisoning from the chicken, it was mushy and gamey. Nothing like the fresh white meat I get at the Costa Mesa location. Won’t visit this location again with these low quality standards.

You can never go wrong when you go to Miguel’s junior. If it’s your first time here ordering a bean and cheese burrito. They are the best. Everything else on the menu is good but my favorites are chicken quesadilla chicken taco with the oil drained. And the cool thing is if you’re on a diet or not too hungry you can get the«mini bean and cheese burrito.»

Very good Mexican food for a fast food place. The enchiladas with beans & rice are exceptionally good. I choose Miguels everytime over Albertos next door. Miguels tastes more like restaurant fare over Albertos street style.

I was told by a friend who is from the area that Miguel Jr’s is THE taco spot. Let me tell you that she was not wrong. The inside looks like any other normal fast food restaurant. The menu is very simple. No real fancy food items here. Tacos(two types), burritos, quesadillas, nachos and combo plates. As recommended by my friend I went with two regular shredded beef tacos. The food was ready a minute later, maybe two. The taco shells were crispy, the shredded beef was tender with good flavor, and even the shredded cheddar cheese on top was better then you would find at other taco places. What I really loved about the place was how juicy the beef really was. Every bite into the tacos spilled more and more juice onto my tray. Amazing flavor, amazing prices, amazing place in general.

let me say 1 thing shame on you Miguel’s Jr. Your chili verde burrito had no Green chili in it that I could taste, and I must add no cheese. Absolutely none. I ordered inside and got it to go. I also ordered 2 shredded beef tacos. You want to talk about being stingy with some shredded beef then get this taco, very little meat. My bill came to 9.69 total with tax. I am also going to post pictures I took of this awful Experience I had at this establishment of the chili verde burrito and see for yourself that there is no Green chili or cheese in this burrito. Idk maybe the Cooks got high and ate the chili and cheese who knows but you lost my business Miguel’s
