Excellent food and fast service! This is our go-to spot when ordering food for entertaining and parties at our home. It’s always a hit with our guest.

The chicken was overcooked & dry. Seemed like it was not freshly cooked. Im The last 2 times in the last month, seems like different quality of chicken & overcooked too.

Great Customers Service, there is many locations but this by far is my favorite. The chicken is delicious and the potato salad is to die. Prices are great and you get a lot for you money. Ive been coming to this location for years and still my favorite location. Best Chicken hands down. You just have to try it.

This place is average. Food is just ok. I got the pollo bowl which consisted of rice, beans, chicken, and cheese. I held the green onions. The bowl came with my choice of flour or corn tortillas… I was surprised to see 6 flour tortillas in this pack. Dining room very small with flies all over the place. I felt like I was eating outside. Minus 1 star. Additionally, for a refill of the large soda it is $.25. Seriously are we back in the 90’s? Who doesnt have free refills nowadays? Minus 1 star. Overall ok food if your hungry and considerate enough to share your food with the flies and pay an additional $.25 for a refill. Again… Average Establishment. Wretro out.

On our way back home to Sacramento stop and picked up some Juan Pollo. Still good as I remember. Picked up some soft tacos and the crunchy tacos and a whole chicken to go. We love it

I have always loved getting chicken from here it never disappoints. Their potato salad is to die for! I went in there today and got their lunch deal it was the perfect amount of chicken, it included two sides(rice and potato salad) and 3 tortillas and of course their salsa. If you want some good chicken on the go I definitely recommend this place! Taste much better than a place that sells fried chicken!

The food was decently priced and everything was delicious! I love their potato salad, beans were flavorful, and rice was good(sometimes it’s a hit or miss). I like the new renovation they did to the place, it looks a lot nicer.

First time I have ever tried Juan Pollo and I wasn’t impressed. I had asked for all dark meat(and even confirmed it again at the end of my order), and they still gave me white meat. The chicken was okay but I thought it was a bit dry. Had they gotten my order correct, I probably would have given 3 stars, but even at 3 stars… That’s not really a place I would strongly recommend.

Food is good, but the workers are rude and don’t smile. I know this isn’t Olive Garden where you expect customer service, but at least these guys don’t have to be a bunch of knuckle dragging cavemen.

Tasty but the chicken is dry. The rice is mushed together. Not good. This place is ok.

I love Juan Pollo, but I’m not a fan of this location. I’ve went to this location twice, and both times they were out of one of the sides and the chicken was slightly dry and a bit overcooked. The prices at Juan Pollo are good, but I’ll most likely go to the one in Mira Loma or Chino next time.

Been going to this Juan Pollo location for years. The $ 51LB burrito does not disappoint, you can’t get a burrito that size any where and its always consistent. I love eating this burrito in bed watching tv and falling asleep in a food coma The Juan Pollo in Pomona off of second street is always smaller, which pisses me off after my expectations from the Ontario location. Salsa is on point, horchata is nice and is better than a lot of Mexican restraints in the area, potato salad is GOAT(greatest of all time). I feel all the Juan Pollos have old furniture and interior but the food does justice, they should remodel them. Customer service is always straight Go here almost weekly BUYTHEBURRITO

I’m a fan of Juan Pollo, in general, but I had never been to this location before. Yea, glad we hit it up for lunch because it did not disappoint! I had the lunch special which is two pieces of chicken with rice and potato salad and tortillas and salsa. I get mine with all white meat which is an up-charge, but worth it! It’s like $ 6.50 with the upcharge and then a couple bucks for a large soda. ANDTHEPOTATOSALADROCKS! I don’t even like potato salad much, but I love love love the potato salad at Juan Pollo. Delish! The only negative on this lunch is it is huge and I can never eat all the chicken which is okay if I’m at home and can put it away, but I hate tossing the chicken when I don’t have a way to save it for later! Anyway, if you find yourself on Archibald in Ontario and trying to figure out where to eat, you can thank me later for pointing you towards Juan Pollo. Enjoy!

I went one time with my kids and ordered 2 taco plates. The person behind the counter literally took 2 plates wrapped in plastic wrap out of a fridge and reheated it… was a crappy experience…

The chicken is so so so so good. The skin is perfect! The sides are great. I’ve been coming here since 1996, but unfortunately I live far away and making it out to Ontario is a drag. But when I’m in the area, I always stop by.

It may not be the best, but I constantly crave it. I don’t know what it is… Every time I’m in Ontario, I eat at Juan Pollo. The chicken tacos are flavorful and their rice is my favorite! I’ve also tried their chicken and it’s nice and tender. I always have a hard time finding chicken I like, and theirs does the trick.

Sometimes I just want some chicken and rice and Juan Pollo is just the spot! :) Their chicken sometimes seems salty but its so tender it falls right off the bone! I love their family value packs consisting of chicken, rice, beans, potato salad, and of course tortillas. You can choose flour or corn. The salsa is also available in hot or mild as well. I like to mix it up and get both sets of salsa. There is different sizes according to each family hunger needs. Menu has selections of tacos, a chicken salad, and quesadillas as well. It’s a simple concept all surrounded around their yummy chicken. Employees were friendly and remembered my order when I came back a second time. It isn’t too appealing on the inside though, and the lighting inside seems off. But I come here solely for the food and enjoy myself.

If you haven’t been to Juan Pollo your missing out. Great chicken at a great price. The food at this location was great. The 3 stars is because the place needs to be cleaned up a bit. The company has done a nice job of cleaning up the locations but this specific location needs to do an overhaul of their restaurant. The place seemed a bit dirty.

I have to begin by saying that I LOVEJUANPOLLO! BUT I can’t stand this place I’ll just go when I need a Juan pollo fix maybe once every two to three months… Like I said I love the food but these places need to be cleaner. I can’t stand the same smell that all the restaurants have and most people working at the Juan pollo’s aren’t too professional. I always feel that the kitchen is dirty and that affects how my food taste. I love the food but they need to keep their locations cleaner… If the would be cleaner I would probably be there once every other week.

I regret to advise that I was very unimpressed with John Chicken #26 in Ontario. I recently bought the family meal with two chickens and three large sides. The chicken was meaty, but there wasn’t the slightest trace of seasoning in the meat. Nothing. Nada. No salt, citrus, garlic, pepper, oil, or butter. It had no more flavor than an unseasoned boiled chicken. It was like something you’d serve to a hospital patient on a strict no-sodium diet. Blah, John Chicken! Blah! Shame on you! For what it’s worth, my Welsh Corgi thought your chicken was simply terrific. But then again, that adorable little bastard will eat anything with equal enthusiasm. The side dishes that came with our meal were rice and refried beans. The rice was… well…strange. It wasn’t the Spanish-style rice you’d expect at a Mexican-style rotisserie chicken restaurant. It was light yellow in color and it contained shreds of chicken. Why would I want chicken in my rice when I’m already having chicken with my chicken? The rice was also undercooked, so the grains were slightly hard. It was like some sort of weird pseudo-fried rice. Most upsetting. The refried beans were very bland. Not that refried beans are usually bursting with flavor, but these beans were quite dry and just very plain tasting. It was like eating chunky spackle. And as for the salsa, it had chunks of crunchy red bell pepper. It gave the salsa an odd consistency. I love bell peppers, but I’m not sure they belong in salsa. If this is some sort of experiment, it failed in my book. On the plus side, the flour tortillas from John Chicken #26 were fresh, soft, and warm. Kudos to whomever heated the tortillas! You were the one saving grace in an otherwise forgettable meal. Yeah for the tortilla guy! Sorry, John Chicken, you have not earned the intriguing Latin flair of a business which aspires to display the suave moniker of «Juan Pollo.» Nope, you are sadly just John Chicken. :-(
